We are super excited to announce we are adding Donna Idlet to our Design Team! She is going to be sharing her creative talents with us in 2022 and will begin designing with our team this month. We can't wait to see what she creates!

Hello, my name is Donna Idlet and I am so excited about joining Newton’s Nook Designs team. I have been a fan of Newton for many years. I live in Northern Virginia which is just 30 minutes away from Washington, DC. I am a wife, mother and mema. My husband is retired from the military who served 30 years of service. He is truly an amazing husband, father, and papa who is dedicated to his family and supports me in all of my endeavors. I have a son, a daughter and three beautiful grandchildren, who are the loves of my life.

My travels have been vast as I was fortunate to live abroad and in multiple states around the Country. The most interesting thing about traveling is seeing all the beauty that surrounds the World which has shaped my life and eye for creativity. I have always loved crafting and I inherited that trait honestly because my mother was a crafter and a quilter.  I have been making cards for over 15 years. I love, love, love making cards, altered art, and photography. I also love Scrapbooking--traditional and digital. I always strive to integrate my joys that I captured or created in my designs to share on social media. I just wish there were more hours in the day.

I love coloring with Copics and experiencing with other mediums. I like clean lines, coloring, layering and elegance. I love learning new techniques and playing with all sorts of stamps, digital images, dies and papers. My style varies but it is always elegant and well put together.

Hi, I'm Samantha Mann and I couldn't be happier to continue for another term with Newton's Nook Designs!! My husband and I have lived all over the US, from Washington State to Florida, but we're currently in hot, humid, coastal South Carolina! We have two boys (who I usually call my little Menn, even if they're not-so-little anymore)! I have always been in love with school supplies (ever since elementary school when I would save my nickels to buy cute pencils or erasers!) and that love just grew and developed into my crazy obsession (read: passion!) of paper crafting! I love making cards and even dabble with the occasional scrapbook layout! You can always find me with some inky fingers and lots of ink blending! I'm definitely quirky, and love to make playful, humorous sentiments for my cards (and layouts)! I work full time for an advertising company and spend every other moment I can paper crafting, reading and enjoying the little moments in everyday family life.

I've always been artsy and even studied art. In my current job I don’t do anything creative and that’s why I really like to paint, draw and of course create cards in my free time. Even till Davey gets nuts of it haha! As a big Newton’s Nook Designs fan, I'm so blessed and happy to be a part of this awesome team for another term! Hi crafty friends! My name is Tina and I'm so excited to be a part of this super creative and talented design team!! I am a music teacher and live in sunny Southern California. Arts & crafts and music have been my passion from as far back as I can remember. I enjoy all papercrafts but especially love crafting with cute critters. I am a wife to an amazing husband who supports my stamp addiction and the mother of 2 wonderful kids currently in college. I also have 2 pups, 2 cats and a conure in my family. I love sharing my crafty creations on my little blog and YouTube channel called The Scrappin Rabbit. It is such an honor to be a part of the Newton's Nook design team. We live on our Family Farm with an Entourage of Animals, and I enjoy EVERY aspect of living a rural life. I’m a Certified Surgical Technician, but I’m very blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy crafting in every way, jewelry making, baking/cooking, gardening, singing, nature and taking photos. I LOVE Spending time with my Family and Friends and meeting/crafting with other creative people I’ve found/met online and through other events! Hello! My name is Zsofia Molnar and I am a card maker from Hungary. I am thrilled to join this amazing Design Team. I live in beautiful Budapest with my 2 kids (11 and 8 years old) and the most loving husband ever. We are a truly trilingual family as my husband is Egyptian and we communicate with each other in English. I started paper crafting more or less 8 years ago when I was fascinated by all the pretty scrapbook layouts. I have never even made a single one, but rather fell in love with making cards and sharing handmade kindness with my family and friends. I am an addict since then, I have to be crafty every day to feel good. This is my little escape. I love cute critters, florals and I really enjoy building scenes with layers. Hello stampers and crafters. My name is Maria Russell and I am so THRILLED to be a part of the Newton’s Nook Designs design team.  My husband and I have lived all over the world and we have two talented, beautiful children (now adults).

My love for paper crafting began in high school when my friends and I wrote each other letters, took photos, kept a journal and scrapbooks.  It kind of looked like a smash-book because I had everything in there from ticket stubs, to beautiful napkins, to candy wrapper.  Paper crafting is very therapeutic for me.  I only ventured into card making in 2013 and I am hooked!  I was really honored when one of my cards got published at Scrapbook and Cards magazine, Creative Cards Volume I in 2015.

Hi crafty friends! My name is Farhana and I am so excited right now to be part of the Newton's Nook team! I've been crafting for almost 10 years now. It's always been paper crafts, transitioning from scrapbooking to cardmaking. Newton Nook Design stamps were some of my firsts from back in 2013, so there are many retired sets in my stashing and the Inky Paws card challenge was also the first challenge that I ever did! With two littles at home, crafting gives me a much needed break after bedtime! I can't wait to create with NND products and inspire all of you! Critter stamps are cute, but florals will always be my favourite! 

When I'm not crafting or running after the littles, you'll find me baking in the kitchen or taking in the great outdoors here in WA! I'm super excited to be here and see what 2022 has in store for all of us!

I always loved everything handmade and crafty related and tried all kinds of hobbies from jewelry making to crocheting until I discovered and felt in love with a magical world of paper crafting. Cardmaking and coloring became my relaxing getaway.

I like getting inky, experimenting, stretching my supplies, learning new techniques and coloring with any medium, especially cat images which I often make look like my kitties.

We have a new addition to our Design Team!  A big warm welcome to Amy!

We are so excited to have Amy Tsuruta joining our team! We have always been big fans of Amy's work and are so happy to have her sharing and creating with our team on the Newton's Nook Designs blog! Her cards are filled with gorgeous color combos and creative layouts that will surely make you smile! Amy will begin designing with our team with the new Release in August and we can't wait to share what she creates!

Hey there, my name is Amy and I'm thrilled to be a new designer on the awesome Newton's Nook Designs' team!  I'm a Canadian living in Washington State.  I work part-time for a biotech company and the rest of the time you can usually find me in my craft room drinking coffee and designing cards. I remember being crafty when I was in elementary school but I feel like things really started when I signed up to be my youngest's co-op preschool's Scrapbook Coordinator. Honestly, I had never scrapbooked at that point but I had so much fun managing it and we still have that scrapbook from 19 years ago [wow].  My style has changed so much over the years, these days I'm smitten with pastels but I still love designing with bright and bold colors too.  You can find me on my blog or IG.

We even have a fun new project created by Amy to share with you today! She used our Lemon Twist Stamp Set to create a fun citrus themed card! She stamped the image of the lemon slice three times and colored it in orange, pink and yellow. She cut the slices out using the coordinating Lemon Twist Die Set. Then she added them to a beautiful slimline card!

She used our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to create the fun slimline die cut shape with the trio of holes and for the background with the scalloped edge. She placed a slice of citrus over each circle cut out and then used our Essential Alphabet Die Set to add in the custom sentiment, "You are the zest" placed between the citrus slices! So clever!

Cards and Coffee Time

Hello crafty friends! My name is Tina and I am so happy to meet you here at Newton's Nook. Happy dance alert!! I am super excited to be part of this Incredible and Talented Design Team. I am a wife, married to the love of my life. I am also a mother of three children super creative and wonderful kids that more often than not drive me crazy but keep me young at heart My passion is baking and creating anything papercraft:) My first memory of creating was in grade school, they handed out glue, scissors and construction paper, I knew it would turn into a love. Same goes with baking, in fact the hubby and I own a Bakery & Cafe in Oklahoma. My online paper crafting journey started a few years ago and now, with the help of staff, I am able to break away from work early and create until my hearts content. That's when I started my Blog & YouTube Channel called Cards and Coffee Time. Be it a cupcake or a card, creating something that is handmade and to give it with someone with love, makes me happy. I encourage you to do what you love and to love what you do!! I am honored to be part of the Newton's Nook Design Team and can't wait to create for you all! Crafty Hugs!

Hello Newton lovers! My name is Nakaba Rager but most people call me Naki. I am originally from Japan, came to the US to learn the English language in 1996, I met my husband in 1998 and got married 9 months later! We have 4 beautiful children together (boy, boy&girl twins, and girl) and we also have 2 boy cats! I met card making in 2012 but it was 2 years later that it became my true passion (AKA obsession) when I was introduced to many small companies including Newton's Nook Designs! I started to play many challenges and here I am, on the NND DT! Jen's adorable and sweet designs truly make me happy, and being on this DT is a dream comes true! I am so honored to be on the same team as these so very talented AND super fun and sweet ladies! Not to mention all you Newton lovers are so creative and awesome, too! I always loved everything handmade and crafty related and tried all kinds of hobbies from jewelry making to crocheting until I discovered and felt in love with a magical world of paper crafting. Cardmaking and coloring became my relaxing getaway.

I like getting inky, experimenting, stretching my supplies, learning new techniques and coloring with any medium, especially cat images which I often make look like my kitties.
