You're Fang-tastic Card by Tina Herbeck

You're Fang-tastic Card by Tina Herbeck | Count Newton Stamp Set, Spiderweb Stencil, Halloween Woofs Paper Pad, and Frames & Flags Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

You're FANG-tastic!

Newton was dressed as Frankenstein yesterday and today he's dressed as a vampire on this fun Halloween card by Tina! Both costumes are so much fun!

For this fun and spooky card Tina used that cute kitty dressed in a vampire costume from our Count Newton Stamp Set. She colored the kitty, adding fun stripes to the fur, and also added in the fun trick or treat pumpkin and bats from the same set. The images were cut out using the coordinating  Count Newton Die Set

For her card she created a gorgeous spiderweb background using our Spiderweb Stencil with white ink over a purple and black inked background! What perfect colors for Halloween. She added "You're FANG-tastic" from the  Count Newton Stamp Set, embossed in white onto the center of the spiderweb so that it really pops!  The panel was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it that fun stitched edge.

For her card base she used the spooky bat pattered paper from our Halloween Woofs Paper Pad.  Isn't it fun how you can mix and match our paper and stencils together!?

Glow-in-the-dark Spiderweb card by Larissa Heskett

Glow-in-the-dark Spiderweb card by Larissa Heskett | Batty Newton Stamp Set and Spiderweb Stencil by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Batty Newton and a Glow-in-the-dark Spiderweb!

Today we are sharing some glow-in-the-dark Halloween fun with this incredible card by Larissa
She created that amazing spiderweb using our Spiderweb Stencil that is gorgeous with it's multi-colors, AND it glows in the dark! She started by using the stencil with multiple colors of Distress ink. Then she applied Deco Foil Duo Gel over the ink colors. While the gel was still wet, she added some glow-in-the-dark embossing powder over the top.

While this was set aside to dry, she colored that cute image of Newton dressed as a bat from our Batty Newton Stamp Set. She used just shades of black with a touch of pink, which is perfect for standing out over the colorful web in the background! The image, along with two little bats from the set, were cut out using the coordinating Batty Newton Die Set to add to her card. Here's a close-up so you see how amazing her coloring is, even in just monochromatic black and white!

She also added the tiny "boo" in a speech bubble from our Boo Hoo, embossing it with the glow-in-the-dark embossing powder and cutting it out with the coordinating Boo Hoo Die Set. Then the card was assembled with an added black scalloped frame that was created with our Frames & Flags Die Set. She also created a coordinating envelope, adding the spiderweb from the Spiderweb Stencil along the flap.

Here is one more look at the card, this time in the dark:

Feline Batty Card by Amy Tsuruta | Batty Newton Stamp Set, Spooky Roundabout Stamp Set and Spiderweb Stencil by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Feline Batty!

Today we are getting in the mood for Halloween with this card by Amy! She combined several of our newest Halloween products to create this adorable card!

The sweet kitty in the bat costume from our Batty Newton Stamp Set takes center stage. She colored the image in neutral tones with fun purple bat wings! This image was cut out using the coordinating Batty Newton Die Set to layer onto her card. Behind the batty kitty, she used the big circle of Halloween creatures from our Spooky Roundabout Stamp Set. She colored this image using a palette of soft Halloween colors and a minty green background! So lovely! The image and the scalloped circle frame were cut out using the  Circle Frames Die Set

For a final, spooky finishing touch, she added a soft spiderweb to the background using our Spiderweb Stencil and the sentiment "feline batty" onto the ticket shape from our Framework Die Set. All these elements combine perfectly for a fun and spooky Halloween creation!

Trick or Treat Dog Card by Andrea Shell | Happy Howl-oween Stamp Set, Spiderweb Stencil, Circle Frames Die Set and Frames Squared Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Trick or Treating Puppies!

Today we are getting in the mood for some Halloween fun with this adorable card by Andrea. This fun card features the duo of trick-or-treating puppies from our Happy Howl-oween Stamp Set. She colored those pups and their costumes using fun bright Halloween colors with watercolor markers. Isn't it pretty how she has highlights showing on the pumpkin? The image was cut out using the coordinating Happy Howl-owen Die Set.

For her card, she created a square card base and then cut a stitched square layer to go over it using our Frames Squared Die Set. On this layer she added green inks and a gilttery green spiderweb using our Spiderweb Stencil. So fun! She also added layers of circles using our Circle Frames Die Set to help frame the image. A little yellow ink adds a spooky moonlight effect! The trick or treat sentiment was added into the corner, also from our Happy Howl-oween Stamp Set.

Happy Haunts Card by Maria Russell

Happy Haunts Card by Maria Russell | Knight Owl Stamp Set, Spiderweb Stencil, Spooky Street Stamp Set and What a Hoot Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Happy Haunts!

We are starting to get excited for Halloween! Today we have an awesome and just a tiny bit spooky card created by Maria that is sure to inspire you!

She started out with that adorable owl wearing the knight's armor from our Knight Owl Stamp Set. She colored that cute little image in neutral tones, adding a fun pop of blue on the moon. The image was cut it out using the Knight Owl Die Set.

For that amazing background she masked off a circle to create a moon, then used distress inks along with our Spiderweb Stencil to create a gorgeous blue and purple web background. She placed the owl over the masked circle and gave him a branch to perch on that was die cut using our What a Hoot Die Set. Such a fun idea! She added the sentiment "happy haunts"  and some little bats onto the sky from our Spooky Street Stamp Set.
