Newton's Nook Designs & Therm O Web Inspiration Week - Day 4 with Sam VanArnhem & Tatiana Trafimovich

This week Newton's Nook Designs and Therm O Web are partnering for a fabulous inspiration week! All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to add fun foils and more to your cards using Therm O Web products with Newton's Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win! 

Today we are featuring projects by Samantha and Tatiana! 

First up we are sharing a duo of cloud cards by Samantha: 

For this set of cards Samantha shows how you can use both the positive and negative shapes you get from the foil sheet! She started out by using a cloud stencil from Newton's Nook Designs and applied foil from Therm O Web using transfer gel. A sentiment stamp from Newton's Nook Designs finishes this lovely clean and simple card.

Next, she used the piece of foil that was left after the transfer. You can see it has the negative of the clouds, which also makes a super fun pattern! She created a second card using this! What a great way to use all of the foil! Full product list is below.

 Next, we have a sweet baby card by Tatiana:

For her project Tatiana created a sweet line of baby laundry using dies from Newton's Nook Designs with a cute foiled hearts added using toner card fronts from Therm O Web. She also added clouds using die cuts and a stencil from Newton's Nook Designs, adding flock using Therm O Web products. So cozy and cute! Full products are listed below.

Oh Baby! Card by Nakaba Rager

Oh Baby!

Today we are sharing a darling baby card by Naki! She combined the bib from our Baby Bib Die Set and the onesie from our Stitched Onesie Die Set to cut out adorable baby clothes from patterned paper. Both of these die sets also have stamp sets that coordinate with them (check our shop for the Bitty Bibs Stamp Set and the Loveable Laundry Stamp Set), but it's so fun to see how the dies can be easily used on their own to create a sweet baby card.

She layered the die cut onesie and bibs onto her card over a handmade rainbow of stripes, created from bits of paper in different colors. Along the bottom she added the "oh baby! sentiment by cutting letters our with our Essential Alphabet Die Set! 

This card would be so perfect to give to an expectant or new parent to celebrate their little one!

Design Team member Tatiana Trafimovich picked this beautiful and beachy card by Ishani. This card uses our Aloha Newton Stamp Set and Pawprints Stencil.

"I like the clean and simple style with a pop of bright summer colors that coordinates so well together. The coloring skills are also so amazing and bring to life the fun kitty stamps. It is so summery and fresh, it makes me want to go to the beach!"

Design Team member Zsofia Molnar picked this sweet baby card card by Anika Lerche. This card uses our Loveable Laundry Stamp Set and Stitched Onesie Die Set.

Welcome Baby Card by Samantha Mann

Welcome Baby Card

Today we are sharing the most adorable baby card by Samantha! She created a super cute clothesline of baby onesies by stamping images from our Loveable Laundry Stamp Set and coloring them in fun bright primary colors. Then she cut them out using the coordinating Stitched Onesie Die Set. For her card base, she stenciled some soft clouds onto a white background using our Cloudy Sky Stencil. Then she embossed the words "welcome baby" from the Loveable Laundry Stamp Set along the bottom in black. She attached one onesies by sewing them on with some thread and added little tiny strips of brown cardstock to look like clothespins! How cute is that!? She also added a touch of black and white washi tape up the side add a bit more fun!

Welcome Baby Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Welcome Baby!

This baby card by Ellen is so bright and cheery! The fun red and yellow color combo on this card is perfect if you don't know if the baby will be a boy or girl! She started out by creating that fun red background panel with distress ink and layered a star pattern over it using our Starfield Stencil with some embossing paste with glitter added in it!  Over this fun background she layered a tag and a fun yellow heart! She cut out the heart using our Darling Hearts Die Set and then added the yellow color with Distress ink and added some water splatters.

For the image, she used that cute onesie with the giraffe on it from our Loveable Laundry Stamp Set. She did some lovely vibrant coloring on the onesie and then trimmed it out using the coordinating Stitched Onesie Die Set. She added it to her card layering it with a paperclip shaped like a hanger. The finished it off with the "welcome" sentiment, also from the Loveable Laundry Stamp Set, embossed in white on a red banner. 

She added a bit of fun to the envelope too! The words "little" and "baby are from the Loveable Laundry Stamp Set and the word "Love" was die cut using the Darling Hearts Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs & Xyron Inspiration Week - Day 3 with Samantha & Maria

Today is day three of our inspiration week with Xyron! Each day we will have fresh inspiration using Newton's Nook Designs products with Xyron adhesives on the NND blog and Xyron will be featuring  projects as well on the Xyron facebook page! There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win!

Today we are featuring projects by Samantha and Maria! 

First we have an interchangeable magnetic card by Samantha: 

Samantha created a wonderful baby card with interchangeable onesies from our Loveable Laundry Stamp Set. She stamped the different baby onesie images, colored them beautifully and then trimmed them out using the coordinating Stitched Onesie Die Set. She added some magnets on the back using the Magnet Tape from Xyron and adhered one to the front of her card, layered over a vellum heart that she cut out using the Darling Hearts Die Set. 

She created a total of four sweet onesies, attaching the remaining 3 to the inside of the card! She finished off the card using the "Welcome Sweet Baby" sentiment, created using words from the Loveable Laundry Stamp Set, embossed with white embossing powder over black. She assembled the remaining pieces of her card using the Mega Runner from Xyron.

Our second project today is a cute Halloween card by Maria: 

Maria created this adorable Halloween card using the image of that cute kitty and his pumpkin from our Newton's Perfect Pumpkin Stamp Set. For her card she added some black clouds using our Sky Borders Die Set to frame the top and bottom. then she added in that little spider web and some bats over the orange background from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin Stamp Set! She assembled the card using the Teresa Collins Mega Runner from Xyron! What a fun treat for halloween!

Larissa created an adorable set of cupcake toppers using the onesies! The little yellow gingham paper she used is so cute too! Wouldn't these be so perfect for a baby shower!?

This fun baby boy card by Samantha is so sweet! She created her own background by stamping the onesies and words in light grey. The bright colored lion onesie really pops off that neutral background! 

Maria created some cute laundry on the clothesline with three of the onesies! Using both pink and blue makes this a great card to have on hand for when you need a baby card! She also added a fun grassy bottom using our Land Borders Die Set.

Ellen created this duo of baby cards, using the same layout but changing the colors to make one for a boy and one for a girl! How perfect!

Holly created this adorable baby card in shades of teal and green! The fun distress ink background goes perfectly with the baby theme! 

This sweet and simple baby card is by Jennifer! She used our Darling Hearts Die Set to cut out the heart and found a hanger just the right size to hang the onesie onto it! so cute!

These cute baby onesies are perfect for baby boy and girl cards. Just change out the colors like Juliana did on these two cards! She also added in the grass using our Land Borders Die Set and clouds using he new Sky Borders Die Set (revealed yesterday) to complete the scene!

This soft watercolors on this baby boy card by Tatiana are so lovely! She used the new Sky Borders Die Set (revealed yesterday) to create the fun scalloped edge.

Naki created this darling baby card with three of the onesies on a clothesline! It's so cute how she added ruffle to the onesie to make it sweet and girly! What a fun little baby card!
