Poinsettia Christmas

It's never too early to think about Holiday crafting! If you like to get a jump start on holiday cards, this card by Ellen is sure to give you some inspiration! She even used some retiring products that are on sale right now, a great incentive to go shopping and get ahead on Holiday cards!

This lovely card features the pretty flowers from our retiring Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She colored the beautiful cluster of floral blooms in traditional colors and used the coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set to cut it out. She also colored and cut out a bunch of extra leaves and holly that she placed around the bottom of the image. 

For the fun circle card shape, she used our Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the layers of circles. On the center layer she added a fun tree pattern using our retiring Tiny Trees Stencil. The "Merry Christmas" sentiment was stamped from the The Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set and added above the image. So fun and festive!

Season's Greetings Card by Farhana Sarker

Season's Greetings!

Today we are sharing a beautiful floral holiday card by Farhana featuring our Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. 

She started by stamping two clusters of poinsettias using our Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set and colored them in lovely tones of red and green. For her card she carefully hand cut the images out but if you don't like to fussy cut, there is a coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set available. She also added little gold gem embellishments around the flower leaves. 

For her card, she used our Holiday Foliage Stencil to dry emboss a subtle texture onto a white cardstock base. What a pretty effect! 

Then she layered the floral images over the  embossed panel, adhering them on each side of a stitched circle that was cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set. In the center of the circle she added the "season's greetings" sentiment from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set, embossed in gold

Winter Birds Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Sing a Song of Snowflakes! 

Today we are sharing a gorgeous winter card by Tatiana featuring that pretty cardinal from our Winter Birds Stamp Set. 

For this card, she colored the bird in gorgeous bright colors with copic markers. She also colored the branch and some leaves and berries using the Winter Birds Stamp Set along with some holly from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She die cut all these pieces out using the coordinating  Winter Birds Die Set and Poinsettia Blooms Die Set and then clustered them all together along the branch to create a cozy scene for the cardinal. She added little white snow splatters over the image using white gesso and a paintbrush. 

For the background, She inked a panel with some light blue ink and then used our Petite Snow Stencil with white texture paste to create a snowy sky. She also added some gold and white paint splatters to the sky. IN the lower corner, she added the sentiment "Sing a song of Snowflakes" from the Winter Birds Stamp Set in gold. 

What a beautiful creation! This card definitely captures a cold winter day and makes it feel magical!

Sing a Song of Snowflakes Card by Larissa Heskett

Sing a song of Snowflakes!

This adorable winter card by Larissa will steal your heart! She created this loveable card featuring the owl pair from our Love Owl-ways Stamp Set. This set was designed for Valentine and love themed cards but those sweet birds can really be used any time of year! Here she colored them in shades of brown, adding in lovely textures and pink cheeks. She cut them out using the Love Owl-ways Die Set. She  layered them over a branch that was created from the birch tree die cut on the Forest Scene Builder Die Set. She also adorns the branch with the tiny poinsettia from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She created a lovely little cluster of leaves and berries too and cut them all out using the  coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set. She added some beautiful details to the circle of blue sky by adding a subtle music note pattern in the sky using our Music Stencil. Then she added white embossed snowflakes and a black embossed sentiment from the Winter Birds Stamp Set.

Joyful Tidings Poinsettia Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Joyful Tidings!

This gorgeous floral card by Tatiana is so perfect for spreading holiday cheer! She featured the gorgeous florals from our Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set, coloring them in vibrant shades of red and lime green using copic markers. Then she cut them all out using the coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set and created two clusters of three blooms each for her card. She popped the flowers up using dimensionals and tucked the leaves and holly behind them. She also created a lovely panel of Argyle  for her card using our Argyle Stencil Set. This set is two pieces so it makes it easy to create two color patterns. For this card, she used shades of lime green and a darker green for the stitching! So pretty! She finished off her card by embossing the "joyful tidings" sentiment in white onto a square of red.

Poinsettia Blooms Birthday Wishes Card by Larissa Heskett

Make a Wish!

Today Larissa is sharing an idea on how to stretch your holiday stamps by creating a beautiful Birthday card using our Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She colored all those lovely blooms from the set in shades or red and green and trimmed out all the pieces with the coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set, layering them to create a gorgeous cluster of flowers in the corner of her card. She also added in some berries and boughs from the Winter Birds Stamp Set and cut them out with the Winter Birds Die Set to add more elements to her floral clusters. 

Larissa added the "make a wish" sentiment from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set to turn this card into a birthday card! If you are still creating Christmas cards, this would make a stunning Holiday too. Just add in a holiday sentiment.  She framed the lovely floral panel using the scallop edged frame from our Frames & Flags Die Set.

On the inside, She added some more distress ink and splatters along with a second sentiment from our Birthday Essentials Stamp Set.

Duo of Christmas Cards by Zsofia Molnar

Poinsettias with sparkle!  

Today we are sharing a duo of beautiful holiday cards by Zsofia! These cards are gorgeous yet simple to make! Perfect inspiration to create in the rush before the holidays! On these two cards she featured the lovely little poinsettia images from Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She used the smaller images from the set, embossing them in silver and then coloring them in two color palettes for her cards. For the first card she used pink and the second one she used red. She cut out the images using the coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set to add them onto a stitched white rectangle that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Isn't it so pretty how shimmery they are? On this card she also added "Season's Greetings" from the  Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set, embossed in silver under the blooms.

And here is the second version, exactly the same, but in red. She also changed up the sentiment on this one, using "wishing you joy" from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set.

These cards are so pretty with all the added sparkle!

Poinsettia Card by Jennifer Jackson

Season's Greetings!

Hello! Jen here today with a lovely holiday card using our  Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. For this card I wanted to create a soft watercolored look so I embossed the big image of blooms with white embossing powder onto a piece of watercolor cardstock. The I carefully added color with Zig clean color brush markers, coloring inside the lines. The raised edge of the embossing helps keep the watercolors neat. Then I decided it needed to pop a little more so I went around the exterior edge of the image using a blue. I love how the this makes the white edges pop! 

For the shapes, I used the Scalloped frame from our Framework Die Set. Then I cut out a light blue banner using our Frames & Flags Die Set and stamped the "Season's Greetings" Sentiment onto it from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. 

To finish off the card I put it all together, mounting it on a red cardstock base and adding a strip of kraft cardstock across the center. I also added some grey and white washi tape and a bit of red twine! I love how this card turned out! 

I didn't use the die set for this card, but the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set does have a coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set if you prefer the look of your images cut out.

She used all those lovely flowers from our Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set and stamped and layered the smaller flowers over the centers to create and incredible layered effect! She added the Season's Greetings sentiment, also from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set in the center. 

The vibrant birds on this card by Amanda are so lovely! She added the cardinal and nuthatch from our Winter Birds Stamp Set, adding a cute branch for each of them to sit on. She also embellished the branches with pine boughs that were die cut using our Pines & Holly Die Set. For the background she used a one of the stencils in our Plaid Stencil Set to create a fun black and blue plaid!

This stunning poinsettia card was created by Tatiana using our Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She used the image of poinsettia, embossed in gold and the watercolored the image. She added the image to the top of a flag that was die cut from vellum using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She embossed the Seasons Greeting sentiment on the vellum with gold. For the background she created a festive red and green plaid using our new Plaid Stencil Set over kraft cardstock. 

This winter bird card by Samantha is so beautiful! She used the chickadee bird from our new Winter Birds Stamp Set, adding a branch with leaves for him to sit on. For her card she created a gorgeous distress inked blue sky with added white embossed snowflakes. she also embossed the "warm winter wishes" sentiment from the Winter Birds Stamp Set. This card is perfect for a snowy winter day!

Maria created a gorgeous cluster of poinsettias using the image from our new Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set and adding berries from the new Winter Birds Stamp Set. She also added pine boughs that were die cut using our Pines & Holly Die Set. She finished out the card with the "Season's Greetings" Sentiment from our Ornamental Wishes Stamp Set. 

This cardinal card by Zsofia is so serene and pretty! She featured the cardinal from our new Winter Birds Stamp Set and added a branch for him to perch on. She layered the image over a vibrant blue sky filled with snowflakes and framed it with an oval frame. The sentiment is also from our Winter Birds Stamp Set. 

Ellen created this festive winter card using the fun little nuthatch from our Winter Birds Stamp Set! She added him onto her card with a branch and added some berries too. For her background she created a gorgeous black, white and red plaid using our new Plaid Stencil Set. She framed it with a black postage edged panel using our Framework Die Set. 

This incredible card by Juliana uses both of our new sets today! She combined the gorgeous cardinal, branches and berries from the Winter Birds Stamp Set with the poinsettias, leaves and holly from the new Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. These two sets work so perfectly together! For her card background she created a  lovely plaid background using our Plaid Stencil Set! 

The nature inspired colors on this card by Naki are so perfect for a winter day! She stamped and colored the chickadee and branch from our new Winter Birds Stamp Set on a neutral background, adding bits of dimensional snow too. The background includes a bit of subtle snow texture using our Petite Snow Stencil! So soft and pretty!

This gorgeous poinsettia card was created by Holly. She used the flowers from our Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set and embossed them in gold before adding color to them. For her background she used our Plaid Stencil Set and faded the images out in the corner! Such a fun effect!
