Newton's Nook Designs & Therm O Web Inspiration Week - Day 5 with Farhana Sarker, Maria Russell & Jennifer Jackson

This week Newton's Nook Designs and Therm O Web are partnering for a fabulous inspiration week! All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to add fun foils and more to your cards using Therm O Web products with Newton's Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! Today we are featuring projects by Farhana and Maria! 

First up we are sharing a two gorgeous friendship cards by Farhana: 

On her first card Farhana created a beautiful floral card featuring pretty purple roses and hearts using Newton's Nook Designs stamps and dies. Then she added a coordinating purple background filled with tiny sparkly hearts using foils from Therm O Web.

This second card by  Farhana would make any dog lover smile! She uses stamps and dies from Newton's Nook Designs to create a scene. She adds a lovely cloudy sky using by adding fuzzy texture using transfer gel and flock Therm O Web over a cloud stencil from Newton's Nook Designs. Full products are listed below.

For her first card Maria created an adorable scene that is perfect for sending a smile to a friend! She used stamps and dies from Newton's Nook Designs to create the scene. She added flock from Therm O Web to the sun and grass for a fun bit of texture. She also added created fuzzy clouds using a cloud stencil from Newton's Nook Designs with transfer gel and flock from Therm O Web. So cute!

For her second project Maria created this amazing gnome card! She created a fun rainbow background and added sparkly hearts over the top using Toner Sheets and foil by Therm O Web. Then she layered the gnome and vellum heart over the top using stamps and dies from Newton's Nook Designs! The sparkles and rainbow give this card such a lovely magical feeling!

For her first card, Jennifer gets ready for summer with a fun tropical card. She used the two piece Pineapple stencil from Newton's Nook Designs and added fuzzy green tops to the pineapples using transfer gel and flock sheets from Therm O Web. For her second card, Jennifer created a fun scene featuring the new kitten stamps and with dies from Newton's Nook Designs. For the background, she used the two piece butterfly stencil from Newton's Nook Designs and added texture to the butterfly wings using transfer gel and flock sheets from Therm O Web for a fun and happy spring card!

Aloha Friend Card by Andrea Shell

Aloha!

Today Andrea combines several fun products together in a unique way to create a vibrant tropical themed card! For stamp sets, she combined the koala from our Pina Koala Stamp Set with the big frame from our Tropical Fringe Stamp Set. She colored both of the images in fun bright colors using watercolor markers. Then, although the image from the Tropical Fringe Stamp Set is a big square frame, she instead cut it out to make a circle frame by using our new Circle Frames Die Set! What a creative idea and the image fits perfectly! She also used the scalloped circle from the Circle Frames Die Set to layer another decorative circle behind it in lavender. The koala fits perfectly in the center after he is cut out using the coordinating Pina Koala Die Set.

For the card background she stenciled a background panel using our Serene Stripes Stencil with pink ink over light pink paper. Then she cut the panel out, using our Framework Die Set to give it a fun postage stamp edge. She finishes the layout by adding the sentiment "Aloha Friend" from the Tropical Fringe Stamp Set, adding it onto a circle that was cut out using the Circle Frames Die Set. She also embellishes two of the corners with die cut tropical leaves and a hibiscus flower using our Hibiscus Die Set.

What a wonderful way to combine all these items together for a gorgeous tropical card!

Zsofia created a whole rainbow of flip flops using the new Flip-Flop Life Stamp Set! She cut them using the coordinating die set and arranged them in a circle around the sentiment! So cheerful and perfect for summer fun! 

Samantha used our new Floaty Goat Stamp Set for this fun summer card. She colored the goat and cut him out with the coordinating die set. Then she added him to her card with a fun watercolor background! So cute!

Larissa created this fun card using the new mini Cat Treats Stamp Set. She used the cat ice cream cone and colored it for her main image. She also used the ice cream and cherries to stamp a fun background pattern along the bottom and the Sunscape Stencil to create the light pink sun rays across the top!

Amanda created an adorable little scene using the new Pina Koala Stamp Set. She colored the Koala bear and added him inside the frame from the Framework Die Set. She also used our Land Borders Die Set to create layers of grass! How adorable! 

Naki created this adorable mini décor piece using our Vitamin Sea Stamp Set. She stamped the sentiment onto a mini canvas, embossed it in gold and colored it with soft pastels! She then added some rope and metal embellishments to finish off her decoration! So unique and pretty! 

Ellen created an amazing sea scene featuring the flip flops from our new Flip-Flop Life Stamp Set! She colored the flip-flops in fun bright colors, cut them out with the coordinating Flip-Flop Life Die Set and added them to a beach scene. She used our Land Borders Die Set to create the sand and our Sea Borders Die Set to create the waves. She added in the sun rays using the Sunscape Stencil. She also used the Scallop edged frame from the Framework Die Set. 

Tatiana created this yummy summer card featuring our new Pina Koala Stamp Set. She colored the sweet Koala bear and added him to her card along with two tropical drinks that were stamped using our Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set. Such a perfect pairing of stamps! 

This adorable card was created by Maria using our new Cat Treats Stamp Set. She stamped the kitty ice cream cone and donut in a cute pattern and colored them in shades of brown with pops of teal and pink! She added the sentiment, embossed in white on black in the center. She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set for the scallop edged panel. 

This gorgeous card was created by Juliana. She used our new Vitamin Sea Stamp set as the center focal point, embossing it in white and inking over it with blue tones. Then she used our Seashells Stencil with foil to create that amazing background. She also cut out the little scallop edged frame using our Framework Die Set. 

Holly used cute our new Pina Koala Stamp Set to create this sweet and simple card! She colored the Koala and cut him out with the coordinating Pina Koala Die Set. Then she added the image onto her watercolor panel for a fun and simple card. She used our Frames & Flags Die Set to cut out the stitched rectangle panel.
