Father's Day Card for a Golfer! 

Does your Dad like to golf? If he does, he would adore a Father's Day Card like this one by Amanda! She used the cute image of the bear golfing from our Winston's Tee Time Stamp Set. She colored that cute bear with copics, giving him an awesome red and teal outfit! Then she cut the image out using the coordinating Winston's Tee Time Die Set. For her card she created a fun golf course scene by layering hills cut out using our Land Borders Die Set. It's so fun how she alternated solid and patterned papers! She also added in two golf flags and the sentiment from the Winston's Tee Time Stamp Set. I love how she added the "hole in one" sentiment onto a small white circle that was cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set. It reminds me of a golf ball so it's so fitting for the theme of this card!

Tee-rific Dad Card by June Guest Designer Simone Naoum

Hello Everyone

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend? Today I'm back with another Newton's Nook Designs card for you all, and this one uses the fun new Winston's Tee Time stamp and die sets.

When I first saw this stamp set I knew it was a must have, especially to create cards for guys who love golf, as well as Father's Day cards, which I'm getting a bit of head start on with today's card!

I started this card by first arranging and stamping my sentiment onto a plain white card base, before stamping Winston onto some X-press It blending card, and again onto some patterned paper for his shirt. I then coloured Winston using my Copic Sketch Markers, before paper piecing his patterned paper shirt onto him.  Once he was dry I then covered his collar and the golf ball with some clear Wink of Stella glitter for a bit of shimmer, before die cutting them out and sticking them down onto my card base using some adhesive foam.  Finally I embellished the card with some matching coloured sequins.

That's my card for today and I hope it inspires you to get a head start on creating some Father's Day cards?!

Dad, You're Tee-rific Card by Juliana Michaels

Tee-riffic card for DAD! 

Today we are back celebrating Dad with this adorable golf themed card by Juliana! She used that cute image our our bear, Winston, in his adorable golf clothes from the Winston's Tee Time stamp set. I love bright blue pants and hat she gave him! So cute! She cut out the bear and his little golf ball using the coordinating Winston's Tee Time Die Set! Then she created a super fun background for Winston using our Land Borders die set for the grass and our Sky Borders Die Set for the clouds. She has some more fun ideas on how to use our border dies on her blog today with two more fun cards, so pop over to Juliana's blog to see those!

She finished off her card by making the "Dad you're tee-riffic" sentiment using words from the
he Winston's Tee Time stamp set. If you have a Dad who loves to golf, this set will be an essential one to have!

Naki colored that cute golfing bear using no line coloring and created a little scene for him using the grass and hill from our Land Borders die set! So fun!

Tatiana used both of the bear images, popping them out of holes on her card! The fun bright colors she used contrast so well with the black and white card front!

This sweet scene was created by Larissa. She used the grass and stitched hill edge from the Land Borders die set to create a landscape for Winston and she created clouds using our Sky Borders die set as a mask too! Plus, she added in a fun shadow!

Winston is so cute on this card by Ellen! She added in bits of grass using our Land Borders die set and created a custom sentiment using "grandfather" from our Simply Relative stamp set with the "you're tee-riffic" from the Winston's Tee Time set! What a great idea!

This card for Dad by Juliana is so fun! She used our Land Borders die set to create the fun layers of grass and the Sky Borders die set as a mask for the cloudy sky!  The bright orange pants she gave Winston really pop off the grass! The circle cut out ads some great dimension too! 

Samantha created this fun card with a monochromatic grey background of flags, golf balls and little bottles from the Winston's BBQ stamp set! The bright image of Winston and the red flag really pops off that background! So fun!

Maria created this sweet card for Dad! She created a mini scene for the bear to golf in and even added #1 Dad on her flag! What an adorable way to celebrate a "Tee-riffic" Dad!

This golf card by Holly is so cheerful! The fun watercolored background with the white golf balls is the perfect setting for Winston and his golf bad! She also combined words from this set to create the "Dad, you're a holed in one" sentiment! 

Jennifer created a delightful shaker card using this new set! I love how she created a hilly scene using our Land Borders die set and filled it with sequins that match her card colors perfectly! 

Amanda used both the bears on her sunny golf card! She also created a scene using the grass and stitched hill from the Land Borders die set and added clouds using the Sky Borders die set! The sentiment in the clouds is the perfect finishing touch!
