Digging up some Valentine Fun!

Today Donna is sharing a Valentine that is perfect for sending to a dog owner for Valentine's Day! 

She features that adorable pup from our Puppy Heart Stamp Set paired with our Fractured Card Layout Die Set and our Love & Meows Paper Pad.

She starts by stamping and coloring the puppy, giving him a bright red heart for Valentine's Day. The image from this set comes with a blank heart and several sentiments that fit inside it so you can choose your favorite. For this card Donna chose "I really DIG you!" which is a perfect for a dog lover on Valentine's Day!

The card base uses our Fractured Card Layout Die Set with papers from our Love & Meows Paper Pad.  Once the papers are cut using this fun die, you just assemble them with some glue and add your image to the center. Donna also added a heart behind the image using our Heart Frames Die Set to give it a bit more love!

You could make more adorable valentine cards using this layout with any of our other valentine papers. You can find them all in the Valentine category on our site

Dog & Cat Valentine Card by Donna Idlet

Dogs or Cats? How about BOTH!

We know that some people prefer dogs and some prefer cats but this card by Donna is perfect for either, or for someone who loves BOTH! 

To create this fun dog and cat combo she started out by stamping the dog and cat holding a heart from our Puppy Heart Stamp Set and our Newton's Heart Stamp Set. These sets are simliar in design so they pair perfectly together! Each set features an empty heart, being held by the dog or cat and several fun sentiments that fit inside it so you have your choice of messages to add to your card. For her card Donna added "You make my tail wag!" inside the dog's heart and "You make my heart purr!" inside the cat's heart! So fun! She colored both images using alcohol markers and then cut them out using the coordinating Puppy Heart Die Set and Newton's Heart Die Set. 

For her card, she started with a white card base and added on two fun patterned papers from our Love & Meows Paper Pad, framed with a thin edge of black. Then she added a fun pink scalloped heart to the center, cut out using our Heart Frames Die Set and layered the dog and cat on top! 

What a fun way to make a Valentine for a pet lover!

Woof You Be Mine? Card by Diane Morales

Woof You be Mine?!

Today Diane has created an adorable Valentine card that is perfect for a dog lover! 

To create this cute card she started by stamping the cute pup holding a heart from our Puppy Heart Stamp Set. The heart on this stamp is blank and has several sentiments that fit inside. She chose "woof you be mine?" and then colored the image with alcohol markers. She cut the image out using the coordinating Puppy Heart Die Set before layering it onto her card. 

For her card she started with a pink card base and then cut chose a paper from our Love & Woofs Paper Pad. The puppies on the page she  match the image of the dog perfectly! She cut the paper into three strips to make her background. Then she layered the puppy on the top, layering it with an oval that was cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set.

Heart Shaped Box of Chocolates by Amanda Wilcox

Woof you be Mine?

Today we are sharing an adorable Valentine treat by Amanda! Today she has created a heart shaped box to hold chocolates with a puppy on the lid! What a fun way to create a special treat for a recipient who loves dogs!

She started by cutting out two big red hearts using our Heart Frames Die Set.  These will be the box top and bottom. She then cut out the scallop edged heart using the Heart Frames Die Set to layer on the box lid. This heart was cut from a page of our Love & Woofs Paper Pad that was filled with dog bones. 

Next, she stamped and colored the cute pup from our Puppy Heart Stamp Set along with two little bones. She colored the pup and bones in neutral colors and then colored the heart a bright teal for a fun pop of color. This set has a variety of sentiments that fit inside the heart and she choose "Woof you be mine?" for her fun project today. She cut the images out using the coordinating Puppy Heart Die Set and layered them onto her heart box lid along with some fun little heart embellishments. 

Now that the lid was decorated, she folded paper strips into a dimensional triangle and adhered it to the base to make a spot to hold the chocolates. Yum!
