Apple Baking Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Apple-solutely Wonderful!

Today Ellen has created an adorable apple themed card that is sure to make you smile!

This fun card features our new Autumn Apples Stamp Set, Fall Harvest Stamp Set along with the baking kitty from our Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set and the baking accessories from our Made from Scratch Stamp Set! What a fun combo of images! 

For the card base, she uses our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set to create the frames on the card. Scroll down for a few details from Ellen! 

Here are some tips from Ellen on how she created this adorable card:

• (Left photo above): I started by cutting the card base, folding it and stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder (using a heat tool and Versamark ink)
  
  
• (center photo above): Next I die cut a few elements from the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. The inside rectangles I die cut twice. Then I colored the first batch in a yellow orange. From the second batch of rectangles I cut them into hills using the Land Borders Die Set.
  
  
•  (right photo above): Next I did color all the illustrations from the Autumn Apples Stamp Set, Fall Harvest Stamp Set, Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set and Made from Scratch Stamp Set with my Copic markers.

Happy Mother's Day Card by Farhana Sarker

Bake Up a Mother's Day Greeting! 

Today we're sharing a fun Mother's Day card by Farhana. This card uses our Made from Scratch Stamp Set for a fun baking theme, perfect for a mom who loves to bake! 

She started out by stamping the blender, mixing bowl and other baking accessories from the Made from Scratch Stamp Set. She colored the images using copic markers in fun bright pastels. Then she ut the images out using the coordinating Made from Scratch Die Set. 

For her card she started with a white card base and then cut a pretty floral paper from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad to fit over the card front.  Before adhering the printed paper she used our Circle Frames Die Set to cut a large circle in the center of the panel. Then she arranged all the baking images along the bottom of the circle.  She added the sentiment "Happy Mother's Day" above all the baking images using our Mom & Dad Stamp Set.

Whisking You a Happy Birthday Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Bake a Birthday Wish!

Today Tatiana is whisking up a birthday wish on this adorable card! 

This sweet and tasty birthday card features baking themed images from our Made from Scratch Stamp Set. Tatiana stamped and colored the mixer, oven mitt, mixing bowl and accessories from the stamp set, coloring them in shades of pink and teal. For her card today she fussy cut the images out by hand, but if you don't like to hand cut, you could use our Made From Scratch Die Set to cut the images out. 

For her card background, Tatiana created a heart pattern using our Tumbling Hearts Stencil. This matches perfectly with the little hearts on all the kitchen items! So cute! The finishing touch is the sentiment "Whisking you a Happy Birthday," which she embossed in white on a piece of black cardstock and hand cut out to add to her card. 

If you know someone who likes to bake, or just has a sweet tooth, this would be the perfect card to send them!

Made from Scratch Card and Video by Tina Smith

Stir things Up!

Today we are excited to share the first post by our new Design Team member, Tina Smith! Tina is also a baker by trade so it's fitting that her first card features our Made From Scratch Stamp Set! She created a fun baking themed card by using a bunch of the images from this set and coloring them in lovely pink blue and green pastels with copic markers. Isn't it cute how she cut out three bowls to create a stack, cutting along the top of the bowl edge to layer them together!? She also used our Made From Scratch Die Set to cut out the images. 

Tina clustered all the baking goodies together to create a cozy kitchen scene. Then she added a polka dot pink background and a white table edge, adding the "Let's stir things up" sentiment, also from the Made From Scratch Stamp Set on the white bottom layer. She then framed the images using a scallop edged from die cut from our Framework Die Set.

Let's Stir Things Up Card by Holly Endress

Stir things up!  

Today we are sharing a fun baking themed card by Holly. She stamped the images of the mixer, bowl, measuring cup and rolling pin from our Made from Scratch Stamp Set. She colored the images with copics and added fun details, like texture on the rolling pin and little accents with a white gel pen. She trimmed the images out using the coordinating Made from Scratch Die Set. For her card, she cut a stitched edge rectangle using our Frames & Flags Die Set out of a fun baking themed patterned paper. Then she layered all the images over it,  adding the "let's stir things up" sentiment onto a banner that was also cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. This card would be fun to send to a friend who loves to bake!

The duo of baking kitties on this card by Juliana is so cute! She used the two kitties from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set, adding on chef hats to each of them. For the background she cut a postage edged panel using our Framework Die Set and stenciled some rays over it using the new Sunscape Stencil.  

Newton is so cute in his chef's outfit on this card by Larissa. She used the kitty from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set and layered him over a stitched rectangle panel that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She also used our Framework Die Set to created the postage edged panel in the background. 

Jennifer created this adorable card featuring the kitty kneading dough from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set. He's so cute over that fun orange background and the black and white paper accents the image perfectly! 

This yummy baking scene was created by Tatiana. She used the new Serene Stripes Stencil to created a fun textured background. Then she layered the image of the kitty kneading dough from the Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set over the top. She added in a bunch of additional baking images from the Made from Scratch Stamp Set to complete the scene! 

The trio of kitties on this card by Holly are having so much fun in the kitchen! She used the three kitty images from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set and colored them in fun bright colors. Then she layered them over three plaid circles for a fun card layout. The fun glitter dots give the perfect finishing touch!

This fun baking themed card was created by Maria. She used the fun new image of the kitty with the mixing bowl from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set. Then she added a bunch of fun baking images from the Made from Scratch Stamp Set inside the frame to go along with the kitty. For her background, she used the scallop edged frame from the Frames & Flags Die Set to dry emboss the fun edge. 

Amanda created a fun trio of kitties in the kitchen on this card. She used the three cat images from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set and framed layered them over fun bright colored rectangles. She added the sentiment into a fourth rectangle to complete the fun layout! 

Samantha created this "mew-licious" card! She used images from our Made from Scratch Stamp Set in light grey tones to create a fun baking themed background. Then she layered the kitty with the mixing bowl from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set over the top, along with sentiments stamped onto a black banner that was cut out using the Frames & Flags Die Set. 

Naki colored that cute kitty from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set in fun bright colors, adding cute polka dots to the scarf and hat. Then she layered the image over a series of fun patterned paper circles to complete her card! So fun!

Ellen created this adorable scene using two kitties from the new Newton's Kitchen Stamp Set baking together! Isn't the added red chef's hat so cute? She  used our Sky Borders Die Set to create a fun scalloped border and carefully inked red stripes on the scallops! For the card base she used our Frames & Flags Die Set to create the scalloped lime green rectangle.

Bake up a Happy Birthday!

Get on your apron and whisk someone a Happy Birthday with this adorable card by Amanda! She stamped all those cute baking tools using our Made from Scratch Stamp Set stamp set and trimmed them all out with the coordinating Made from Scratch Die Set. Her coloring of the images is gorgeous too with fun vintage shades of teal and red! She added all those cute little elements to her card. She also added the bigger sentiment on a piece of black cardstock to look like a little chalkboard! So cute! What a delicious way to send birthday wishes!
