Birthday Card and Bookmark for a Dog Lover!

Today we are sharing an adorable birthday creation by Zsofia that is perfect for a dog lover!

For this fun card, she knew her card recipient loved dogs so she created a custom dog themed greeting.  She started by die cutting the dachshund silhouette using our Dog Silhouettes Die Set. She then cut out a tag using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. This fun tag die set includes options to create borders and pieces to go around the hole of the tag and she added those fun elements, using the dog themed paper for the top border from our A Dog's Life Paper Pad. So fun! 

She added the dog onto the tag, pairing him with some balloons cut out of glittery papers. She layered it over a fun red balloon background paper that was cut out from our Birthday Party Paper Pad using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She also used the Frames & Flags Die Set to cut out a little blue banner and added the "Happy Birthday" onto the banner using a sentiment stamp from our Birthday Oval Stamp Set.

To make this project even more fun, she created a coordinating bookmark for the recipient. She cut out the bookmark and paw print using our Bookmark Die Set. Then she added on the same dachshund die cut from our Dog Silhouettes Die Set and cut out letters to spell a name using our Essential Alphabet Die Set.

The opposite side of the bookmark features a fun dachshund themed paper pattern to match, also from our A Dog's Life Paper Pad. What a fun project!

Birthday Mice Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Bright Birthday Wishes!

Today Ellen has created a bright and colorful birthday greeting featuring our Birthday Mice Stamp Set. 

She started out by coloring the image of the two mice sharing a cupcake from our Birthday Mice Stamp Set. She colored the image in mostly neutral tones but added bright green, yellow and orange to make it pop! She cut the image out using the coordinating Birthday Mice Die Set to add it to her card. 

For her card, she made a glowing starry scene using our Cascading Stars Stencil with Yellow Neon Glitz Glitter Gel over a blue inked background. What a fun effect! She added hill along the bottom for the mice to sit on using our Land Borders Die Set with black cardstock. Then she framed the whole scene with the scallop edged frame from our Framework Die Set, cut from gray cardstock. To add to the birthday theme she added a panel of yellow confetti paper to the background using a piece from our Birthday Party Paper Pad. The "Happy Birthday" Sentiment is from our Birthday Oval Stamp Set and she masked the words and stamped them onto two colored banners that were cut out using our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. 

What a festive birthday card! The unexpected night scene is so creative and fun!

Butterfly Birthday Wishes by Larissa Heskett

Butterfly Birthday!

Today we are sharing a gorgeous butterfly birthday card by Larissa!

To create the beautiful butterfly filled background Larissa used our two piece Butterflies Stencil Set. This set features one layer of solid butterfly silhouettes and one with the wing pattern so you can easily create two color patterns. She used orange dimensional paste with the second layer to create this beautiful effect! She also added some paint splatters and orange sequins to add extra details! 

She framed her butterfly background with a black scallop edged frame that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. The birthday greeting was stamped from our Birthday Oval Stamp Set and was embossed in white onto a rounded rectangle shape that was cut out using a die from our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. 

This card would be perfect for a friend who enjoys butterflies. Isn't it fun how you create a specialized  birthday card with nearly any theme? Just add a birthday sentiment!

Two Birthday Cards and Video with Jennifer Jackson

Quick and Easy Birthday Cards

Hello! Jen here today with a duo of quick and simple birthday cards! These cards are so easy to create you'll want to copy them and make a bunch for your stash! 

To create both of these cards I used our Birthday Party Paper Pad. For the first card I cut 5 rectangles from various papers that measure 3 1/4" tall x 3/4" wide. I layered them onto a piece of yellow card stock that measures 3 1/2" tall x 4 3/4" wide. This fits perfectly inside the scalloped frame from our Frames & Flags Die Set. Then I simply added some twine and the birthday sentiment from our Birthday Oval Stamp Set. 

For this second card I created a little gift using pieces of paper from our Birthday Party Paper Pad. These pieces measure 2 1/2" tall x 3/4" wide. I added some red and white bakers twine around the paper to make it look like a string wrapped gift!

Then I added the sentiment from our Birthday Oval Stamp Set, stamped onto a white rounded edge banner from our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. The stitched yellow rectangle was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set and I layered another piece of patterned paper in the background using our Birthday Party Paper Pad.

Both cards were quick and easy and so much fun to create!

Balloon Filled Birthday Card by Zsofia Molnar

Balloon Filled Birthday! 

Balloons are perfect for celebrating special birthdays! Today we have a birthday card by Zsofia that is filled with balloons in a rainbow of bright celebratory colors! 

To create this gorgeous card she started with a panel of light gray cardstock and stenciled balloons onto it in several colors using our two piece Bokeh Balloon Stencil Set. The two layers of the stencil let you easily align and overlap the balloons for a fun colorful effect! After the panel was finished she cut it out using our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the pretty scalloped edge. 

To cut out the big balloon in the center, Zsofia used our Balloon Shaker Die Set. She also added the bow and string image, cut out with the same set. For the message she combined several sentiments from the Birthday Oval Stamp Set and stamped them stacked onto the ballon! So fun! 

This fabulous card is filled with a ton of texture too! Here is a close up so you can see all the water and pant splatters she added. What a fun detail!

Happy Birthday Card by Maria Russell

Rainbow Birthday!

Today Maria has created a rainbow of birthday wishes on this gorgeous card! 

She started by stamping the big oval image using our Birthday Oval Stamp Set. She colored the balloons and gifts in rainbow colors, adding fun little white gel pen accents. She cut the image out using the big oval from our Oval Frames Die Set to give it a fun stitched and scalloped edge. She also hand cut around the inside of the images too to give the image a fun "frame" look. 

She chose the "Happy Birthday" from the Birthday Oval Stamp Set, embossing it on white onto a small black oval. The oval was also die cut using our Oval Frames Die Set.

To add to the birthday fun, she used a confetti dot patterned piece of paper from our Birthday Party Paper Pad as her card background. This birthday card is so colorful and cheerful!

The birthday party is in full swing today!  It's our companies birthday month and we are celebrating with brand new birthday themed products!
