You Make Rainy Days Brighter Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Bright Umbrellas

This beautiful card by Tatiana is sure to make any rainy day brighter. 

To create this beautiful card she began by cutting out umbrellas in several fun bright colors using our Umbrella Pals Die Set. This die set goes perfectly with the images in our Umbrella Pals Stamp Set but today she is using just the die set on it's own. 

For her card base, she created a fun stenciled panel using both our Bokeh Stencil Set and our Raindrops Stencil. She started by stenciling the big blue dots using the Bokeh Stencil Set with blue inks. Then she added the rain using our Raindrops Stencil with white texture paste! That layering effect is so cool! 

On her card base she added little black raindrops up the side, stamped using the image from our Umbrella Pals Stamp Set and then layered the stenciled panel over the top. Next, she arranged the umbrellas over the stenciled background, layering them on top of each other and added dimensional tape to raise some of them up. The finishing touch is the sentiment "You make rainy days brighter" from our Newton's Umbrella Stamp Set. She embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock and then hand cut around it before adding it to her card. 

We love the way the layering of stencils looks on this card! We hope that you will try layering some of your own stencils to create new and fun background patterns and textures!

Rain or Shine Card by Samantha Mann

Rain or Shine!

Today we are brightening up a rainy day with this beautiful card by Samantha!

To create this cheerful card,  Samantha started by coloring the kitty with the umbrella from our Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set. She colored the umbrella in rainbow colors and added cute pink cheeks and white gel pen accents to the coloring. The image was cut out using the coordinating Newton's Rainy Day Die Set. our So cute! 

She decided that her card would need more ducks so she stamped and colored the two more duckies from our Newton's Rain Boots Stamp Set and cut them out with the coordinating Newton's Rain Boots Die Set. 

Next, she created a gorgeous ink blended panel using several shades of blue ink. She cut it using our new Frames & Tags Die Set to create the fun framed border. 

For her card base, she used a white card front and then added textured raindrops to it using our Raindrops Stencil with white texture paste! What a great finishing touch!

Gnome Birthday Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

 

Gnome Birthday Wishes!

Today Tatiana is sharing a gnome themed birthday card that is pretty in pink! 

For this sweet birthday scene she starts with the gnomes from our Gnome Garden Stamp Set. She stamps two gnomes along with some butterflies, flowers and a ladybug from the stamp set and colors them using alcohol markers in pretty shades of pink, green and blue. She adds a few white gel pen accents and cuts the images out using the coordinating Gnome Garden Die Set.

Next, she creates a scene for all of her images. She inks a sky in pale pink and then adds layers of circles using our two piece Bokeh Stencil Set in light pinks and then adds raindrops in dark pink using our Raindrops Stencil. Isn't it cool how the two stencils look layered together! What a fun sky!

For the bottom of the scene she cuts out two hills using our Land Borders Die Set and inks the edges with a bright lime green ink. Then she assembles the scene together, adding in the gnomes and all the flowers and butterflies. She adds the sentiment into the sky from the Gnome Garden Stamp Set and adds a little strip of pink striped paper on the right, cut from our Springtime Paper Pad.

Meow-ing in the Rain Card by Amanda Wilcox

Meow-ing in the Rain!

Celebrate the rainy days of spring with this adorable card by Amanda!

This adorable spring card features the trio of kitties in their raincoats from our Newton's Rainy Day Trio Stamp Set. Amanda colored this sweet trio in soft spring colors and gave them highlights with a white gel pen. Then she cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Rainy Day Trio Die Set. 

She next created a rainy sky scene fro the kitties using distress inks and our Raindrops Stencil on a white card base. She added a few music notes into the sky, also stamped from the Newton's Rainy Day Trio Stamp Set and cut out with the coordinating Newton's Rainy Day Trio Die Set. Then she simply added another strip of white cardstock across the bottom and added the sentiment "MEOW-ing in the rain!" onto it. This sweet card is sure to make any rainy day better!

Rainy Day Slimline Card by Samantha Mann

Brighten a Rainy Day with Cute Umbrellas! 

With spring comes rainy days but this card by Samantha will make any rainy day brighter!

For this incredible rainy day card she used those cute animal shaped umbrellas from our Umbrella Pals Stamp Set. She stamped and colored all those fun animal friends in a rainbow of run colors, using the coordinating Umbrella Pals Die Set to cut them out. 

For her card base, she chose to create a slimline layout and cut out a long scalloped panel using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. Over this panel she used two stencils to create a fun rainy day sky. Along the top half she used our Raindrops Stencil with black ink for a dark rainy sky.

Along the bottom half she used our Sunscape Stencil with yellow ink and glitter paste to create the beginning of a sunny sky sneaking through. Isn't that such a fun idea!? Those rainbow colored umbrellas over the top really pop off the background. She also embossed the sentiment "You make rainy days brighter" from the Umbrella Pals Stamp Set in white over the dark area.

Rainy Days Card by Samantha Mann

Rainy Days Made Brighter!

This adorable card by Samantha would be perfect for sending to someone who makes your life a little brighter! She created a fun slimline card layout featuring all the cute umbrellas from our Umbrella Pals Stamp Set. This set is packed with adorable umbrella critters and she colored them in fun bright colors. She used the coordinating Umbrella Pals Die Set to cut them out. 

For the slimline card base, she used our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to cut the fun slim panel with the scalloped edge. She used purple distress inks to create the gorgeous purple colored background. Then she used our Raindrops Stencil with some transparent texture paste to add shiny raindrops over the top! So cool!

Missing You and I'm Sorry Cards by Andrea Shell

Heartfelt Puppy Cards!

Today Andrea has created a sweet duo of cards that are perfect for sending caring thoughts. She started out by coloring two adorable puppies from our Puppy Playtime Stamp Set in black and white tones. The images were cut out using the coordinating Puppy Playtime Die Set. Then she made two cards with the pups using the same color palette and layout but changed the theme with different stencils and sentiments! Such a great idea!

For the first card she created a cloud background along the top half of her card using our Cloudy Sky Stencil with distress inks. She added the sentiment "Missing You" from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set, embossing it in white on a strip of black cardstock. She also added a scalloped border from striped paper using our Sky Borders Die Set below This is a lovely way to divide the card! Some black splatters and sequins add a fun finishing touch.

For the second card she used the same layout, creating a raindrop background along the top half of her card using our Raindrops Stencil. This time she chose the sentiment "I'm Sorry" which is also from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set.

Both of these cards are so darling and perfect for sharing caring thoughts! They would be great to have on hand when you need a card that expresses just the right thing!

Share my Umbrella!

Hello! Jen here today with a fun weather themed card that is perfect for a get well wish! This card features a fun trio of animal themed umbrellas, stamped using our Umbrella Pals Stamp Set. I colored them using copics, adding freckles to the cheek of the raccoon! Then I cut the umbrellas and the coordinating handles out using our coordinating Umbrella Pals Die Set with different colors of cardstock to add some bright tones! 

For the background I created a panel of raindrops using our Raindrops Stencil. Over this I layered a section of clouds using our Sky Borders Die Set and stamped the sentiment "under the weather" on the clouds. I added a scalloped edge to the panel using our Frames & Flags Die Set. I also used this same die set for the black banner that holds the sentiment "share my umbrella", embossed in white. 

To add one more pop of color I chose a bright yellow card base! I think this sunny and cheerful card would be appreciated by anyone who wasn't feeling their best! It's perfect for letting them know you are thinking of them!

Samantha created this adorable get well card using our retiring Spring Showers Stamp Set:

Samantha colored the image of the sweet ducky under an umbrella from the retiring Spring Showers Stamp Set. She fussy cut out the image by hand and then layered it over a gorgeous rainy blue sky. She added in some clouds (also stamped from the Spring Showers Stamp Set) and layered raindrops over the sky using our new Raindrops Stencil. This sweet card is sure to cheer up anyone who is under the weather!

Next, Maria has created two adorable summery cards using retiring stamp sets!

For her first card, Maria uses the cute grilling bear from the Winston's BBQ Stamp Set. She colored the image in fun bright colors, giving him a red apron to match the grill! She created a fun summer scene for him to grill in, adding grass in the front with our Land Borders Die Set and a fence behind him using our Fence Die Set. In the background layer she added hills and grass with ink using our Hills & Grass Stencil and clouds to the sky using our Clouds Stencil. She finishes the scene with a layer of clouds and a sunshine that were die cut using the new Sky Scene Builder Die Set! This cute scene would be perfect to send to a friend who likes to grill!

For her second card, Maria uses the cute trio of chickens from the retiring Chicken Scratches Stamp Set. This adorable hen and her chicks are perfect for sending a fun hello! She created a fun background with grass using our Hills & Grass Stencil and clouds using our Clouds Stencil masked into a circle with some die cut chicken wire. She also added that fun little rainbow using our Believe in Unicorns Stamp Set and Die Set into the sky!

This scene by Ellen will put you in the mood for Spring fun! She features a duo bunnies from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, posing them in front of a fence cut out using our Fence Die Set. She added in layers of grass using our Land Borders Die Set too. The whole scene is framed with a scalloped edge from our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Tatiana creates a card that is perfect for sending an Easter wish! She colors the image of the bunny in front of an Easter basket from our new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. She adds the image onto a stitched vellum rectangle that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set and adds a little hill onto the bottom with our Land Borders Die set. The delightful floral background was added on using our new Petite Flowers Stencil. 

Andrea created this cheerful spring card that will brighten any day! She features the sweet bunny from the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. She added the image to a tag that was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She added gingham to the tag with our Gingham Stencil. She also added a purple flower background using the new Petite Flowers Stencil. The postage edge was cut out using our Framework Die Set.

Samantha created this adorable Easter card that will steal your heart! She features the cute bunny from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. She colored in image in bright pastels and layered it over a fun black and white cloudy background. She used our Cloudy Sky Stencil, using flocking to give them a fun texture! She also used the banner from our Frames & Flags Die Set to hold the sentiment. 

The soft watercolors on this card by Tina are so perfect for a sweet Spring greeting! She features two of the darling bunnies from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, softly coloring them in neutral tones with pops of yellow! She adds them to her card over a gorgeous white floral background that was created using our new Petite Flowers Stencil. Amanda created a long landscape style card that has plenty of space to feature three of the adorable bunnies from our new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. She colored them in fun bright pastels and added them over a glittery floral background that was created using our new Petite Flowers Stencil. She also added the sentiment into a bubble cut our using our Speech Bubbles Die Set.

This card by Larissa will put you in the mood for the cheerful days of Spring! She features the cute bunny in the watering can from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, coloring the tulips behind him in gorgeous bright tones. She adds him onto a stitched rectangle cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set and adds a grassy edge using our Land Borders Die Set. For the gorgeous background she combines our Plaid Stencil Set and Argyle Stencil Set to create a layered pattern!

The pop of pastels on this card by Maria is perfect happy Easter hello! She features the cute bunny and basket from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, using bright bold pastels to color the image. She creates a scene of pastel clouds using our Clouds Stencil and adds grass using our Land Borders Die Set. For the die cut greeting she uses our Holiday Greetings Die Set for the word "happy" and adds on the custom word "Easter" using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. The scalloped edge was added using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Zsofia created a delightful rainy day scene, perfect for Spring! She features the image of the bunny in the watering can from the new Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, adding bright colors to the tulips. She created a rainy sky background using our new Raindrops Stencil with glittery embossing paste. A layer of clouds was added across the top using our Sky Borders Die Set and grass was created with our and Borders Die Set. She added the sentiment onto a tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set and framed the scene with a scalloped edge using our Frames & Flags Die Set.
