Congrats to Rita Wright who made this adorable card using or Digital Freebie Bird image! We really loved how she turned the sketch sideways - and her color combo is just so bright and fun!! 

We loved this card by Indy too - It's so cool how she used the Rose and leaves from our Love Grows set to create the circle and flag shape from the sketch!  We also love the coloring on that orange kitty  from the Newton's Daydream set and that she cut it out with those intricate flowers! Great Job!

We really loved how Tatiana used cute little vellum tags and a snowflake for the circle on her card! She used our fun Frozen Friends stamp set to create this cute card.  

Kelly created this gorgeous field of flowers  using our Versatile Vases set - so beautiful! 

This campfire scene by Yuki was one that definitely caught our eye! We LOVE the coloring and that purple sky! Yuki used our Campfire Tails set to create this adorable scene.

Hello and Happy Monday! Today I get to reveal our very special Guest Designer for our September - Kimberly Rendino! Kim has been an awesome NND fan and has many adorable cards blog using our stamps!

Hi!!! I'm so excited to join the Newton's Nook design team for the month of September! Autumn is my favorite season, and I've been having such fun playing with the new release!

I live in Central New York with my husband Joe, son Alex and daughter Arissa. Oh....and don't let me forget my two sweet kitties, Holly & Ivy! (Who am I kidding - I'd never leave them out! They are spoiled rotten, lol!). I love that my kids have inherited the crafty gene - Alex will be in Advanced Art this year, and Arissa is my crafting partner in crime. My husband built me an awesome craft room in our basement and it's my favorite place in the house!

I've always been creative (thanks, Mom!), but started scrapbooking back in 1999. That led to cardmaking, which is my absolute favorite! I'm a technique junkie - there is always something new to learn, and the papercrafting community is a treasure trove full of information and inspiration! I love this hobby and the people involved with it!

You may recognize Kim's card below as a winner from our inky paws challenge #10 in June - We really loved this card that she created using our Free Digital Sunflower image!

Today we are sharing the winners of the latest Inky Paws Challenge! Our Fans here at NND are the BEST! I think every month the challenge entries are better than the one before! This months challenge was to add a texture - Wood, Cork or Metal!

This Winston card by Kelli using Campfire Tails is super fun!  We really liked the ruler added in - for winston to measure how big his fish is! And the little cork behind the sentiment is so fun!  Check out her blog, Time out for Stamps to see more of Kelli's work!

 Annie used all three textures on her card - cork, metal and wood! She stamped Cork kitties, a wooden gift bag and a metal balloon! All using our  Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set! Annie has more fun cards on her blog, Lab Hands!

We thought this kitty card by Cindy was a really fun way to use all the colors in the palette!  She used the kitty from Newton's Antics and the "hello" from Winged Wishes!   

We also really loved this card by Marina!  It's so fun how she used the fall leaves from Wagon of Wishes but made it look springy by using the pastel color palette! What a good way to get more use out of your stamps!

I told you I had something special planned for today - yep, that's right!

Today I'm announcing our very first Inky Paws Challenge!

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? The Challenge winner will receive a $10 store credit to our online store and a Inky Paws Challenge Winner Badge to add to your blog! If we get more than 15 participants, we will choose two winners so be sure to tell your friends to play along! 

Are you ready to play along and get your paws inky? 

• Create a NEW project (card or other paper craft item) based on the sketch above.
• Your project MUST use at least one Newton's Nook Designs stamped image (or free digital stamp -see below at the bottom of this post).
• Post your project to your blog or to an online photo gallery such as Flickr. 
• Link back to this challenge (if posting in an online gallery copy the link into the photo description). 
• Submit your project to this challenge using the Inlinkz widget below. You must submit a DIRECT link to your post page.

Check out the hello friend card that Design Team Member Tessa Wise created from our sketch! So pretty and feminine! Her card uses the kitty from the stamp set Newton's Antics and the hello from Winged Wishes. 

Design Team Member Samantha Mann also decided to play along using Newton's Antics. She also used the "thanks" banner from Winged Wishes.  I love all the different patterns she used and how she colored the kitty two-toned!  

What a cute card made by Guest Designer Jean Martin using the stamp set Newton's Antics. The navy and lime green color combo are stunning and the little dots she added are so pretty! 

Of course I had to make a couple cards too! For my first card I used the set Just say Cheese to create a fun, bright and colorful card! 

Then - turned the sketch sideways (crazy, right?) and made this card using the digital freebie - If you don't have a Newton's Nook Designs Stamp of your own to use in the challenge - check out the freebie below!
