Donut Kitty!

This yummy donut card by Amanda is perfect for letting someone know you care, in the sweetest way! 

She created this fun card using the kitty hanging from a donut from our Newton's Donut Stamp Set. She colored the kitty in orange, adding fun spots to the fur for texture. The donut was colored in neutrals with chocolate frosting, of course! She added color and glitter onto the sprinkles too! The image was cut out using the coordinating Newton's Donut Die Set. 

For the card base she used prints from our new Love & Meows Paper Pad, choosing patterns in browns and blues to give it a bit of a masculine feeling. she cut the background paw print panel out with our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the scalloped edge. Then she used our Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the blue polka dot paper. The sentiment was stamped into a banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set and she added tiny hearts, cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set.

Newton’s Donut Shaker Card by May Guest Designer Rina Galit

Hi Everyone!

I just adore the Newton’s Donut Stamp Set.  I decided to make a shaker card and wanted to make the donut sprinkles perfectly match the shaker bits. 

I first colored and cut the Newton Donut image in copic markers in these colors:

Grey – W00, W1, W3

Pink – R00, R20

Brown – E31, E34

Sprinkles – B04, RV04, R24, Y00, Y23

I cut out a card front at 4 ¼, 5 ½ and used a scallop circle die to cut out the window to the shaker.  You can also use a circle, but I thought the scallop added a fun detail.  I inked half the card front with Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry.  I used the sentiment “Life is better with sprinkles” and stamped that to the bottom right of the card.  Adhere a piece of acetate behind the card front and line the circle opening with one layer of foam tape, also add foam tape to cover the back.  I used sequins and shaker bits to match my sprinkles which adds a fun element to the card.  Adhere a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ paper to the back of the shaker mechanism to the foam tape.  Adhere the shaker mechanism to a standard sized card base and then add the Newton Donut image to the left of the stamp sentiment. 

I always like added sparkle so I added a few black paint splatters along with mini gold stars to the card front.

This adorable donut card by Samantha will make you smile! She used the fun image of Newton inside a giant donut from the new Newton's Donut Stamp Set and layered it over a fun distress inked background! She added on the funny "Donut know what I'd do without Mew" Sentiment too. 

Ellen created a whole series of moving cards using the fun new Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set. For each card she colored a cute kitty in a moving box. Then she added some fun hearts behind them using the Tumbling Hearts Stencil and framed them in little scallop edged frames using the new Framework Die Set.

This sweet and simple donut card was created by Jennifer She used the cute kitty and donut from our new Newton's Donut Stamp Set as the focal image for her card and added  the "Life is better with sprinkles" Sentiment. She finished her cute card with some fun washi tape around the sides and a lime green card base. 

This card by Naki will make you laugh! She used the kitty who is just barely fitting in the box from our new Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set. Then she created her own custom message to say "If I fits I sits" using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. So funny! 

Larissa created a fun shaker card using the new Newton's Donut Stamp Set. She created a shaker frame using the scallop edged frames from the new Framework Die Set. She stamped the little donuts and colored them to put inside her shaker along with some sprinkles. Adorable!

This card by Amanda would be perfect to send to a cat owner who knows that cats love boxes more than gifts! She colored the cute image of the kitty in the box using our new Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set and paired it with the sentiment, adding it to a stitched rectangle panel that was cut our using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

This adorable donut card was created by Maria. She colored that cute kitty and donut image from our new Newton's Donut Stamp Set and layered it over a fun tag set that was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She also added in a little bow from our Pines & Holly Die Set. To finish the card off she dry embossed the fun postage stamp edge using the new Framework Die Set.

Holly created this fun card using our new Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set. She colored the image of the kitty and boxes and layered it over a fun Scallop Edged Rectangle panel that was die cut using the new Framework Die Set. She also used the Frames & Flags Die Set to add on the banner for the "We've moved" Sentiment.
