Floral Thank you Card by Naki Rager

Floral Thank you Card by Naki Rager | Love Grows Stamp Set and Essential Alphabet Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Floral Thank You!

Today we are sharing a beautiful floral thank you card by Naki created this sweet floral card using the roses and tiny flowers from our our Love Grows Stamp Set. She colored them in soft pink and yellow, using no-line coloring. Then she fussy cut out the flowers and leaves to add onto her card. She stamped the vine border, curving it on her stamp block to make a fun wreath effect! What a neat idea! Then she cut out the word THANKS using our new Essential Alphabet Die Set in soft blue! Such a gorgeous card!

Birthday Roses Card by Jennifer Jackson

Birthday Roses Card by Jennifer Jackson | Love Grows Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Birthday Roses!

Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing a fun birthday card with roses from our Love Grows stamp set! To create this card I stamped the roses and their leaves with waterproof black ink. Then I colored around them using gelatos. I used a bit of water in a wate rbrush to smooth out the colors. To color inside the flowers I just outlined the edges with a pink gelato and then used a water brush to pull the color where I wanted it.

I added the "happy birthday" sentiment using the Simply Sentimental stamp set. This set makes it so easy to create custom sentiments for your cards! Then to finish off the card I took a white gel pen and added some dots around the edges of the roses. I love how this turned out!

Simply Wonderful Card by Danielle Pandeline

Danielle Pandeline | Beautiful Wings and Love Grows Stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Lovely Spring Roses by Danielle!

Today we have a lovely pastel flower card by Danielle.  She used our fun big roses from the our Love Grows stamp set stamped them on that fun circle card shape. I love the bright pinks and yellows she used to color them. Then she added on a fun butterfly from the Beautiful Wings stamp set. I love how she stamped the butterfly in white and watercolored over the top. She trimmed that cute image out using the coordinating  Beautiful Wings Die Set. Then the finished off the card with the "You are simply Wonderful" sentiment, also from the Beautiful Wings stamp set, embossed in white on vellum! This whole card has such a lovely spring feel! It would be so fun to send out as a Spring hello or Birthday greeting!

Happy Everything! Rose Card by Jennifer Jackson

Happy Everything! Watercolored Rose Card by Jennifer Jackson | Love Grows and Simply Sentimental Stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Happy Everything!

I had so much fun playing with watercolors and our Love Grows stamp set to create this card! I stamped several of the roses and leaves on a piece of watercolor paper using waterproof black ink. Then I used distress  inks to color the roses  and the teal background and splattered some ink over them to get the fun watercolored droplets! I love how this turned out.

Happy Everything! Watercolored Rose Card by Jennifer Jackson | Love Grows and Simply Sentimental Stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Then I stamped the "happy everything" sentiment using words from the Simply Sentimental stamp set on some Vellum. I added the vellum to the card with a piece of gold dotted washi tape (it's always so hard to figure out how to adhere vellum!). Then I added on some wooden heart embellishments and a piece of gold twine to finish it off and added it to the card base!

I love how this card turned out - it's a nice "general" card to have on hand - I could use it for a birthday, anniversary, or even for a wedding card!

Mothers Day bold flower card by Jennifer Jackson | Fanciful Florals Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs

I decided to make a Mothers Day card for the hop. I used the new bold flower set Fanciful Florals to create a bold floral image with hot magenta and lime. Then I added the "Happy Mother's Day" Sentiment from the Love Grows Stamp set. I love how simple this card was to make. To dress it up, I added on a few pearls, a slight peek of patterned paper and some white bakers twine. Then the whole thing was put on a gray card base.

Think Spring Card by Samantha Mann

Think Spring cat Card with Lion Mane of Flowers | Card by Samantha Mann | Stamps by Newton's Nook Designs

Think Spring Kitty Card

Awww - isn't this kitty card by Samantha Mann super cute? I love how she created a wreath made of little flowers around the kitty's head! It looks like a she dressed Newton with a lion mane for spring! This is such a fun idea - It reminds me of the saying "in like a lion, out like a lamb" for March.

Samantha used a ton of little sets for this - can you spot them? She used Newton's Daydream, Newton's Antics, Basket of Wishes, Bunny Hop, Easter Scramble, Hanging Around and Love Grows! Wow - that's a ton of sets to create all those fun little flowers!!

Hopefully this sweet card will bring on spring (we had snow here in the Midwest yesterday-ugh)! Meanwhile, you can pop over to Samantha's Blog, Sam's Scrap Candy, and say hello :)
