Graduation Card by Samantha Mann

Congratulations to a Graduate! 

Today we have a fun congratulations by Samantha that is perfect for a graduate! 

For this creative card she used the image of the kitty in the suitcase from our retiring Stowaway Newton Stamp Set. She colored the image in gorgeous watercolors and cut it out using the coordinating Stowaway Newton Die Set. Next, she added a graduation hat from our Newton's Graduation Stamp Set. So cute! 

For the card background she created a fun woodgrain pattern using our Hardwood Stencil (also retiring) along the side with some metallic gel. She layered the kitty image over the pattern and added the fun  sentiment from our Newton's Graduation Stamp Set into a blue speech bubble over the kitties head. The speech bubble was die cut using our Speech Bubbles Die Set. The finishing touch is the "Congratulations" sentiment, which was embossed in white onto the skinny banner from our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. What a fun way to celebrate a graduation!

Miss You Card by Nakaba Rager

Miss You!

This sweet card by Naki features kitties stuck in boxes, just like many of us are stuck in our houses right now! It would be the perfect for sending to someone who you miss to let them know you are thinking of them. She created this sweet card using the kitties in boxes from our Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set. She colored the images using soft pencil colors and then cut them out using the coordinating Newton Loves Boxes Die Set. 

For that gorgeous heart background she repeatedly stamped hearts using the little bold hearts from our Furr-ever Friends Stamp Set in a rainbow of colors, leaving an opening in the upper left corner for the sentiment. She added some shimmer spray over the whole background to add a bit of sparkle. 

To finish this adorable card, she embossed the sentiment using our Stowaway Newton Stamp Set.

Bon Voyage Card by Nakaba Rager

Bon Voyage!

Today we are sharing an adorable kitty card by Naki! She was inspired by a set of bracelets to create this fun travel card! She used the sweet image of the kitty in the suitcases from our Stowaway Newton Stamp Set and colored it with gorgeous bright pastels. Isn't is so awesome how she added all those spots and trips to the kitty!? She cut the image out using the coordinating Stowaway Newton Die Set to add it to her card. She also added the "bon voyage" sentiment, die cut in gold. This sentiment is a bonus die cut that comes with the Stowaway Newton Die Set! She layered everything over a fun patterned paper with arrows and aded the "lets go on an adventure" sentiment in the lower left corner, embossing it in light blue on a piece of vellum! So lovely!

Going Somewhere Card by Samantha Mann

Going Somewhere?
This cute 'bon voyage' inspired card is perfect for your friends or family going on a trip! Samantha used the Stowaway Newton stamp set and colored in the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
The sleepy newton in the suitcases image was die cut with the coordinating dies!

The background was masked off with a rectangle and then the Tropical Leaves Stencil was placed on top! Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral were ink blended through the stencil, and then the border was finished with Antique linen!
The small images and phrase "Can I stow away?" was stamped in a light grey ink in the background!

Newton's Nook Designs & Therm O Web Inspiration Week - Day 2 with Amanda & Samantha

Today is day two of our inspiration week with Newton's Nook Designs and Therm O Web! All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to add fun foils and more to your cards using Therm O Web products with Newton's Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win! 

Today we are featuring projects by Amanda and Samantha! 

First up is the this gorgeous shaker card by Amanda:

For her card, Amanda used the new Clear Toner Sheets (Groovy) by Therm O Web for her shaker window. She foiled the pattern on the clear sheet using Deco Foil in Spring Green from Therm O Web and a heat laminator to make the yummy green pattern on the front of the shaker! Once the shaker portion of her card was created she added florals to her card using our Lovely Blooms Stamp Set and Die Set.  She stamped the mason jar and flowers from the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set, colored them in gorgeous bright colors, and trimmed them out with the coordinating Lovely Blooms Die set. She assembled them into a big and beautiful Bouquet in front of the shaker window. Then she finished the card off with the "thinking of you" sentiment from the Beautiful Wings Stamp Set. How lovely!

Next we have two beautiful cards using foil  by Samantha: 

For first card, Samantha used created a gorgeous little circle of foiled waves using our Waves Stencil and the Deco Foil Transfer Gel from Therm O Web. Once the transfer gel was dry, she added on pieces of Deco Foil by Therm O Web in Aqua, Silver Shattered Glass and Spring Green colors and heat set it with a laminator! So pretty! She then colored that sweet mermaid from our Mermaid Crossing Stamp Set and fussy cut it out to layer over the waves. She added the "have a fin-tastic birthday" sentiment on a black banner that she cut out using the little banner from our Frames & Flags Die Set. 

For her second card, Samantha created lovely foiled buildings! She used the Deco Foil Transfer Gel from Therm O Web and smeared it all over a piece of cardstock. Once the gel was dry, she foiled sections of the cardstock using several different colors of Deco Foil by Therm O Web. The foil colors she used were Aqua, Silver Shattered Glass, Spring Green, Gold Shattered Glass, Red Rouge and Pink Melon. She stamped and embossed the buildings on top of the foiled colors and fussy cut them out to add onto her card! For the buildings she used images from both Newton Dreams of London and Newton Dreams of New York. She added the "lets go on an adventure" sentiment from the Stowaway Newton Stamp Set, embossing it with white embossing powder on a black banner that she cut out using the little banner from our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Ellen created this adorable scene using the kitty from the new Stowaway Newton Stamp Set. She added in some layers of grass using our Land Borders Die Set and created that fun pawprint background using our new Pawprints Stencil too!

Cheers to rainbow drinks! Juliana created this gorgeous rainbow of drinks using images from our new Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set. Isn't it cool how the watercolor rainbow matches the drinks? She also created a fun sentiment using the bonus "cheers" word die that is included with the coordinating Cocktail Mixer Die set. 

Bon Voyage! Tatiana created this sweet card using the kitty image from the new Stowaway Newton Stamp Set, colored with bright pastels! Inside the frame is a cute background created with our new Pawprints Stencil. She also included the Bon Voyage sentiment, which is a bonus word die included with the Stowaway Newton Die Set.

This card by Holly reminds me of  poolside drinks! She created a fun sparkly wave background using our new Waves Stencil and used it as a setting for two yummy drinks from our new Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set! What fun!

Jennifer created this adorable card using bright colors for the suitcases and kitty from the Stowaway Newton Stamp Set. She also added in fun yellow paw prints using the new Pawprints Stencil! 

This cheerful card by Larissa is perfect for celebrating! She used the Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set to create a fun tropical drink for the center of her card. Then she used "cheers" die cut from the the coordinating Cocktail Mixer Die Set to create fun cut outs in the background!

Samantha used the Stowaway Newton Stamp Set along with the Pawprints Stencil to create this fun card! The stack of black suitcases is the perfect setting for the cat and colorful clothing! 

This card by Amanda is so fun! She used a trio of yummy drinks from our Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set and created fun little circles of color behind them! The added sparkle really makes them pop! 

This awesome card by Naki will give you the travel bug! She used the image of Newton in his suitcases from the Stowaway Newton Stamp Set along alsong with some pretty patterned travel papers! She also included the Bon Voyage sentiment, which is a bonus word die included with the Stowaway Newton Die Set.
