Birthday Brew for You Card by Farhana Sarker

Birthday Brew! 

Today Farhana has created a warm birthday wish on this yummy card!

She stamped and colored a series of adorable mugs from our Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set in soft yummy colors. Then she cut them out using the coordinating Cup of Cocoa Die Set. 

For her card base she started with a white card base. She choose a green polka dot and a red stripe patterned paper from our Canine Christmas Paper Pad and cut a piece to fit across her white card base. She adhered these to the inside of the card. Then she trimmed the card front half way down the center so the paper shows through to the front. She added the mugs along the bottom of the front card flap, neatly lined up in a row and overhanging the pretty paper. She also added the sentiment "Sending you a Birthday Brew" to front from our Time for Coffee Stamp Set. 

When you open the card the coffee cups lift with the card front and you will see a second sentiment, also from the Time for Coffee Stamp Set, stamped above the paper on the inside of the card! What a fun way to create a fun and unique card layout!

Peace & Joy Card by Maria Russell

Peace & Joy

Today Maria has created a a gorgeous holiday card using our new Holiday products!

To start out she stenciled two rows of trees using our new Christmas Tree Line Stencil. She overlapped the rows so it looks just like a forest of trees. Then she used the same stencil to add the decorations with a fun glittery texture paste. 

She used our Framework Die Set to cut a scallop edged frame from gold paper to layer behind the image of trees. She added gold stars to the tree tops using stickers from her stash. She also cut the words "peace & joy" using the bonus die cuts from our  Christmas Nap Die Set. She used gold paper for these too to add even more sparkle! Then she finished the card by adding a pretty snowflake background using a patterned paper from our Christmas Time Paper Pad.

Special Delivery Card Set by Tina Herbeck

Special Delivery!

Today Tina shares how to take a holiday set and stretch it forward to Valentine's Day! She used the cute little scottie dog holding a letter from our Canine Christmas Stamp Set and colored him with copics, using shades of white and pink for the letter and his sweater! She then created a gorgeous glittery heart background using our Tumbling Hearts Stencil with some glittery texture paste! The stenciled panel and the patterned paper panel behind it were both cut our using our Framework Die Set. To finish it off, she added the sentiment "special delivery" from our Newton's Happy Mail Stamp Set.

 First up we have this adorable HOWL-iday card by Samantha:

It's never to early to start creating Holiday cards! Samantha created this cute holiday scene using the Basset Hound from our Canine Christmas Stamp Set! She created a light up spot behind his red nose to make him look like Rudolph using the Chibitronics Starter Kit! How cute! She also added some lights in the fun distress inked sky! The tiny little Santa image is masked off from an image in our Newton's Curious Christmas Stamp Set! When you press in the bottom corner of the card they all light up!

Our second project today is a gorgeous Space Scene by Juliana:

Juliana used her Chibitronics Starter Kit along to create a fun space scene!  She colored the cute image of the kitty in a space suit from the Cosmic Newton Stamp Set and trimmed him out using the coordinating Cosmic Newton Die Set. Then she created an awesome starry background for him using our distress inks along with our Starfield Stencil! She added a fun cloud along the bottom using our Sky Borders Die Set and added the "Never Stop Dreaming" sentiment from the Cosmic Newton Stamp Set!  Some of those stars in the sky light up too - make sure you pop over to her blog to see more photos!

Several of our Design Team Members decided to play along - check out all the awesome PLAID cards they created! Read the description below each card to see who made it.

Samantha created a plaid background for her card using masks and inks! So cool! She created the city using images from the Newton Dreams of New York  and Newton Dreams of London stamp sets and the sleigh and sentiment are from the Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set. 

Larissa created a sweet little shaker card with a fun plaid border! She used images from the Bushels of Love stamp set (Simon Says Stamp Exclusive). Adorable!

Naki created a fun fall thank you card using plaid paper and letters! She added in pumpkins cut out with the Pick-a-Pumpkin Die Set. That stitched ribbon is so pretty too!

Yuki created a duo of adorable dog cards using dogs from our Canine Christmas stamp set with fun plaid backgrounds. The color combo on these cards of black, red, kraft and white is one of my favorites for Holiday cards!

Danielle added plaid paper in fall colors to create this fun card! The angles of paper in the background are so fun! Winston from the Winston's Birthday stamp set really pops off the card! 

I pulled out one of my favorite christmas images, Winston driving a car laden with holiday goodies from the Winston's Home for Christmas Stamp Set. I colored the image with watercolors and then added plaid paper along with some black chalkboard style washi tape. I finished it off with the sentiment "have a beary merry christmas" embossed in white on a black circle.

Happy Howl-idays Card by Crafty Math Chick

Happy HOWL-idays!!

Awww! All the dog lovers today would LOVE to get this card by Crafty Math-Chick in the mail! She used the cute labrador dog from the Fetching Friendship stamp set and gave him a sweet little santa hat to dress him up for the holidays! She also used the "Happy Howl-idays" sentiment form our Holiday-themed dog set, the Canine Christmas! I love how she added some fun holly paper too! So adorable!

All the puppy lovers out there will love this sweet holiday card by Yukari using our Canine Christmas stamp set! I love her color combo of neutrals with the pops of forest green and red! That scottie dog is so sweet bring you some happy mail for the holidays! I love the way she colored him to match her papers. So pretty! This stamp set has a bunch of different dog images so make sure you check it out if you like dogs!

Jess created this adorable card using our Sweetheart Tails stamp set with the sentiment fromWinston's Home for Christmas . I love that she used a "love/Valentine" set and made it work for Christmas! What a great way to get more milage out of your stamps!

Samantha created this lovely watercolored Christmas card using the cute kitty in the wreath from the Newton's Holiday Mischief set. The "merry"& "Christmas" stamps are the Holiday Wishes stamp set. 

Crafty Math-Chick created this fun doggie Holiday Treat Bag using the cute pup in sweater from the Canine Christmas stamp set! So cute how she matched the sweater on the pup with the background paper!  

Here's one by me - I used the girl and guy snowmen from the Flaky Family set - stamped on Kraft colored card stock so I could color them white. I also added a bunch of snowflakes in white ink and the "Merry Christmas from our Family to yours" sentiment!

Three Canine Christmas Cards

Today I'm featuring the Canine Christmas Stamp set! 

I realized that Christmas is FAST approaching and I haven't had a chance to share all my cards that I made using our Canine Christmas stamp set so I thought today would be a fun day to do just that!

Happy Howl-idays

For the first card I chose the color the cute little basset hound stamp with my copic markers. Then I created a fun little strip of bones using brown ink on Kraft colored paper! Then to add a little fun pattern to the card I added some little flags from patterned paper and a button! Then I finished it off with the "Happy Howl-idays" sentiment! I love how the sentiment is so cheerful but the doggie looks a little bored. Reminds me a bit of eeyore... I picture him being annoyed that he's wearing those antlers!

Santa Paws Tag Card

For the next card, I colored the little Chihuahua doggie in the santa hat and cut him out to make a big tag! I cut out a little circle from Kraft colored card stock and used it on the tag top for a bit of added interest - sort of like a packing tag. Then I created a simple background with two patterns - one is a candy stripe from some misc. patterned paper I had lying around and the other I created by stamping paws all over the card stock with brown ink. I love how you can use stamps to create your own background patterns!  I also sponged the edges of the tag with some distress ink and then added it on with some fun kraft/red bakers twine. 

Snowy Sweater Card 

For this one I wanted to create a snowy scene for the puppy to sit in so I colored him on the white cardstock and then I paper pierced a sweater for him from a plaid paper scrap. Then I added some kraft colored snowflakes and a snowbank from a piece of torn cardstock. Then to balance out the colors I added some red polka dot paper and a piece of that kraft/red twine. Love how this one turned out!

A Bit of Canine Christmas

Just because any post without photos is boring, thought I'd throw in a little inspiration using the Canine Christmas Stamp set. This time I added in a bit of pink - kind of a sweet, girly Christmas card!  The doggie is colored with copics and then cut him out with some circle dies and made a pink frame with a coordinating scallop circle die. 

Here's a close-up - Isn't that puppy cute, I love how he's showing off his little sweater!
