Feeling Slothy?

With holiday season just around the corner it's easy to get overwhelmed. If you are feeling a bit slothy about that to do list, a little coffee might help! Today we have the perfect card to inspire you by Amy!  This card features that cute sleepy sloth from our Slothy Coffee Stamp Set! She added on a mug of coffee too, stamping it from our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set. So fun! She colored the images in neutral shades, adding pastel purple and mint for a lovely soft color palette. She cut the image out using the coordinating Slothy Christmas Die Set to layer onto her card. 

For the card base she created layers of purple and mint using our Framework Die Set. On the inner scalloped layer she also added a coffee cup pattern using our Mugs Stencil. Doesn't it go perfectly with the theme? Behind the sloth she added a vellum scalloped circle, cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set and on top she added the sentiment, stamped onto a shape that was cut out with our Ornament Shaker Die Set. Isn't it fun how this ornament shape doubles as a speech bubble!?

2018 National Coffee Day Blog Hop

Here's what I created:

For my first card I used our Coffee & Wine Stamp Set to create this fun watercolor card. I splashed some purple and brown distress inks on a watercolor panel to represent coffee and wine splatters. Then I stamped the big sentiment in black and added the little mug and wine bottle at the bottom. I used a paint brush and some distress inks to color in the images. Then I used the fishtail border from our Fancy Edges Tag Die to cut the bottom. 

For the background I stamped all the small images from the set onto a piece of kraft cardstock in a random pattern with brown ink to create a nice tonal background. I added a little strip of washi tape up the side and mounted the whole thing on a dark brown card base. 

For my second card I used that cute sloth from our Slothy Coffee Stamp Set. I stamped and colored him with copics and cut him out using the coordinating Slothy Coffee Die Set. Then I decided he needed more coffee so I pulled out our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set and stamped a few coffee mugs from that set. I colored those with copics too and cut them out using the coordinating Newton Loves Coffee Die Set. 

Then I assembled my card, adding the sentiment from the Slothy Coffee Stamp Set, embossed in white on brown circle. I added a teal scalloped border using our Sky Borders Die Set. I also added some coffee beans in the background panel from our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set. A bit of twine gives it a finishing touch!

September Reveals - Day 4 - Thankful Thoughts, Tea Rex and Slothy Coffee

Today is day 4 and our final reveal day for our September Release! We are finishing things up with a fabulous thankful sentiment set, Thankful Thoughts! Amanda created this adorable coffee card using the new Slothy Coffee Stamp Set, stamping a row of three sloths in their coffee mugs! So cute! She added the sun rays behind them using our Sunscape Stencil and cut out the postage edged panel using our Framework Die Set. 

Maria created this gorgeous Fall thank you using the words from our new Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set in the center. She framed up the words with leaves using our Autumn Leaves Die Set. She also created a fun pumpkin background for her card using our new Pumpkin Patch Stencil! 

This adorable Tea card was created by Naki using our new Tea Rex Stamp Set. She added the Tyrannosaurs drinking tea to a fun floral background that is reminiscent of a tea box! She also added a subtle stripe behind the dino using our Serene Stripes Stencil. 

Ellen created this stunning floral thank you card! She used the words "thankful" and "for everything" from our new Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set. Then she added lovely pink and purple peonies from our Peony Blooms Stamp in the corners to frame the sentiment. For the background she cut out a scallop edged panel using our Framework Die Set and then stenciled wood onto it using our new Tree Rings Stencil. 

This coffee card by Holly is too cute! She used the sloth in a coffee mug from our new Slothy Coffee Stamp Set and colored the mug in fun shades of pink and teal. She added him to her card, layering him over some fun paper strips and a coffee stain background! What a perfect card for a coffee lover! 

If you know someone who likes tea, this card by Tatiana will make them smile! She used the cute dino from our new Tea Rex Stamp Set and added him to her card along with coffee cups from the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set and the Coffee & Wine Stamp Set. She added the sentiment onto the card, creating a handmade tea bag tag! So fun! She also used the Tree Rings Stencil in the background to add some texture. 

This sloth card by Juliana is the cutest! She used that cute little sloth in a coffee mug from our new Slothy Coffee Stamp Set. Then she added some coffee beans using and image from our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set. She framed it all inside a teal frame using our Framework Die Set.

Zsofia created this lovely duo of  Fall thank you cards using our new Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set. She added the sentiments to each card, layering them over gorgeous stenciled backgrounds that were created using our new Pumpkin Patch and Tree Ring Stencils! So perfect for Fall Thank you greetings! 

This gorgeous card by Samantha uses that adorable dino from our new Tea Rex Stamp Set. He's so fun colored in bright purple and teal. She added on the "RAWR" using our Essential Alphabet Die Set and a fun background using our Tropical Leaves Stencil too!

This gorgeous Thankful card was created by Larissa. She used our new Pumpkin Patch Stencil to create that lovely background. Then she added the "thankful" sentiment from our new Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set. Behind the sentiment she nestled lovely layers of leaves that were cut out using our  Autumn Leaves Die Set. She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set to cut out the scallop edged border and flag for the sentiment. So lovely!
