Simple Joys of Christmas Card by Zsofia Molnar

Joys of Christmas!

Today we are celebrating the joys of Christmas with Zsofia! She has created a card that is packed with all our favorite Christmas themes!

She started out by pairing the image of the girl holding the giant stack of Christmas gifts from our Christmas Haul Stamp Set with the image of the truck, also filled with Christmas gifts, from our Holiday Haul Stamp Set. These two images with the piles of gifts work so perfectly together! Do you think the girl is unloading the gifts from the back of the truck? She colored both of the images in fun bright holiday colors and cut them out using the coordinating Christmas Haul Die Set and Holiday Haul Die Set.

For the card , she created a wonderful Christmas scene. She started by creating a snowy sky using our Starfield Stencil with white texture paste over a blue inked background! Next, she layered a series of trees that were stamped in green ink using the bold tree images from our Whispering Pines Stamp Set. These bold trees have a lovely watercolor texture that adds a fun detail. She cut them out using the coordinating Whispering Pines Die Set and layered them in front of her sky. She next layered a fence that was cut out using our Fence Die Set and a hill of snow using our Land Borders Die Set. 

What a gorgeous winter scene! She finished her card with the sentiment from our  Christmas Nap Stamp Set, embossed in white onto a black cardstock rectangle to tie it all together!

Happy Holiday Slimline Card by Zsofia Molnar

Happy Holidays!

Have you tried making slimline cards yet? If not, you will surely be inpired to try them after seeing this adorable card by by Zsofia! She combined lovely ladies from two holiday stamps on this card. The girl with the box full of decorations is from our Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set and the girl with the loads of gifts is from our Christmas Haul Stamp Set. She colored them both using the lovely red, green ad teal color combo and trimmed them out using their coordinating die sets (Christmas Trimmings Die Set and Christmas Haul Die Set). 

For the card, she created a slimline panel covered in trees by using our Tiny Trees Stencil.  Then she used our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to add the panel with the tree circle cut outs. These are perfect for framing the two girls on each side. She added the sentiment from the Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set in the center. The stitched green frame around this panel was added using our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set and trimming out the center pieces.

Nailed it Card by Amanda Wilcox + Black Friday Sale Details!

Nailed It!

It's that time of year, when there is SO MUCH to accomplish! Whether you are almost done or just starting, we hope this card by Amanda will inspire you! She used the image of the adorable girl with her arms filled with christmas gifts and a wreath from our Christmas Haul Stamp Set. She colored the image in a fun holiday color combo and cut it out using the coordinating Christmas Haul Die Set.

To set the scene, she created a holiday city street in the background using our Main Street Christmas Stamp Set and embossing the image in white over a kraft colored background. She also added lots of snow flakes to the sky, also from the Main Street Christmas Stamp Set.  Then, she added a snow hill along the bottom, cutting it out with our Land Borders Die Set.  For the sentiment she used "nailed it!" from the Christmas Haul Stamp Set, stamped onto a banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set.

"Nailed it!" Card by Tatiana 

Happy Black Friday! Are you shopping today? This shopping themed card by Tatiana is perfect to inspire you to achieve all your shopping goals today! She created a lovely shaker card featuring the girl laden with gifts and shopping bags from our Christmas Haul Stamp Set. She colored the image in fun bright pastels and cut it out using the coordinating Christmas Haul Die Set. She added the image in front of a big circle shaker window. Inside the shaker window she used our Music Stencil to create a festive teal background pattern. For the shaker elements she used little gifts, also from our Christmas Haul Stamp Set, mixed with iridescent sequins. So pretty! She finished it off with the "nailed it" sentiment embossed in white on the black banner underneath!

'Tis the Season to be Fabulous Card by September Guest Designer Stephanie Davis

Hello everyone! I'm excited to be back to share another fall card with you! I just adore the Pumpkin Latte Stamp set, and I couldn't wait to make a card with it!


To create my card, I first splattered black and gold gouache onto the card base. Then I die cut a frame out of patterned paper using the Frames & Flags Die Set. I popped the frame up using foam tape to adhere it to the card base. Then I stamped the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set and embossed the images with gold embossing powder. I used some Sennelier watercolors to paint the images, and added a bit of detail with watercolor pencils.

Then I dug through my scrap box to find a few alcohol background scraps. I die cut leaves from the background scraps using the Autumn Leaves Die Set and adhered them to the frame. I think my favorite may be the little acorn, so cute!

Did you know you can mix your alcohol inks to create the perfect brown?!? That way you don't have to buy ALL of the colors, especially colors you won't use often. I had mixed black and orange to make the brown alcohol background. I also added some gold, because everything is better with a bit of gold to me! I used foam squares to adhere the images on top of the leaves, and popped up the acorn as well. Then I added the sentiment stamped from the Christmas Haul Stamp Set, embossed in gold to complete my card.

Wanted Interactive Birthday Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Interactive Cowboy Newton Card!

Hello and Happy Friday! Today we have another fun interactive card by Ellen. For this project she's featuring Newton as a cowboy from our Newton Rides West Stamp Set on a mini scene that opens up from the front of the card.

Read on for details on how she created this fun card!

Creating the scene:

• Photo 1 (left): On the inside I wanted to create a little scene, so I created a background. This was made with a rectangular die and Sea Borders Die Set. The paper piece was colored with Tumbled Glass and for the hill the “Antique Linen” and “Vintage Photo” Distress ink.
• Photo 2 (center): To get a dreamy blue sky some water, white and blue ink was sprinkled on top.
• Photo 3 (right): As last step I colored the images with Copic Markers (the cat is from the Newton Rides West Stamp Set  and the gifts are from the Christmas Haul Stamp Set with Copic Markers. Once the images were colored I cut the out using the coordinating Christmas Haul Die Set and Newton Rides West Die Set
  
  Here are the colors I used:
• The cat: W5, W4, W3, W2, W1, W0 and C5, C4, C3, C2 Stripes BV29
• Brown: E37, E35, E33, E31
• Light Green: YG06, YG03, YG01, YG00
• Dark Green: G07, G05
• Blue: B29, B18, B16
• Pink: RV13 and R11

What the card looks like closed:

Creating the interactive piece:

• Photo 1 (left): I really wanted to create a card with an interactive piece that opened. Therefore I thought of using the 2nd frame die from the Framework Die Set. To focus on the little interactive piece, a pattern was added. For that pattern I used the Argyle Stencil Set.
• Photo 2 (center): After the base was created I started the with the interactive pice. The size of the little piece is 3.35 inch (13,6 cm) x 2.87 inch (7,3 cm). When you did cut it out you can fold it in three piece like an accordion. The next thing was to find some sentiments and add it to the piece with embossing powder. The sentiments come from the Newton Rides West Stamp Set and the Newton's Birthday Bash Stamp Set.
• Photo 3 (right): For the front I used the smaller illustrated stamps from the Newton Rides West Stamp Set set and created my own cowboy pattern.

What a fun way to make a card interactive! It will be so fun for the recipient to open the extra surprise!

For her background she created stunning red and black paid using our new Plaid Stencil Set and added snowflakes on top from the Snowman, embossed in white! 

This cheerful Holiday card was created by Samantha using our new Christmas Haul Stamp Set. She colored the girl and her gifts in fun bright colors and added adorable stripes to her stockings! For the background she used our new Plaid Stencil Set to create a subtle texture and added bright yellow hues over the top! Perfect to cheer up a cool winter day!

This lovely card was created by Larissa featuring the big sentiment from our Snowman Advice Stamp Set! She framed it inside a scalloped edge frame from our Framework Die Set and added the cute little snowman in the corner. For the background she created that gorgeous pattern using our new Argyle Stencil Set. She used each stencil twice to create diamonds in two colors and stitching across the middle and along the edge of the diamonds! So cool! 

Zsofia created a delightful duo of snowboarding moose cards using our new Moose Mountain Stamp Set! She colored the outfit on each snowboarding moose awesome bright colors and made background panels to match the colors! For the backgrounds she used our new Argyle Stencil Set, inking the diamond layer twice to create the fun multi colored look! She also added on the sentiment into a banner from our Frames & Flags Die Set.

This Holiday card by Naki has so much sparkle and glamor! She used the girl with all the gifts from our new Christmas Haul Stamp Set, coloring her with fun bits of gold! Then she used each of the stencils separately from our Plaid Stencil Set to create fun modern background patterns that she layered onto her card! She added the sentiment in gold onto a postage edge tag cut using our Framework Die Set.

Maria created a winter wonderland for the snowboarding moose on her card! She used the moose from our new Moose Mountain Stamp Set and created hills of snow for him using our Land Borders Die Set. She then added houses in the background using our Snow Globe Scenes Stamp Set and trees using our Forest Scene Builder Die Set.  She finished out the card with a die cut "happy" from our Holiday Greetings Die Set combined with the word "holidays from our now Globe Scenes Stamp Set. 

This adorable Snowman card was created by Holly using our new Snowman Advice Stamp Set. It's so cute how she used the little snowmen along the bottom and masked them to overlap together! She also used our Framework Die Set for the stitched edged panel.
