Recycled Gift Box by Ellen Haxelmans

A Special gift for mom!

Today Ellen has created fun and unique gift box as a special gift for mom!

To create this box, she simply carefully took apart a box with printing on it and turned it inside out to use the blank inside as the outside. She then decorated it, using our Trailing Leaves Stencil to add pretty pink leaves all over the front. She then used dies from our  Flower Trio Die Set (retiring), Frames Squared Die Set and Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to create the fun center image on the box. 

Last, she added a tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set and Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She stamped the "to my mom" using our Best Mom Oval Stamp Set to decorate the tag. 

What a fun way to make a special customized box! You don't need a special die set, just use what you have on hand and get creative!

Newton's Stocking Gift Bag and Tag by Larissa Heskett

Stocking Kitty for Christmas!

Larissa has created an adorable gift tag and bag that is sure to help make a holiday gift feel special! 

To create this beautiful gift, she started out by stamping and coloring the image of the kitty in the stocking from our Newton's Stocking Stamp Set. She added some amazing details to her coloring with shading, stripes on the kitty and white gel pen accents. She cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Stocking Die Set and added a little pom pom to the Santa hat.  She also adorned the stocking, adding a sprig of holly stamped from our A Kitten Christmas Stamp Set with a heart embellishment to replace the berries!

She added this fun image to a tag that was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She added a little circle tag to the larger tag using our Jolly Tags Stamp Set (cut out with the coordinating Tags Times Two Die Set). She embellished the top of the tag using a bunch of pretty ribbons! She also used patterned papers from our Canine Christmas Paper Pad and our Christmas Time Paper Pad. 

What a gorgeous Holiday creation! The recipient of this gift is sure to be wowed!

Thank You Floral Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

A Fun Floral Thank You! 

Today we are sharing a thank you card filled with gorgeous florals by Tatiana!

For this card,  she created a whole field of pretty flowers using our Dainty Daisies Stamp Set. She stamped and colored the image of the daisies three times, coloring them in shades of red with bright green stems. She also added white splatters to give the flowers an extra bit of texture. She used the coordinating Dainty Daisies Die Set to cut the images out and then layered them across the front of her card, trimming off any excess parts that went beyond the card edge.

For the sentiment she cut out a gray tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set and embossed "thank you" from our Signs of Fall Stamp Set inside of it. A bit of metallic string on the tag adds a little sparkle along with some iridescent sequins around the flowers.

Snow Angel Gift Tags by Larissa Heskett

Snow Angel Tags 

Today we are sharing and fun set of snow angel tags by Larissa that are sure to dress up any gift!

To create these fun gift tags she started by stamping the cute puppy and kitty snow angels from our Snow Angel Puppy Stamp Set and our Snow Angel Newton Stamp Set. She colored the images beautifully, using neutral browns and grays for their fur and added fun teal and purples for their hats and scarves! So cute! She also added pink cheeks and little dot details and highlights using a white gel pen!

To make these cuties into tags she used the coordinating Snow Angel Puppy Die Set and Snow Angel Newton Die Set to cut the images out. Then she cut a second set of each snow angel, using the same die shape. This time she cut it from piece of white paper that was folded in half and set that lower inside the die when she cut it out. This creates a shape that matches up with the front shape and creates a tag that opens! How cool! 

Here is the Puppy version with the tag opened up. She added the "Merry Christmas" sentiment inside the tag using our Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set. So adorable! 

She also used the fun bold snowflake from our Jolly Tags Stamp Set and made it into a little round tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set.

And here is the kitty version with the tag opened up. On this one she stamped "Warm Holiday Wishes" inside the tag using our Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set. 

How fun are these custom shaped tags!? You could do this with many of our die sets to create special tags for your holiday gifts this year!

The Happiest of Holiday Wishes Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Happiest of Holidays! 

Today Tatiana has created a fun holiday card filled with bold images! She created this fabulous card by using the little snowflake tag stamp from our Jolly Tags Stamp Set. She stamped the image multiple times in colored inks and then used the coordinating Tags Times Two Die Set to cut the images out. 

For the card base, she created a bold tree background pattern using our Tiny Trees Stencil. Then she layered the tag images over the background, lining them up in rows. For the sentiment she used words from our Main Street Christmas Stamp Set, embossing them in white onto black strips of paper and placing them between the rows of tags! To add some extra special finishing details she added sequins and bits of silver twine to some of the tags! What a fun way to make a simple card feel special!

Congratulations Gift Bag with Lilies by Larissa Heskett

Lovely Lilies for a Congratulation Gift!

Today Larissa has created a gorgeous gift bag that is perfect for celebrating a special day! She used the beautiful image of lilies from our new Easter Lily Stamp Set and colored them in simple tones, leaving the lilies white but adding yellow to the centers and green to the leaves. She used the coordinating Easter Lily Die Set to cut out the image and layered it onto a tag that was cut out using our Tags Times Two Die Set. She added some splatters of blue onto the tag that really help the lilies pop! She stamped the "congratulations" sentiment from our Bitty Bibs Stamp Set and layered it over the image. She finishes off the little gift tote by adding a cluster of blue and gold decorative ribbons to the top!

Isn't this such a fun way to dress up a little gift? The recipient would definitely feel very special to receive this!

Advent Calendar by Nakaba Rager

Countdown to Christmas!

With December just around the corner it's nearly time to get out the advent calendars and countdown to Christmas! Today Naki created her own custom advent calendar using a bunch of NND products! She started by cutting out 24 tags using our Tags Times Two Die Set. Then she used the numbers from our Essential Alphabet Die Set and added those on.

Then she cut 24 pieces of kraft cardstock and added images for each day from some of her favorite NND holiday stamp sets. She embossed each one with white embossing powder. Then she pinned them all onto striped message board. The effect is subtle, but stunning!

Here's a close-up so you can see some of the details better. Aren't those houses along the bottom from our Main Street Christmas Stamp Set so cool across the three tags!?

And one more image from the other side! The mice from The Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set  are perfect for this project and the tag with the reindeer names from our Reindeer Roll Call Stamp Set is so fun!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Today we are excited to be part of the 8th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely. Today is only Day 5 of this awesome feature so make sure you visit her blog each day to see all 25 days! Today she's featuring the Newton's Nook Design Team on her blog so make sure you head over there to see some more beautiful tags using NND products!

I created TWO fun sets of tags to play along!
Here is the first set:

For this fun duo of tags I featured the cute images from our  Newton's Holiday Mischief Stamp Set. This is the first Christmas Set we created featuring Newton and I haven't played with it in awhile so it was really fun to pull it out and color the images again! I colored the kitties using copic markers and added a bit of Wink of Stella glitter to them. Then I cut them out using the coordinating Newton's Holiday Mischief Die Set. Aren't they so cute!?

For the tag shapes I used our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set to cut out the fun layered tags. This die set is super fun because it includes little mini borders that you can use to make custom tag shapes. I used the big and little scallops to create layers that dress up the tags. Then I finished out the tags by adding die cut words along the bottom using our new Holiday Greetings Die Set.

I had so much fun mixing old and new products to create these tags!

For my second set of tags I created a duo of Ornament Shaped Tags:

For these tags I used our new Ornament Shaker Die Set to die cut out the ornament shapes from red and green patterned papers to create fun little shakers. I also used our double sided adhesive foam and acetate sheets to cut out the dimensional border and clear front for the shakers. 

Inside the shaker shapes there are sentiments that are embossed using images from our Ornamental Wishes Stamp Set. This set was designed to work with the Ornament Shaker Die Set so all of the sentiments in the set will fit inside the ornament shape! Inside each shaker there are some little die cut confetti tree and star shapes that were cut out using the confetti dies from Ornament Shaker Die Set and a few sparkly sequins too.

I finished off the shakers by adding a little round tag tied to the top. This tag was cut out using our Tags Times Two Die Set and the "to" and "from" are stamped from the Joyful Tags Stamp Set.

Uncork and Unwind! This vibrant card by Samantha features the wine images from the new Wine A Little Stamp Set. I love how she created a puddle of purple watercolor underneath the images and a teal pop of watercolor across the top! 

Tatiana created a fabulous watercolored card using the new little Coffee & Wine Stamp Set. She used all the smaller images in the set to create a fun background pattern and loosely watercolored over them. Then she used the big sentiment embossed in white on a black circle in the center! So stunning! 

Larissa created this wonderful tabletop scene using the wine glasses, bottles, corkscrew and corks from the new Wine A Little Stamp Set. She also added in the grapes and smaller wine bottle from the Coffee & Wine Stamp Set, fussy cutting out the images. For the background she created a subtle striped wallpaper using the serene Stripes Stencil. 

This fun interactive card was created by Naki. She used the bottle and cord from the new WWine A Little Stamp Set and created a slider above the bottle so you can "uncork" it. So fun! She also added in some grapes from the Coffee & Wine Stamp Set and a fun striped background using the Serene Stripes Stencil. The fun postage edged border was cut out using the Framework Die Set.

This elegant wine themed card was created by Maria. She used the big sentiment from the Coffee & Wine Stamp Set in the center, accenting it with square frames and then filled the background the smaller images from the set. The vibrant colors really makes those little images pop! 

This gorgeous wine themed card was created by Juliana. She stamped the images from the Wine A Little Stamp Set and cut them out with their coordinating die set to layer them onto a black tag. The tag was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She also used our Bubbly Stencil to create a fun bubble background panel. 

This wine card by Holly is so stunning! She stamped the wine images from the Wine A Little Stamp Set and colored them in shades of grey for her background. The one vibrant bottle and glass of wine really pop over that grey background. 

The colors on this card by Amanda are so gorgeous and vibrant! She used the big sentiment from our little Coffee & Wine Stamp Set and surrounded it by the smaller images in the set. What a fun way to create a simple, yet stunning layout! 

This celebratory tag by Ellen would be perfect to add onto a gifted bottle of wine! She created the tag using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set (making the tag longer), and added a fun bubbly background using our Bubbly Stencil. Then she layered the wine images over the top from the new Wine A Little Stamp Set. She also added the "cheers" die cut from the Cocktail Mixer Die Set. So fun and festive!

This sweet and simple card by Jennifer lets the sentiment steal the show. She stamped the sentiment from the Coffee & Wine Stamp Set over lovely striped background that was created using the new Serene Stripes Stencil. Then she added on the little cup of coffee and bottle of wine to pair perfectly with the sentiment! So simple and fun!
