Some-Bunny Special Tag by Diane Morales

For Some-bunny Special! 

Today we are sharing an adorable spring tag by Diane featuring our Spring Garden Line Stencil and Hop Into Spring Stamp Set.

Diane created her tag using the Bookmark II Die Set. To make the bookmark into a shorter tag she just trimmed off the bottom of the die cut shape. Next she used the daffodil shapes from our Spring Garden Line Stencil in rows across the tag. This stencil has rows of daffodils, tulips and stems but for her project today she used only the daffodils. She stenciled them in shades of yellow with a little green thrown in for fun! 

Next she stamped and colored the cute bunny from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. The bunny holding the daffodil matches perfectly with the daffodils on the stenciled background! It's the perfect combination of spring images! 

For the sentiment she chose "You're some-bunny special!" from the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set.

This sweet spring tag would be perfect for adding onto a sweet spring gift or bouquet of spring flowers!

Hippity Hoppity Cards by Jennifer Jackson

Hippity Hoppity! 

Hello! Jen here today and I've been having fun with some easter crafting! Today I'm sharing two bunny cards that both feature our Bunny Tails Stencil Set and Hop Into Spring Stamp Set!

For the first card, pictured above, I used our Bunny Tails Stencil Set to make a fun background of teal bunnies. This stencil is a two piece set and one piece has the bunny silhouettes and the second piece has the bunny tails.  The stencil also has etching on each piece so you can easily line up the bunnies and tails. I used two shades of teal to create the fun background. Then I layered it over a teal rectangle with a scalloped edge that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. 

For the main image, I stamped and colored the bunny in a spring watering can from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. I chose bright spring colors of copic markers, matching the color of the watering can to the stenciled background. The image was cut out using the coordinating Hop Into Spring Die Set before layering it onto the card. I also added the sentiment "Hippity Hoppity" from our Spring Roundabout Stamp Set. This was stamped onto a yellow banner that was cut out using the same Frames & Flags Die Set. 

For the second card I used almost exactly the same supplies but created a slightly different card layout. For the background I made another panel of bunnies using our Bunny Tails Stencil Set but this time I used a yellow cardstock base and mustard ink for the bunny silhouettes. Then I used flocking to addd fuzzy white tails to the bunnies. I cut this panel out using the Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the fun scalloped edge. 

Again, I colored the same image of the bunny in the watering can from the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set but this time I made the watering can yellow to match the background pattern. 

I used the same "Hippity Hoppity" sentiment from the Spring Roundabout Stamp Set, but this time I stamped it onto a piece of cream colored cardstock and then cut a scalloped edge on one side using our Sky Borders Die Set. A small stripe of pink ribbon finishes the card.

I hope you enjoyed these fun spring cards! I also hope that I have inspired you to make multiple cards using similar supplies but changing them up just a little! This is such a fun way to try new things and experiment!

Easter Egg Treat Box by Ellen Haxelmans

 

A Special Easter Treat!

Today Ellen is sharing how you can decorate a simple treat box to make a special Easter treat! 

She started out by stamping the adorable image of the bunny and Easter basket from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. She used fun spring colors and added extra dots to the rabbits fur for a fun special detail! The image was cut out using the coordinating Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. 

She framed this image by using the decorative square die from our Frames Squared Die Set and cutting out a piece of yellow polka dotted paper from our Springtime Paper Pad. Then she adhered this to the top of a cute little purple easter egg holder. So cute!

Don't forget to embellish the inside:

Inside the lid, she added fun custom sentiment. The letters to spell "Happy" were cut out of a blue polka dot paper from our Springtime Paper Pad using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. The speech bubble was cut out of a yellow polka dot paper from our Springtime Paper Pad using our Speech Bubbles Die Set. The word "easter" is from the Spring Pile Up Die Set.

Hoppy Easter Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Happy Easter!

Today Tatiana is jumping ahead to share Easter inspiration with an amazing bright and colorful bunny card! 

For this card, Tatiana used the no line coloring technique to color the images from our Hop into Spring Stamp Set. She stamped the images with a very light colored ink so that the edges of the image would be hidden underneath her coloring. She used masking to overlap two images, using both the image of the bunny and basket and the image of the bunny holding an egg. Then she colored the images using Karin Brushmarkers for the beautiful bright colors. 

This colorful scene really makes card so she kept the layout simple. She used our  Frames & Flags Die Set to cut out the white panel with a rounded stitched edge. The banner from the Frames & Flags Die Set also is the perfect spot for the sentiment. For the card base she used our Basketweave Stencil over kraft colored cardstock to add a basket pattern, perfect to go with the Easter theme!

Colorful Easter Bunnies Card by Maria Russell

Colorful Easter Bunnies!

Today we have a bright and cheerful Easter card by Maria to share! She created rows of adorable bunnies in bright colors using our Bunny Tails Stencil Set. This stencil set has two layers and she used the second "tail" layer to add fluffy white tails to all the bunnies using white texture paste! So cute! 

For her card, she cut a large circle out of the colorful bunny pattern using our Circle Frames Die Set to hold a cute little bunny scene that features the bunny holding a daffodil from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. She colored the cute bunny using alcohol markers and then cut it out with the coordinating Hop Into Spring Die Set. She also filled the circle with a scene, creating clouds with our Clouds Stencil and adding die cut grass using our Land Borders Die Set. The sentiment, "happy Easter" from our Newton's Easter Basket was embossed in white on black paper and she hand cut it out. 

Here is a close up so you can see the incredible coloring on the bunny and daffodil and those fluffy tails!

This card would be perfect for sending fun and cheerful wishes this Easter!

You're Some-bunny Special Card by Zsofia Molnar

Some-bunny Special!

Today we are are sharing a darling bunny scene created by Zsofia. This sweet scene combines the bunnies from two of our adorable stamp sets. The bunny holding the daffodil is from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set and the bunny stretching to sniff the flower is from our Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set. Don't they go so perfectly together? Zsofia colored the bunnies with soft gray and cut them them out using the coordinating Hop Into Spring Die Set and Bitty Bunnies Die Set. To make the scene even cuter, she colored the lily of the valley from our Little Lilies Stamp Set in lovely shades of blue and green, cutting it out out using the coordinating Little Lilies Die Set. These images were all added to her card over a soft blue background. A layer of grass was added along the bottom using our Land Borders Die Set. She added some flowers on the grass and butterflies into the sky using the little images from the Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set. The sentiment "You're some-bunny special" completes the scene. To finish the card, she added a fun strip of floral patterned paper along the bottom too.

These sweet bunnies surrounded by flowers are perfect for sending some Spring cheer to a friend or loved one!

Hoppy Spring Card by Maria Russell

Hoppy Spring!

Does it feel like Spring yet where you live? According to the calendar Spring is officially here and we are celebrating today with an adorable Spring card by Maria! This adorable card features a duo of sweet bunnies from two different stamp sets! The bunny holding the daffodil is from our new Hop into Spring Stamp Set and the bunny with the cupcake is from our Woodland Picnic Stamp Set. She paired them together, coloring the daffodil and cupcake with pretty pinks! She used the coordinating Hop into Spring Die Set and Woodland Picnic Die Set to cut the bunnies out.

For her card she created a beautiful pink background panel, giving it a postage edge using our Framework Die Set. She added a circle die cut in the center to hold a lovely little scene that was created using a grass border cut out using our Land Borders Die Set and clouds and a sunshine from our Sky Scene Builder Die Set. She made the cute scene into a shaker too, adding lovely transparent hearts inside.

To finish out the card she added the sentiment "hoppy Spring" by combing the word hoppy from the Hop into Spring Stamp Set with letters that spell out Spring, cut out with our Essential Alphabet Die Set.

Hoppy Easter Card by Zsofia Molnar

A Hoppy Easter Scene!

This fun spring scene by Zsofia features a trio of adorable bunnies that are ready to hop along and  send an Easter wish! She stamped the cute bunny friends from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set and colored them with fun bright colors using alcohol markers. She added lovely details to the coloring using a white gel pen and some glossy accents. The images were cut out using the coordinating Hop Into Spring Die Set.

For the scene, she die cut out clouds and a sunshine using our new Sky Scene Builder Die Set and layered them over a vibrant blue sky. Along the bottom she added a grassy edge using our Land Borders Die Set. She also added some dimension between the bunnies using the fence from our Fence Die Set.

The combo of bright colors on the images and die cuts creates a vibrant and cheerful scene that is sure to brighten your day!

Easter Card and Treat Box by Ellen Haxelmans

Happy Easter Card and Treat Box!

Today Ellen created an adorable set of Easter projects that would be perfect to send as a little Easter gift to a loved one! Both projects feature the bunnies from our new Hop into Spring Stamp Set.


For the card, she chose the image of the bunny with the Easter basket, coloring it with copic markers. She cut the images out using the coordinating Hop into Spring Die Set.  She created some grass for the bunny to sit in using our Land Borders Die Set and added a sunny sky with our Sunscape Stencil. She also used rounded corner and scalloped square frames using our Frames Squared Die Set. The "Happy Easter" was added on using the bonus die cut sentiment from our Hop into Spring Die Set.

For the treat box, she chose the image of the bunny hugging an Easter egg and colored it using copic markers. She cut the image out using the coordinating Hop into Spring Die Set. A layer of grass for the bunny to sit in was added using our Land Borders Die Set and flowers were added to the box using our Petite Flower Stencil. The sentiment was added on, stamped onto a bubble from our Speech Bubbles Die Set.

On the backside of the box, a window was added using the ticket shaped die from the Framework Die Set so that you can see the treats inside!

Tips on creating these fun projects!

Below we have some tips from Ellen on how she created the fun treat box and card:

1. I die cut the boxes first then used the ticket shaped die from the Framework Die Set to cut out the window. I used the Petite Flower Stencil to create a pretty flower pattern. Next I cut out the grass using the Land Borders Die Set and inked it with Distress ink.
2. I colored the images with  Copic Markers: E37, E35, E33 and E31 (bunny), YR09, YR07, YR04, Y04, Y02, Y00, Y38, Y35, Y08 (chicks

1.  Just like I did for the box,  I first cut out all the elements I needed to create the scene. I used the scalloped square from the  Frames Squared Die Set, the grass using the Land Borders Die Set and the sentiment using the Hop into Spring Die Set. I added the sun to the yellow square using the Sunscape Stencil with distress ink  o create a happy bright day.
2. I colored the bunny and basket from the Hop into Spring Stamp Set and teh eggs from the Newton's Easter Basket Stamp Set using the following copic markers: E37, E35, E33 and E31 (bunny), E79, E59 and E57 (basket), YR09, YR07, YR04, Y04, Y02, Y00, YG05, YG01, YG00, RV06, RV04, RV02, V06, V05, V04, V01(easter eggs) Y38, Y35, Y08 (chicks)

Hoppy Easter Folding Scene Card by Amanda Wilcox

Hoppy Easter!

Today we are sharing a fun interactive card by Amanda that is perfect for a special Easter greeting! She created this sweet Spring scene featuring two of the bunnies from our new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. She stamped the images in gray ink to give them soft edges and colored them using watercolors for a soft look. She cut the images out using the coordinating Hop Into Spring Die Set. The scene has cuts and folds so that it opens up to reveal a larger scene (this technique is called a wiper surprise card).

The scene was created using our Land Borders Die Set for the hill and grass layers. The clouds in the sky were added using our Clouds Stencil and the sun was die cut out using our new Sky Scene Builders Die Set. The little ducky and flowers are from the Newton's Rain Boots Stamp Set and add on even more cuteness!

The sentiment was added above the bunny with the daffodil using a bubble from our Speech Bubbles Die Set to hold it above his head.

The pop of pastels on this card by Maria is perfect happy Easter hello! She features the cute bunny and basket from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, using bright bold pastels to color the image. She creates a scene of pastel clouds using our Clouds Stencil and adds grass using our Land Borders Die Set. For the die cut greeting she uses our Holiday Greetings Die Set for the word "happy" and adds on the custom word "Easter" using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. The scalloped edge was added using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Zsofia created a delightful rainy day scene, perfect for Spring! She features the image of the bunny in the watering can from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, adding bright colors to the tulips. She created a rainy sky background using our new Raindrops Stencil with glittery embossing paste. A layer of clouds was added across the top using our Sky Borders Die Set and grass was created with our and Borders Die Set. She added the sentiment onto a tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set and framed the scene with a scalloped edge using our Frames & Flags Die Set.
