The Perfect Mix Valentine Card by Amanda Wilcox

Send a Perfect Mix for Valentine's Day!

Amanda is back today with some Valentine inspiration. This sweet card features our Love Quarry Stamp Set and Valentine Word Trio Die Set along with some fun stenciling! 

Amanda stamped and colored the cement mixer truck from our Love Quarry Stamp Set choosing a color palette of red, pink and teal. She also stamped and colored a duo of construction cones using the same colors. She cut the images out using the coordinating Love Quarry Die Set and added some glossy effect to the images for a to add a bit of shine. 

She cut out the banner with the XOXO from our Valentine Word Trio Die Set in three colors (red, pink and white). She used the pink banner base and inserted the red and white letters back in. Then she added the truck and cones to the top of the banner. So fun! 

NOTE: the Valentine Word Trio Die Set is currently out of stock but we have more on the way so make sure to sign up to be notified when it's back in stock on the Valentine Word Trio Die Set product page. 

For the background she used our Bokeh Hearts Stencil Set and our Petite Hearts Stencil. She started with a teal cardstock panel and used the two piece Bokeh Hearts stencil, adding teal ink over both stencil layers. This created a nice tone-on-tone effect. Then she applied more hearts using the Petite Hearts Stencil with white texture paste. The teal cardstock panel was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

She assembled the card together, using dimensional adhesive and layering it over a white scalloped background pane that was also cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Loads of Love Card by Samantha Mann

Loads of Love!

It's a new year and we are ready to spread some love! Today Samantha created a love filled card using our Love Quarry and Valentine Postage Sampler stamp sets paired together! 

To start, she stamped the three construction trucks along with the construction cones from the Love Quarry Stamp Set and colored them in yellow and gray with a pop of pink! She cut them out with the coordinating Love Quarry Die Set. She decided to add a bit more fun by adding in the images of the speech bubbles with hearts and the heart balloons from our Valentine Postage Sampler Stamp Set, coloring them to match and cutting them out with the coordinating Valentine Postage Sampler Die Set. She also added some fun white accents to her images with a white gel pen . 

Next, she cut out the frame with three windows using the Frames & Taags Die Set with pink cardstock. She created a subtle heart background to layer behind the frame using our Petite Hearts Stencil with white texture paste onto the white stitched cut outs. The she added piles of dirt by cutting out hills using the cloud edge from our Sky Borders Die Set and flipping it upside down. She added white and brown paint splatters to her piles of dirt to help give texture. 

She then layered on the construction vehicles. It's so cute how she added the speech bubbles above the cement truck and the big heart balloons behind the dump truck! 

Last she added the sentiment, also from the Love Quarry Stamp Set, embossed in white on a black rectangle. 

We LOVE how all of these elements come together. This card would be perfect for Valentine's Day or just to send a bit of extra love any time of year!

Heart Shaped Tags by Amanda Wilcox

A Trio of Love!

Today Amanda has created a trio of adorable tags, perfect for adorning a Valentine treat!

Each of these tags was created by cutting out the big heart using our Heart Frames Die Set. She cut hearts from pink, red and purple and then added a heart pattern onto the front of each of them using our Petite Hearts Stencil. She used a coordinating color to give a tone on tone look. She layered a  smaller scallop edged heart onto each larger heart, cut using Heart Frames Die Set.

Each tag was then adorned with an adorable love themed image, stamped from our Valentine Postage Sampler Stamp Set. She colored the images in colors to match the hearts and added some sparkle and gloss to them too. 

She also added small words from the Valentine Postage Sampler Stamp Set onto each small white heart. The tags were assembled and she added some enamel dots and burlap string. 

Now they're ready to add onto your favorite Valentine treat! What a fun way to make someone feel special.

Lucky Dog Card by Amanda Wilcox

Lucky Dog!

Today we are sharing an adorable dog themed card by Amanda.

This fun card features the puppy holding a four leaf clover from our Lucky Dog Stamp Set. She colored the image in neutral colors and added the fun pop of green on the clover. She also added sparkle to the clover and gloss to the nose on the dog. So cute! She cut this image out along with the little hearts using the coordinating Lucky Dog Die Set. 

For her card, she ink blended two background shapes. She used our Basketweave Stencil with brown ink on brown paper. She also added gold paint splatters to the brown paper and cut it out into a heart shape using our Heart Frames Die Set. For the second pattern she used our Petite Hearts Stencil with pale pink ink on a light pink paper. She cut the heart pattern out using the stitched square die from our Frames Squared Die Set. She also cut out a black decorative square shape using the Frames Squared Die Set. She layered all of the die cut shapes and added the puppy to the front. She also added the message "lucky dog" onto a small circle shape that was cut out using the Frames Squared Die Set.

This is such a fun and unique card layout, don't you think? All the layers and patterns really add so much interest and detail!

From Meow to You Card by Ellen Haxelmans

From Meow to You!

Today Ellen has created a kitty themed card that is perfect for spring!

This card features that cute kitty popping out of the box from our Newton's Gift Stamp Set. This fun design features a blank tag on the front of the gift box, making it easy to customize the image for any occasion! Although many of the sentiments are holiday themed, Ellen choose "from MEOW to you" and colored the image in spring colors for this card today!

She framed the image of the kitty with two layers of circles that were cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set. For the scalloped circle she used a pretty plaid print from our Love & Chocolate Paper Pad and for the stitched circle she added blue ink blending and tiny blue hearts using our Petite Hearts Stencil. She also added grass using our Land Borders Die Set and the frog and insects from our Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set and Newton's Blooms Stamp Set to set the scene.  Then she layered everything over a green background, stenciled with tiny paw prints using our Petite Paw Prints Stencil. So cute!

I Loaf You Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

A LOAF of Kitty Love!

Today we are sharing an adorable kitty card by Tatiana that is perfect for sending a loaf of love to any cat lover! 

To create this fun card she started with the cute image of the kitten wearing a slice of bread from our Knead Kittens Stamp Set. This fun image makes us smile every time we see it! She colored the kitty in shades of gray and added toasty browns to the bread. She cut the image out using the coordinating Knead Kittens Die Set. She also added that cute little speech bubble with a heart inside it from our Never Enough Cats Stamp Set for a bit of extra fun. 

For her card layout she created two stenciled panels using our Petite Paw Prints Stencil and Petite Hearts stencil with white texture paste on gray and pink papers. These two petite patterns pair so perfectly together! She cut a circle from the pink panel using our Circle Frames Die Set and layered the kitty image on top of that. Then she layered the paw prints behind both.  She added the sentiment "I LOAF you" from the Knead Kittens Stamp Set, embossed on a dark pink banner and added some heart and gem embellishments as finishing touches. 

This card would be purr-fect to send to a cat lover for a fun Valentine greeting but could also be used any time of year to send a bit of love!

Happy Birthday with Sprinkles on Top Card by Farhana Sarker

Birthday Sprinkles! 

Sprinkles make every birthday treat better! Today we're sharing a card by Farhana that features ice cream treats, complete with sprinkles, for a tasty birthday wish!

She started out this yummy card by stamping and coloring all the ice cream images from our Summer Scoops Stamp Set. This stamp set has so many tasty ice cream treats it will be hard to choose a favorite. The best thing to do is stamp a bunch of them like Farhana did! She colored them in fun bright pastels and used the coordinating Summer Scoops Die Set to cut the images out. Here is a peek at her copic color choices if you are interested:

Since the ice cream images are so colorful, she kept the background simple with just a texture of hearts. To create this texture she used our Petite Hearts Stencil, dry embossing it by running it through her die cutting machine to press it into the cardstock. So pretty! 

Next, she cut out a banner using our Frames & Flags Die Set from purple cardstock. She added the sentiment from the Summer Scoops Stamp Set onto the banner, embossing it in white. Then she simply assembled the card, using dimensional adhesive behind some of the ice creams to add height. For a finishing touch, a few decorative gems add a bit of sparkle!

Espresso Your Love Card by Farhana Sarker

Espresso Your Love! 

Valentine's Day will be here soon and it's the perfect time to espresso your love!  Farhana created a card that does just that for todays feature!

She started out this fun coffee themed card by using the duo of mugs from our Love Café Stamp Set. She colored them in sweet pastels and cut them out using the coordinating Love Café Die Set. Behind the mugs she features the fun big heart image from our Heartfelt Love Stamp Set, embossed in white onto vellum and cut out using our Heart Frames Die Set. 

She uses the Heart Frames Die Set again, this time cutting out a fun teal patterned paper heart using a page from our Love & Chocolate Paper Pad. 

She creates a card base from white cardstock and adds more hearts, this time using our Petite Hearts Stencil with some pretty pink ink. The finishing touch is a duo of banners cut out with our Banner Trio Die Set. One banner is cut from pink paper and includes the sentiment from our Love Café Stamp Set. The second banner is cut using another pretty patten from our Love & Chocolate Paper Pad.

This beautiful card would be perfect for sending a Valentine card to a coffee lover!

For her first card she colors all the adorable dog images from the Fabulous Frenchies Stamp Set and adds a trio of them to her simple 5x7 card base. To create the trio of die cut windows she used our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set with blue cardstock and a stripe patterned paper from our Meowy Christmas Paper Pad. You are Amazing Shaker Card by Larissa Heskett

 

Amazing Shaker! 

Today we are sharing a large shaker card by Larissa that is filled with fun! 

For this card she used the large scalloped frame from our new A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. This frame is perfectly sized to fit on a 5x7 card base. She used the die to cut out that fun houndstooth pattern from our Love & Meows Paper Pad. Then she layered her shaker panel over the top, filled with confetti hearts, sequins and "xoxo" letters. How fun! The background of this fun panel is also filled with hearts, stenciled in teal using our Petite Hearts Stencil. To finish it off, she added the sentiment "You are amazing" from our Floral Rounabout Stamp Set, embossed in teal onto the rounded banner shape from the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. 

What a gorgeous card! And I bet it's super fun to shake around too!

Orchid Card Duo by Zsofia Molnar

Orchid Cards in Two Color Combos!

Today we are sharing a beautiful duo of orchid cards Zsofia featuring our lovely Orchids Stamp Set. Both are so lovely it will be hard to choose a favorite!

For her first card, she colored the orchid from the Orchids Stamp Set in shades of blue with yellow and orange center. The image was cut out using the coordinating Orchids Die Set. For her card she created a subtle heart pattern over a white card base using our Petite Hearts Stencil. Then She added a rectangle cut from vellum using our Frames & Flags Die Set and layered the orchid image over the top with a blue oval frame. She added the sentiment into a banner, also from the Frames & Flags Die Set.

For her second card, she colored the same orchid image from the Orchids Stamp Set but this time used purples with yellow and orange in the center. The image was again cut out using the coordinating Orchids Die Set. She created another heart patterned base over a white card using our Petite Hearts Stencil. Then She added ovals and layered the orchid image over the top. She added the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set into a banner from the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. 

So gorgeous! Which color orchid is your favorite? There are so many beautiful options and that's what makes this unique stamp so fun to color and customize!
