Retiring Products Feature Week - Day 1 - Samantha & Maria

It's time to make room for new products so we are retiring select designs!

All week our design team will be sharing inspiration using some of their favorite products from our retiring list and we are starting the week out with projects today by Samantha and Maria!

Samantha created this adorable get well card using our retiring Spring Showers Stamp Set:

Samantha colored the image of the sweet ducky under an umbrella from the retiring Spring Showers Stamp Set. She fussy cut out the image by hand and then layered it over a gorgeous rainy blue sky. She added in some clouds (also stamped from the Spring Showers Stamp Set) and layered raindrops over the sky using our new Raindrops Stencil. This sweet card is sure to cheer up anyone who is under the weather!

Next, Maria has created two adorable summery cards using retiring stamp sets!

For her first card, Maria uses the cute grilling bear from the Winston's BBQ Stamp Set. She colored the image in fun bright colors, giving him a red apron to match the grill! She created a fun summer scene for him to grill in, adding grass in the front with our Land Borders Die Set and a fence behind him using our Fence Die Set. In the background layer she added hills and grass with ink using our Hills & Grass Stencil and clouds to the sky using our Clouds Stencil. She finishes the scene with a layer of clouds and a sunshine that were die cut using the new Sky Scene Builder Die Set! This cute scene would be perfect to send to a friend who likes to grill!

For her second card, Maria uses the cute trio of chickens from the retiring Chicken Scratches Stamp Set. This adorable hen and her chicks are perfect for sending a fun hello! She created a fun background with grass using our Hills & Grass Stencil and clouds using our Clouds Stencil masked into a circle with some die cut chicken wire. She also added that fun little rainbow using our Believe in Unicorns Stamp Set and Die Set into the sky!

Best of Cluck Card by Amanda Bodine

Best of Cluck!

Today's adorable chicken card by Amanda will make you smile! This card using our Chicken Scratches Stamp Set would be so fun to send a friend who needs a little luck or just for fun! She stamped and colored those three chicks and the hen from and added them onto a hill that she created using our Land Borders Die Set. She added little bits of chicken feed (also a stamp from this set) on the ground too. Then she layered some polka dot red and white paper, black cardstock and black and white twine across the bottom! I love how those colors coordinate with the hen and make it pop! The fun textured pattern in the sky adds some fun detail too. For her sentiment she used the "Best of Cluck" and added in a little bit of stamped chicken wire too, also from the Chicken Scratches Stamp Set! Everything on this card coordinates so well together!

Chicken wire card with Larissa Heskett

Just Chicken-in!

Don't you just LOVE this fun card by Design Team Member Larissa Heskett? She found the perfect metal technique to pair with our cute little Chicken Scratches stamp set! I love how she created this fun chicken wire background and then randomly stamped our tiny chicken wire stamp on the image too! Plus the chickens are super cute with their little red wings and the matching big red bow is so fun!

Two fun summer cards with Guest Designer Donna Idlet!

Fun Summer Cards!

Today I get to share some awesome card sets created by our June Guest Designer, Donna Idlet!  For her first card, Donna used the watermelon from our Sweet Summer fruit stamp set! Combined with our funny "thanks a melon" stamp,  this little cutie makes a perfect sweet thank you.  I love angled layout and the cute little floral sequins she added on too!

For the second card Donna used our cute new little Chicken Scratches set to create this fun little scene! I love the simple layout with the diamond shape in the center and the woodgrain paper goes so well with those little chickens!

Samantha's card made me laugh! Such a fun idea! I love the little road scene she created! 

Taheerah is making us laugh again this month! She combined the chicks with the Winston image from Winston's Birthday - and and created an "almost" naughty sentiment! 

Check out this fun card by Christine! I just love the color combo on this one with the pops of teal! 

Check out this adorable idea from Danielle! This chick gets the blue ribbon for creativity!  

Crafty Math-Chick created a great clean & simple layout -  love the big group of little chicks with just the one looking down!! 

 Tessa created this adorable card! I LOVE the colored bits of chicken wire in the background - and the stamped doily is SO cute! 

 Larissa created a fun angled layout for her card. This light colored card is so pretty with the pops of red -- And look at those itty bitty paper- pierced wings!

Valerie created such a cool background by embossing and sponging over the chicken wire stamp - and I LOVE that chicken tracks border!
