Custom Holiday Envelopes by Tatiana Trafimovich

Custom Holiday Envelopes by Tatiana Trafimovich | Newton's Happy Mail Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Make the Envelope Special!

After you've spent al that time making the perfect holiday card, don't forget to make the envelope special too! Today Tatiana is sharing a trio of fun custom envelopes she created featuring our Newton's Happy Mail Stamp Set. She created her own envelopes using Bristol paper and then stamped the Kitty in the mailbox from the Newton's Happy Mail Stamp Set on the front. She used some creative masking to add on the snow shovel in front of the mailbox from our Frozen Friends Stamp Set. She also masked the corner of the cats head to add a Santa hat onto him using the hat from the Newton's Holiday Mischief Stamp Set.  Isn't it fun how a little creative masking can turn any set into a Holiday one!? The holly on the mailbox is also from the Newton's Holiday Mischief Stamp Set. So cute!

Once the images were all masked and stamped, she used zig clean color watercolor markers to color them. For the first one she added several colors but she also created a version using just grey and red and one that's completely black and white! Depending on how much time you have, you could keep them really simple!

Baby, It's Cold Outside Card by November Guest Designer Gladys Marcelino

Happy Monday everyone! Gladys here and I'm back with another holiday card using Frozen Friends stamp set again. This set has several snowman images and I couldn't help but use these two snowman cuddling each other. Aren't they just adorable?

Baby, It's Cold Outside Card by November Guest Designer Gladys Marcelino | Frozen Friends Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnookFor my background I distressed it with dusty concord and shaded lilac. I blended the inks in an ombre effect, dark at the top and softer gradient towards the bottom of the card panel. I let my panel dry completely then I randomly stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink. I poured white embossing powder then heat embossed it with my heat tool until the powder melted. I also heat embossed the sentiment. The snowman were colored with copic markers. Lastly, for embellishments I added the iridescent snowflake sequins which looks really pretty against the purple background.

That is all from me today. I hope you like it. Thanks for reading! Have an awesome Monday!!

Snowman Card by November Guest Designer Gladys Marcelino

Hello everyone! It's Gladys and I'm back to share a holiday card with you. I used the Frozen Friends stamp set and here's what my card looks like:

Snowman Card by November Guest Designer Gladys Marcelino | Frozen Friends Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

I used a watercolor cardstock for my card panel. First I die cut the scallop frame on the center then randomly stamped the small images using Memento tuxedo black ink. I stamped the adorable snowman image onto the circle of the scallop frame then colored all the images with copic markers.

After coloring all the images I decided to watercolor around them with tumbled glass distress ink. I thought there was too much white space so adding the blue really made the images pop. I stamped the sentiment onto a banner die cut and adhered it below the snowman. That completes my card for today.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back with more so be sure to stop by next week Monday. Have a great week!

Snowman & Fox Card by Kimberly Rendino

Sneaky Fox Card by Kimberly Rendino | Fox Hollow and Frozen Friends stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Cute Snowy Scene by Kimberly!

This card by Kimberly will totally make you smile! Isn't it adorable how she has the fox holding the arm from the snowman? Do you think he's helping build the snowman or stealing his arm? Either way, it's adorable!! She used the snowman image from the Frozen Friends stamp set and the fox image from our Fox Hollow stamp set. The puffy snow underneath the two characters and the shovel adds such a fun touch. I also love the "cold twigs, warm hearts" sentiment stamped onto the little banner! Such a fun winter scene!

Thanks, Kimberly for the awesome card today! You can head over to her blog, Kimplete Kreativity to see more of Kimberly's fun creations!

Heartfelt Snowman card by Larissa Heskett!

Heartfelt Snowman card by Larissa Heskett | Frozen Friends Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs

Snowman Love

Here's a fun way to use your snowman set for something other than a Holiday card!  Larissa Heskett used our cute snowman from the Frozen Friends stamp set inside a big heart cut-out to create this adorable card! I love the bright colors she used and the cute glittery snowflakes she added inside the heart shape.  She also also used the "heartfelt" from the Simply Sentimental set.  This would be a great card to send as a thank you for some christmas gifts - or even as a valentine!

Here's a close-up of the heart:
