Plant-astic Kitties!

Today Zsofia a fun plant themed card featuring our Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set! 

For this card she started by stamping the image of the kitty in the basket from our Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set. She stamped the image twice and colored the leaves and baskets the same but gave the kitties different colors. So cute! She cut the images out using the coordinating Newton's Hanging Basket Die Set. 

For her card she created a slimline card layout. She used the scallop edged die from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set for the bright teal panel. Then she used the die with three windows from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set to cut a yellow-green frame and layered that over the top. She placed a kitty on each side, leaving the center for the sentiment. For the sentiment she chose to use the "you're Plant-astic" from our  Succulent Garden Stamp Set. What a great combination!

Meow's it Going? Slimline Card by Amanda Wilcox

Meows it Going?

What is better than receiving a happy hello in the mail? Today we're sharing a card by Amanda that would certainly make someone smile if they found it in their mailbox!

For this adorable card, Amanda features the trio of kitties playing outdoors from our Captivated Kittens Stamp Set. She stamped and colored each image using gorgeous spring tones and giving each kitty a different fur color. Then she cut the trio out using the coordinating Captivated Kittens Die Set. 

For the card base, she choose to create a slimline card to give room to showcase all three images! She inked the card base with the fun pattern from our Basketweave Stencil. Then she used our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set to cut a frame. This is perfect because it has three square windows and each kitty gets his own little scene. Inside each window frame she used our Clouds Stencil and Hills & Grass Stencil to create the little scenes. Then she assembled it all together, using dimensional adhesives to give the images some height. 

For the sentiment, she used our Speech Bubbles Die Set to cut a speech bubble and stamped "Meow's it going" inside. So adorable!

Squeak-sons Greetings Holiday Mouse card by Maria Russell

Peace & Joy

Today Maria has created an adorable mouse themed slimline card that is filled with holiday fun!

Maria stamped the adorable trio of mice on this card using our  Naughty or Mice Stamp Set. She colored them using a vibrant holiday color palette filled with teals and reds. The images were cut out using the coordinating Naughty or Mice Die Set.

For her card base, she created a fun slimline layout. She cut a white scallop edged layer using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set for the base and layered the long red frame with three windows from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set over the top. Inside each window she created a little scene by ink blending a sky in a different colors and layering a white snow over the top. The snowy hills were cut out using our Land Borders Die Set and she added starry details to the sky with a white gel pen. 

For a finishing touch she added a glittery red bow to the top, cut out using the bow from our Pines & Holly Die Set. She also added the sentiment "SQUEAK-sons greetings!" embossed in white on to a piece of black card stock and cut out by hand.

Mini Summer Envelopes by Ellen Haxelmans

 

Mini Envelopes for Summer!

Today Ellen is sharing how she decorated some mini envelopes with a summer theme! Perfect for tucking a little note into a loved one's lunch box or bag! 

Here's a look at the first envelope:

For this one she used the kitty from our Kitten Beach Stamp Set. Isn't the kitty so cute lounging in the beach chair? She colored the image with copic markers, adding speckles to the fur for texture and cut it out using the coordinating Kitten Beach Die Set. For the background she cut a piece of patterned paper using our Summertime Paper Pad and layered the "hello summer" sentiment from our Flamingo Oval Stamp Set on top, embossing it onto a ticket shape that was cut out using our Framework Die Set. 

She also added little die cut heart on the envelope flap using a heart from our Heart Frames Die Set.

For this adorable beach design she used our beach design she features the car carrying a surfboard from our Beach Bound Stamp Set. She colored the image and cut it out using the coordinating Beach Bound Die Set. For the green striped background she again used a piece of paper from our Summertime Paper Pad, cut to fit on the envelope. Then she added a yellow banner (cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set) and a scalloped square (cut out using our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set). The surf's up" sentiment is from the Beach Bound Stamp Set. 

She also added little die cut detail on the envelope flap using a bow from our Pines & Holly Die Set.

A Dino-mite Christmas Slimline Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Have a Dino-mite Christmas!

Today Ellen has created an adorable dinosaur card that is perfect for sending fun holiday wishes! 

Ellen used our two of the cute holiday dinosaurs from our new Prehistoric Christmas Stamp Set, the "tree-ceratops" and the "santa-saurus". She colored them in fun brright colors and added them to a slimline card. 

For her slimline card, she created a white slimline card base. Then she added the long lime green panel with the scalloped border using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. Over that she layered the darker green stitched panel with three windows using our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set. Inside each window she used a piece of gingham pattern paper from our new Meowy Christmas Paper Pad along with a snow hill that was die cut using our Sea Borders Die Set. The little trees and sentiments are also from the Prehistoric Christmas Stamp Set. What a fun and unique holiday card!

Fluttering By...Card by Farhana Rahman

Butterfly Slimline Birthday Card!

Today we are fluttering by with a fun birthday card by Farhana! This beautiful card features the pretty butterflies from our Monarchs Stamp Set. She stamped and embossed them with gold embossing powder and then added ink blends over the top. Aren't they so pretty!? She cut her images out by hand but if you don't like to fussy cut, you could use the coordinating Monarchs Die Set. 

For the slimline card base, she used the large scalloped edge die from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. Then she used our Slimline Masking Circles & Squares Stencil Set  to mask over her die cut and stenciled flowers over the masked areas using our Petite Flowers Stencil using a blend of yellow, orange and red to create that lovely ombré flower background!  In the center image she added the sentiment, also from the Monarchs Stamp Set. 

Over the top of this background she added shaker frame by die cut the trio of windows using our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set. She popped up the frame, layering it with dimensionals and acetate and filled the inside of each window with sparkly embellishments that match the colors. 

The butterflies were added over the top of the windows to finish this amazing card.

Kitty Birthday Cake Slimline Card by Tina Herbeck

A Kitty Birthday Card!

Today Tina is sharing an adorable slimline birthday card featuring two of our favorite Newton stamp sets! In the center she features the kitty with the cake from our Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set and the kitties on the top and bottom are stamped from our Newton's Antics Stamp Set. She added birthday hats to all three kitties using the birthday hat from the Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set. Each kitty is colored with unique fur colors using copic markers.  She also added on the toy mouse, heart, toy ball and ball of yarn from our Newton's Antics Stamp Set. Since she changed the image shapes by adding the hats she used her Scan N Cut to cut out the images. But if you want to add the hats on separately you could cut everything out using the coordinating dies too (Newton's Antics Die Set, Newton Loves Cake Die Set). 

To create the slimline card, she used cut a purple scallop edged frame using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. On top of that she added the frame with 3 square windows from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set. Each window has an ink blended square behind it that was created using our Slimline Masking Circles & Squares Stencil Set with distress inks. This stencil is sized to coordinate perfectly with the square window frames! 

She also mixed the sentiments from the Newton's Antics Stamp Set and Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set to create a fun kitty themed message inside each window.

Let Love Bloom Slimline Shaker Card by Amanda Wilcox

Let Love Bloom!

What color of rose is your favorite? Yellow roses are definitely on the top of my list of my list! If you like yellow roses, you will adore this beautiful card by Amanda today. She started out by stamping the flowers from our Roses Stamp Set and coloring them in lovely yellow tones. She cut the flower image out using the coordinating Roses Die Set.

For her card, she chose to create a slimline card layout. She used our new Slimline Circles & Squares Masking Stencil to create a trio squares in soft pink. Then she used the frame from our  Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set to create a shaker window! This frame fits perfectly over the stenciled squares. To add a scallop edged frame behind the whole thing she used the large die from the Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set.  

This shaker window is filled with iridescent circle shapes and is the perfect backdrop for the lovely roses to sit on top. For the sentiment, she added the "Let Love Bloom" Sentiment from our Heartfelt Roses Stamp Set, stamped onto a white banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set. 

In this close up, you can see all the shimmer from the shaker window and the bit of added sparkle on the flower too!

This incredible floral card by Amanda would be perfect to send to a friend for Valentine's Day or could be used for wedding, engagement or anniversary card too!

Happy Holiday Slimline Card by Zsofia Molnar

Happy Holidays!

Have you tried making slimline cards yet? If not, you will surely be inpired to try them after seeing this adorable card by by Zsofia! She combined lovely ladies from two holiday stamps on this card. The girl with the box full of decorations is from our Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set and the girl with the loads of gifts is from our Christmas Haul Stamp Set. She colored them both using the lovely red, green ad teal color combo and trimmed them out using their coordinating die sets (Christmas Trimmings Die Set and Christmas Haul Die Set). 

For the card, she created a slimline panel covered in trees by using our Tiny Trees Stencil.  Then she used our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to add the panel with the tree circle cut outs. These are perfect for framing the two girls on each side. She added the sentiment from the Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set in the center. The stitched green frame around this panel was added using our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set and trimming out the center pieces.

Slimline Christmas Shaker Card by Amanda Wilcox

Loads of Holiday Cheer!

Today we are sharing a fun and festive slimline shaker card by Amanda! She showcases three of the vehicles laden with holiday decor and gifts from our Destination Christmas Stamp Set. She colored the images in fun and festive colors and cut them out using the coordinating Destination Christmas Die Set. She added three extra gifts to the roof of the station wagon, using the single gift image, also from the Destination Christmas Stamp Set. 

Once all the images were colored and trimmed out she added them onto a fun slimline shaker card. To create the shaker window frame she used the stitched square window cut out from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set, which perfectly frames the images of the vehicles. Behind them she created a scalloped frame with blue cardstock using the largest die from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She also added snowflakes to the background with our Snowfall Roundabout Stamp Set. Then she assembled the layers together with some dimension between them to allow room for fun little sprinkles and sequins! 

The finishing touch is the sentiment, Loads of Holiday Cheer" from the  Destination Christmas Stamp Set. It was stamped onto a banner cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set.
