Serenading Kitties Birthday Card! 

Today we are sharing this adorable music themed birthday card by Naki! For this card she featured the trio of kitties singing from our Caroling Newton Stamp Set. Although this set has a holiday theme, with a bit of creativity, Naki transformed it into an image that can be used for a birthday card! After die cutting out the kitties with the coordinating Caroling Newton Die Set, she fussy cut the tassels off the hats to make them into regular knit caps. She also covered up the holiday markings on the song books by covering their fronts in blue glitter! What a fun way to STRETCH your holiday stamps! She colored the rest of the image using watercolor markers.  For the background she used our Music Stencil to add in rows of music, layering it over pink and green distress ink. She added the sentiment, sung by those cute kitties, using words from our  Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set. Then she framed the whole scene with the scalloped rectangle die cut from our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Here's what Alix created!

Alix created this amazing caroling scene featuring our Caroling Newton Stamp Set! She colored the fun trio of kitties using crisp bright colors and really pop off the card!  She even added in that adorable tiny little caroling mouse! She fussy cut the images to add to her card but if you prefer to use a die cut, there is a coordinating Caroling Newton Die Set available too.  For her background she created a gorgeous night sky using dark colors in the background and layering sparkly trees over the top! She used our Evergreens Stencil with some sparkly green embossing pasted to create this fun effect!  Then she added a finishing touch with some light white splatter and the "fa-la-la-la meow" sentiment from our Caroling Newton Stamp Set, embossed in white!

Newton's Nook Designs & Therm O Web Inspiration Week - Day 2 with Larissa & Amanda

This week Newton's Nook Designs and Therm O Web are partnering for a fabulous inspiration week! All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to add fun foils and more to your cards using Therm O Web products with Newton's Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! Today we are featuring projects by Larissa and Amanda! 

First we have a lovely foiled Christmas caroling card by Larissa: 

Larissa created an adorable scene of the caroling kitties in front of a window. She colored those cute kitties from our Caroling Newton Stamp Set using fun bright holiday colors. Then she cut the trio of kitties out using the coordinating Caroling Newton Die Set. She also adding in those two sweet caroling mice from the Caroling Newton Stamp Set. For her scene she created a lovely window backdrop using Designer Toner Sheets (Starry Night and Rustic Winter) from Therm O Web for the window scene. For the trees on each side of the window she cut out the tall skinny trees using our new Forest Scene Builder Die Set and added foil to the die cut images using Deco Foil Toner Sheets and Gina K Designs Fancy Foil in Gold Sequins and Emerald Watercolor from Therm O Web.  On the inside of the card she used our Music Stencil and the Sentiment "Wishing you the Happiest of Holidays" from our new Ornamental Wishes Stamp Set to finish off the design!!

 Next, we have a beautiful sparkly fall Shaker card  by Amanda:

Amanda created this beautiful shaker card featuring those cute kitties and pumpkins from our Autumn Newton Stamp Set! She colored the image with copics and cut it out using the coordinating Autumn Newton Die Set. Then she created a beautiful shaker window panel using using Designer Toner Sheets (Wheat Fields) with Opal Deco Foil from Therm O Web to create the sparkly wheat pattern. She used this for the front of the shaker and framed it with a die cut frame that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She also added the "be thankful" sentiment from our Autumn Newton Stamp Set, embossed in white on a banner that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. So adorable and perfect for Fall!

Samantha created this lovely card featuring a trio of ballerinas on stage! She used the little mouse in a tutu from our new Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set and stamped and colored her three times. For her background she created spotlights with masking and distress inks. The middle mouse even moves up and down on a slider! 

Maria created this sweet meowy christmas card using our new Caroling Newton Stamp Set. She colored trio of kitties, adding sparkle to their hats. She added a cute caroling mouse on each side too! The background was created using our new Music Stencil. 

This nutcracker themed card by Juliana is so lovely! She colored all the cute characters from the new Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set and created a fun layout that includes them all! She even added in some candies from our Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set. The light colored music in the background is from our new Music Stencil. 

The coloring on this card by Amanda is so lovely and vibrant! She added the trio of kitties from our new Caroling Newton Stamp Set, adding in the little caroling mouse on top of the head! So cute! Then, for her background she used our new Music Stencil! What a fun and unique Holiday Card! 

Naki created a sweet trio of ballerina mice on her card using the new Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set! It's so cute how they are wearing different colored tutus and holding hands. She has them all on a slider too so you can pull them across the card! She also added in the "merry & bright" die cut words using our new Holiday Greetings Die Set. The scallop edged panel was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. 

The teal, red and gray color combo on this card by Zsofia are so stunning! She used the cute trio of caroling kitties from the new Caroling Newton Stamp Set, adding in two tiny caroling mice too. Then she added them in front of a background of teal music that was created using our new Music Stencil. She added the "be merry" using the new Holiday Greetings Die Set with glittery red paper. The postage edged panel was also cut out using our Framework Die Set. 

Larissa used a waterfall style card to feature all the cute little mice from our new Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set! You can pull the lever on the side to see them flip across the stage! What a fun way to use several images from a set to create an awesome interactive card! 

This sweet card by Tatiana features those lovely kitties singing christmas tunes! She colored the trio of kitties from our new Caroling Newton Stamp Set and cut them out with the coordinating die set. She added them in front of a fun music background that was created using our new Music Stencil! The scallop edged panel was cut out using the Frames & Flags Die Set.

Holly created this awesome holiday card featuring those mice dressed as Nutcracker characters from our new Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set. She  cut them all out with the coordinating die set and added them on her card in front of fun blue circles! Inside the circles she added some snow using our Petite Snow Stencil.

This Christmas card by Ellen is so pretty with the bright pink and purple colors! She colored the kitties from the Caroling Newton Stamp Set and added the caroling mouse in front too. She added those lovely birch trees from our new Forest Scene Builder Die Set in the background. For her snow, she die cut some glittery paper using our Sea Borders Die Set. For the postage edged panel was die cut using our our Framework Die Set.
