You're Super Card by Ellen Haxelmans
You're Super!
Today Ellen has created a fun superhero dog card that is sure to make the recipient feel appreciated!
The super card features the pup from our Dress Up Doxies wearing a superhero cape and mask! Although stamp set has a halloween theme the images in it work great for other types of cards too, like this fun superhero themed teacher card! She colored the image of the cute pup using copic markers (find full supply list on Ellens blog) and used the coordinating Dress Up Doxies Die Set to cut it out.
She created a fun city scene by adding some tall buildings from our Newton Dreams of New York Stamp Set (retiring). The sky is filled with fun glittery stars that were added on using our Cascading Stars Stencil. She also addded a hill from black cardstock using our Land Borders Die Set. The whole scene is inside a circle that was created with our Circle Frames Die Set.
She also added a bit of personalization to the inside of the card to make it teacher themed. She added an award ribbon from our Terrific Terriers Stamp Set and a sentiment from our Classy Teachers Stamp Set

Paw-some Puppy Card by Nakaba Rager

You are Paw-some!
She colored the image using soft watercolors and the no-line coloring technique. Then she cut the image out using the coordinating Dress Up Doxies Die Set. She layered the pup over a vellum circle cut out using our new Circle Frames Die Set. She added the sentiment "you are paw-some" and some paw prints from out Say Woof Stamp Set onto the vellum circle. In the background she created lime green diagonal patterned background, adding stars using our Cascading Stars Stencil with sparkly texture paste.

I Wuf You Pirate Card by Ellen Haxelmans
Pirate Puppy by the Sea!
Today Ellen has created a fun nautical scene featuring the dog wearing a pirate costume from our Dress Up Doxies Stamp Set! She colored the dog with copics, adding cute little speckled details and cut him out using the coordinating Dress Up Doxies Die Set. Then she used a bunch of other NND stamps and dies to created the fun tall scene! For the layers of sky, sand and sea, she used our Sky Borders Die Set, Land Borders Die Set and our Sea Borders Die Set to create layers of clouds, waves and sand! She added stenciled waves onto the die cut waves using our Waves Stencil. That cute crab on the bottom is from our Tides of Love Stamp Set. She added in more little fish, seaweed and shells using the little images from our Narly Mermaids Stamp Set, Purr-Maid Newton Stamp Set, Scuba Newton Stamp Set and Manatee-rific Stamp Set. She colored all these tiny little sea themed images and cut them out with their coordinating die sets.
Ellen is a genius at creating scenes! See her tips below on how she created this one!
Tips on creating this scene!
Below we have some tips from Ellen on how she created a fun tall scene!- I knew I wanted to have a sea Valentine's card with the captain dog from the Dress Up Doxies Stamp Set. For the rest of my scene I was looking out for stamps that could fit the scene in the sea and in the air. I choose a few images and colored them. It’s important also to not use not too many different colors on a card, that’s why I use a few similar colors. This makes the whole card look more cohesive.
- Then I did take out watercolor paper the largest frames from the Framework Die Set. I die cut the frame twice.

- After cutting the frames, I die cut out the borders from paper that was first cut using the same frames. I used the Land Borders Die Set and Sea Borders Die Set for that. I also took white paper to cut out the largest frames again from the framework die set. Later used the SSky Borders Die Set to make puffy clouds with that white paper.
- I colored the layered borders with Distress Inks. For the sea I also used the Waves Stencil. The Cloudy Sky Stencil stencil where used for the clouds. Then I did put all die borders together. Some of them overlap, but that’s good to have no gaps inbetween.

Trick or Treat Card by Nakaba Rager
Trick or Treat!!
To set the scene for these cuties she used the spooky house and graveyard from our Spooky Street Stamp Set. She dressed the scene up with a glittery gold moon in the sky that she added in using our Bokeh Stencil Set as a template for the circle. She also added in some die cut bats and the "trick or treat" die cut sentiment from our Halloween Trio Die Set. What a fun sweet scene with a little touch of spookiness! So perfect for Halloween!
Thank you for the fun sparkle today, Naki! If you like this project you can see more of Naki's work over on her blog, Notes from Naki. Stop by and say hello!
