Newton's Stocking Gift Bag and Tag by Larissa Heskett

Stocking Kitty for Christmas!

Larissa has created an adorable gift tag and bag that is sure to help make a holiday gift feel special! 

To create this beautiful gift, she started out by stamping and coloring the image of the kitty in the stocking from our Newton's Stocking Stamp Set. She added some amazing details to her coloring with shading, stripes on the kitty and white gel pen accents. She cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Stocking Die Set and added a little pom pom to the Santa hat.  She also adorned the stocking, adding a sprig of holly stamped from our A Kitten Christmas Stamp Set with a heart embellishment to replace the berries!

She added this fun image to a tag that was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She added a little circle tag to the larger tag using our Jolly Tags Stamp Set (cut out with the coordinating Tags Times Two Die Set). She embellished the top of the tag using a bunch of pretty ribbons! She also used patterned papers from our Canine Christmas Paper Pad and our Christmas Time Paper Pad. 

What a gorgeous Holiday creation! The recipient of this gift is sure to be wowed!

Snow Angel Gift Tags by Larissa Heskett

Snow Angel Tags 

Today we are sharing and fun set of snow angel tags by Larissa that are sure to dress up any gift!

To create these fun gift tags she started by stamping the cute puppy and kitty snow angels from our Snow Angel Puppy Stamp Set and our Snow Angel Newton Stamp Set. She colored the images beautifully, using neutral browns and grays for their fur and added fun teal and purples for their hats and scarves! So cute! She also added pink cheeks and little dot details and highlights using a white gel pen!

To make these cuties into tags she used the coordinating Snow Angel Puppy Die Set and Snow Angel Newton Die Set to cut the images out. Then she cut a second set of each snow angel, using the same die shape. This time she cut it from piece of white paper that was folded in half and set that lower inside the die when she cut it out. This creates a shape that matches up with the front shape and creates a tag that opens! How cool! 

Here is the Puppy version with the tag opened up. She added the "Merry Christmas" sentiment inside the tag using our Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set. So adorable! 

She also used the fun bold snowflake from our Jolly Tags Stamp Set and made it into a little round tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set.

And here is the kitty version with the tag opened up. On this one she stamped "Warm Holiday Wishes" inside the tag using our Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set. 

How fun are these custom shaped tags!? You could do this with many of our die sets to create special tags for your holiday gifts this year!

The Happiest of Holiday Wishes Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Happiest of Holidays! 

Today Tatiana has created a fun holiday card filled with bold images! She created this fabulous card by using the little snowflake tag stamp from our Jolly Tags Stamp Set. She stamped the image multiple times in colored inks and then used the coordinating Tags Times Two Die Set to cut the images out. 

For the card base, she created a bold tree background pattern using our Tiny Trees Stencil. Then she layered the tag images over the background, lining them up in rows. For the sentiment she used words from our Main Street Christmas Stamp Set, embossing them in white onto black strips of paper and placing them between the rows of tags! To add some extra special finishing details she added sequins and bits of silver twine to some of the tags! What a fun way to make a simple card feel special!

Deck the Halls Foxy Couple Card by Yukari Yoshioka

Foxy Cuddles for Christmas!

Many of our stamp sets can be combined to create cute little scenes! Today Yukari created this wonderful little woodland scene using a couple of our stamp sets! She focused on those cute little snuggling foxes and sweet little trees from our Fox Hollow stamp set and trimmed them out with the coordinating Fox Hollow Die Set. I love the soft neutral grey coloring on the fox couple! Then she framed them out with a fun border and added on a cute little tag! The tag was stamped using the small "deck the halls" sentiment from the Newton's Holiday Mischief stamp set along with the little tag image from the Jolly Tags stamp set. Then she cut it out using the Tags Times Two Die Set. Isn't it so fun how you can mix and match our sets to create custom scenes?

Sweet Snowman card by Yukari Yoshioka

Sweet Snowman!

I love it when the lovely designers on our team think of fun new ways to use our stamps and this card by Yukari is a great example. She used the snowman from the Jolly Tags stamp set but instead of creating a tag with it she masked off the tag edge and just used the snowman as the focal point of her card! What a great idea! She also used the sweet little tag with the holly in it from Jolly Tags stamp set and added the "peace love & joy" sentiment from the  Newton's Christmas Cuddles stamp set. She also used our coordinating Tags Times Two die set to cut out the tag.

Here's a sweet little pillow box by Larissa! I love the red sparkle she added on the snowflake tag from the Jolly Tags stamp set! She also used red sparkle on the word merry from the Holiday Wishes stamp set. 

Danielle created this adorable penguin Holiday card! she used our new our new Simply Seasonal stamp set for the big "happy Holidays" and added the sweet penguins from the Wild Child stamp set - so cute!! I love that gold background too!

Here's a beautiful snowflake card by Jess! I love the embossed white on the Kraft paper - it makes the white really pop off! What a fun way to showcase our Beautiful Blizzard stamp set!

I love those sparkly snowflake tags on this card by Samantha. She used our new Jolly Tags stamp set and Tags Times Two die set!

Here is an awesome Happy New Year Card by Kimberly! I love the gold countdown on the side of the card!! She used our Years of Cheers stamp set for the numbers and champagne glasses and added the sentiments from the new Simply Seasonal stamp set.

Nina-Marie created this awesome winter scene using our Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set for the main images. She also used the sentiments from the Newton's Christmas Cuddles stamp set. If you look close you can find some snowflakes from the Fox Hollow stamp set and gifts from the Holiday Wishes stamp set! I love that gold striped background too!

Here's what I created! I used the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set to create gold and white snowflakes over a Kraft background and then added the "Happy Holidays" sentiment from our new Simply Seasonal Stamp set.

25 Tags of Christmas Tags!

Today we are excited to part of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely. We are now on day 17 - so make sure you visit her blog to see all 25 days along with beautiful inspiration! Today she's Featuring the Newton's Nook Design Team on her blog so make sure you head over there to see some more beautiful tags using NND products! 

Here's what I created to play along:

I used our new Jolly Tags Stamp set to create this super cute little holiday milk bottle! I found this fun bottle and straw at the local craft store and knew it would be an awesome way to showcase those cute tags! I stamped the snowman on Kraft paper and colored him with colored pencils! I love the look of white on Kraft paper. I added in some white snow with a white pico embellisher. The tag was cut out with our Tags Times Two die set.

I love how this turned out. Wouldn't it be so fun to make these as place settings for a festive Holiday dinner party? Fill them with a favorite drink and you would have such a cute table!

More Jolly Tags Inspriation

Tons of Tags!!

Hello and Happy Monday! This is Jen here today with a few more tag projects using our NEW Jolly Tags stamp set and coordinating Tags Times Two die set. Once I started working with these tags I kept thinking of more ideas of how to use them and I ended up with a whole bunch of fun little projects! They are really so fun to use and put together little gifts so quickly! The photo above is of a cute little set of pillow boxes! I stamped on the boxes using the little snowflake from our Simply Seasonal stamp set and then assembled them and tied them with some red twine. For the tags, I stamped the images from our Jolly Tags stamp set onto watercolor paper and cut them out with the coordinating Tags Times Two die set. I colored them with zig clean color markers and added them onto the little pillow boxes. So quick and easy!

For the next project I created this fun snowman card! I used the snowman image from the Jolly Tags stamp set and again stamped him on watercolor paper and cut it out with the coordinating Tags Times Two die set. Then I colored him with zig clean color brush markers and added a fun bit of lace ribbon. For the card base I used a chevron stencil and some sparkly embossing paste to create the fun background. Then I added a couple of flags using blue polka dot and blue glitter paper. I added it all to the card and used the "Snow-one else like you" sentiment from the Frozen Friends stamp set.

Crafty Math-Chick created this fun set of tags using all the different images and the coordinating dies! What an adorable set with a little matchbox to put them in!

I love how Jess turned the tags into ornaments that hang from the top of the card! Such a fun idea!

Here is an adorable set of cards by Stephanie featuring those fun tags tied on with yarn! These would make great gift card holders! 

Samantha definitely thought "outside the tag" - she colored and trimmed out just the santa image to add to this card! Such a fun background too!

Danielle created this sweet little tiny shaker tag! I love how she put all the beads in the penguins belly! What a fun idea to dress up a special gift!

Check out this adorable candy striped cards by Yukari! I love how she added the tags in the center as fun shaker shapes! 

Kimberly created a whole set of fun tags! These would be so fun to give as a little gift or holiday party favor!

This card by Larissa is so fun! I love how she used four fun tag shapes on the front and turned one into a shaker! What a fun card layout! 

Here is a sweet little jar gift by Lydia! These cute little tags are prefect for dressing up little gifts too! Wouldn't it be fun to leave this on someones desk as a fun holiday surprise?
