Hi everyone! It’s Rosie and I am sharing a few Halloween Cards highlighting the Trick or Treat Puppy Stamp Set. I always color the puppies a tan color to resemble my dog, Salem. He is always up for doing tricks for treats! I stamped, colored and die cut all the puppies twice. This left with lots of little puppy dogs to create with. Then I pulled out my Minc machine and used holographic foil with the spider web print from the Spooky Halloween Toner Card Fronts. I also used the negative foil on a solid black toner card front. I really loved the foil backgrounds and didn't want to cover much of it up so I pulled out the Framework Die Set and Flames & Flags Die Set. I cut one of the inside scallop dies from black cardstock and matted that on heavy-weight vellum. Then I die cut another vellum piece from a stitched rounded rectangle die. These two die sets are by far, my most used die sets. 

I white heat embossed the two sentiments on black cardstock and then also stamped on white cardstock. I wasn't sure of my design so I just stamped both. Then I layered everything together and used the same die set to die cut the sentiments. Since I used vellum, I used a tape runner and foam tape to adhere everything together. 

Bonus Card: 

It wouldn't be a Rosie post without a bonus card! For this card I ink blended a background panel using a few pink/purple/blue Reactive Inks. I splattered with a shimmer spray and white acrylic to look like a night sky. I die cut the Spooky Sky Die Set and ink blended for dimension. I also die cut the Haunted House Die Set and added vellum behind the windows and popped it up with thin foam tape. I fussy cut the clack cardstock hill for the house to sit on. I white heat embossed the sentiment directly on the ink blended panel. Everything was layered together and I finished the card with two cute Trick or Treat puppies.

Hello, Fall Card by Larissa Heskett

Fall Favorites Card!

Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today to share a BEAUTIFUL hello, fall card using several of my FAVORITE Fall Images to create a fall scene that is SURE to make the recipient SMILE!! Especially if they are like me and fall is their FAVORITE season!!

Spring Blooms Paper Pad

I started by stamping and embossing the Harvest Haul image and Autumn Fields images (Crows, Leaves and Pumpkins) using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!!
Then I colored them with Copic Markers!!

Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49      
Brown: E30, E33 & E37
Red: R00, R14 & R37   
Yellow: Y11, Y15 & YR23     
Black: N3, N5 & N8  
Grey: N0 & N3
Orange: YR00, YR18, YR68   
Coral: R00, R11 & R32
Green: YG61, YG63 & YG67
Then I used the coordinating Harvest Haul Die Set and Autumn Fields Die Set to die cut the images out!! I added some white gel pen highlights!!

I die cut the card panel from some of the Spring Blooms Paper Pad using the Basic Frames Die Set and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint splatters!! Next, I die cut some turquoise cardstock using the Frames & Flags Die Set to create the stitched oval from some white cardstock using the Oval Frames Die Set and inked with some Salvaged Patina and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks!! 

 

Next, I stamped and embossed the "Hello Fall" sentiment banner!! I die cut the banner from some black cardstock using the Banner Trio Die Set and then I stamped the sentiment from the Fall Friends Stamp Set in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and embossed it with WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! Then I layered the images to create my scene in the center of the stitched oval die cut!!
I used some foam tape on some of the mages to add some dimension and then I adhered the banner sentiment to the bottom of the scene using more foam tape for some dimension!!

I LOVE how this came together, and I hope it INSPIRES you to create some fall scene cards for your next project!!

Today we are sharing this perfectly purple birthday card by Diane!

Hello Newton’s Nook Fans!

Let us take this sentiment stamp and turn it into a delightful background.

This card starts off with a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ panel of card stock.

I then selected the stamps that I wanted to use from Birthday Greetings Stamp Set and lined up the stamps on my stamping block.
I used the back of the cardstock panel to do my test stamping.
This helps me to figure the color of ink that goes best with the card stock that I chose.

Also to work out the pattern that I want to stamp out.

For this color cardstock, Shaded Lilac Distress Distress Oxide looks the best.

 

Now it is time to stamp and create a pattern all the way down my cardstock panel.

I usually go 1/4 way down the paper, then stop and dry the ink.

This prevents me from accidentally smearing the freshly stamped ink on my hand.

Once your panel is complete, it is important to either let your ink dry or make it dry.

Next, I cut out the pieces of my cake with the new Cake Builder Die Set and colored my cake and pedestal in with alcohol markers. This is a quick and effortless way to get color on your die cuts.

Now that all the pieces of my card are ready to go, it is time to assemble.

For my card front and card base I use the Frames & Flags Die Set.

Once everything was cut out and assembled together, I added silver and white paint splatters to add interest to the background.

I also use the scallop circle from the Circle Frames Die Set.

After placing the scallop on the front of my card, I added on my cake and pedestal.

I used my Posca markers to add a bit of detail on the cake and pedestal.

The last thing to add to my card was the candles at the top.

Summer Coffee House Cards!

Hello crafty friends! It’s Rosie and I’m back with another project. My inspiration for this set of cards was a summer coffee house on the beach. I used some muted neutrals and jewel tones with the Coffee Delights Stamp & Die Set. I started my project as I do most of my projects, by stamping out the images a couple times and then choosing a color theme and coloring everything. I like to multi stamp images so I can experiment with marker colors a bit and if I mess up my coloring, I am not stressed about it. After I color and die cut, I find coordinating pattern and solid paper. This time I used the Natural Basics Paper Pad.

 

I am really loving the Frames & Flags Die Set. It has phenomenal dies for layering and I reach for it all the time. This first set of cards is simply layers of pattern paper and cardstock. The Frames & Flags Die Set gives the coffee cups image a nice "stage" to sit on.
The next set is similar but I pulled in a little more of the muted mauve color. Again, I used that Frames & Flags Die Set with the same paper pack. I did add a heart and some brown splatter on the scalloped card but the coffee cups are the focal point.

And because I can't throw anything away, I had these two tiny coffee cups and the coffee beans left so I made them the star of the show using the Card Layout 6 Die Set. This is another card front panel die called the Corner Flip Die Set and that makes putting together a card quick and easy. The Natural Basics Paper Pad is two sided so the flipped edge looks just as good as the front. 

I hope you enjoyed all the inspiration in my post today. If you have not noticed by now, I love to mass produce cards. I use all the bits and pieces and don't like to 'save them for later'. Bits and pieces make the best clean and simple cards and always become my favorite projects of the card making session.
