Cat Window Card by Samantha Mann

Window Sitting!

If you have cats you know how much they love sitting in windows. Today Samantha used the cats from our Cat Silhouettes Die Set and created a unique window scene with die cuts. 

To create the window frame she used the die from our Frames & Tags Die Set, cutting it out from gray cardstock. She inked up a panel to go behind the frame using distress oxide inks in shades of pink. This created her window.

For the wall she created "wallpaper" by using a piece of patterned paper with tiny gray hearts from our Love & Meows Paper Pad. She cut the paper just a bit short of the card height to leave a white space for the "floor." 

To create the curtain she cut out a big curve using our Land Borders Die Set with some textured vellum paper. She added a sash by using the Land Borders Die Set again with pink paper, cutting it twice close together to create a curve with two stitching lines. This is such a unique use of the Land Borders Die!! She added a pink bow using the bow from our Pines & Holly Die Set.

She assembled the window and curtain onto her card and added the trio of black kitties that were cut out using the Cat Silhouettes Die Set. The finishing touch is the sentiment "from MEOW to you" from our Cat-itude Stamp Set. She embossed the sentiment in white onto a banner that was cut out using our Bookmark Die Set.

This scene is so adorable and it would be great to send to a cat lover. The touch of pink would even make it a great Valentine card!

Have a Purr-fect Day Card by Diane Morales

Purr-fect Day!

Today Diane has created a sweet kitty card that is purr-fect for sending smiles! This card was inspired by all the flowers she is seeing in her neighborhood this spring!

For this fun card she started out by stamping the kitty surrounded by flowers and butterflies from our Newton's Flower Garden Stamp Set. She colored the image using neutral colors on the kitty and bright reds and yellows for the flowers and butterflies. She also stamped and colored two additional butterfly images. Everything was then cut out using the coordinating Newton's Flower Garden Die Set. 

For her card base she used our Floral Lace Stencil with some white pigment ink and dark red ink to create a fun floral background. She cut this panel out using the stitched rectangle from our Basic Frames Die Set to add a fun stitched edge on her card. 

She then added the kitty and butterflies onto her card and the sentiment, "Have a purr-fect Day!" stamped from the Cat-itude Stamp Set onto a white bubble that was cut out using our Speech Bubble Die Set.

Cuddle Puddle Scrapbook Layout by Samantha Mann

A Kitty Cuddle Puddle 

Today we are sharing an adorable kitty scrapbook page by Samantha!

This beautiful card features Samanthas adorable kitties and several of our cat themed products!

Samantha created a fun circle of cat themed patterns using our Meow Stencil with texture paste. Then she added various colors of paint over the top. She also added stamped pawprints, kitty faces and the sentiment "because cats" using our  Cat-itude Stamp Set with black ink. To add a fun pop of pattern, she used our Sky Scene Builder Die Set to cut out stars from patteren pieces taken from our Birthday Meows Paper Pad.  She also tore away a section of her paper on the left side and tucked a patterened paper behind it, also from our Birthday Meows Paper Pad. So fun!

Cat-itude Cards by Amanda Wilcox

Cat-itude!

Today we are sharing a trio of cat themed cards by Amanda that are perfect for sending greetings to the cat lovers in your life! Plus, they're quick and easy to create! 

For this  fun trio she started with fun cat themed papers from our A Cat's Life Paper Pad. She cut all three background pieces at the same time so the pieces all mixed and matched like a puzzle. She added the fun prints onto each card front and then added sentiments from our Cat-itutde Stamp Set onto each one. To create shapes to hold the sentiment she used various shape dies from our collection.  For one card she used an oval from our Oval Frames Die Set, for one she used a circle from our Frames Squared Die Set and for the third card she used the pawprint shape from our Pawprint Shaker Die Set. Shed added a bit of green ink to the edges of each of the sentiment shapes so that they coordinated. Then on each card she added a cute little cat silhouette using our Cat Silhouettes Die Set, again with a print from our  A Cat's Life Paper Pad.

We love this fun idea of creating a trio of cards that are similar, yet each individual! Plus, it's so quick and easy when you fill the card front with pretty pattered papers! you could repeat this design using any of the pretty patterns from any of our different seasonal or themed Paper Pads to make cards for different occasions too!

Purr-fect Day Card by Jennifer Jackson

A Purr-fect Day!

Hello! Jen here today with an adorable quick and simple kitty card! This card is so basic and easy to create, you'll want to make a bunch for your stash! 

To create this card I started by cutting out some cute kitty silhouettes using the new  Cat Silhouettes Die Set. I cut out a whole bunch and then decided to just use these two since they look so adorable facing each other. Then I layered them onto a stitched square that was cut out using the Frames Squared Die Set. I adhered them to the lower corner and stamped the sentiment "Have a purr-fect day!" from our Cat-itude Stamp Set above them. 

Then for the card base, I used a kraft cardstock and layered two pieces of patterned paper over the top, cut from our A Cat's Life Paper Pad. I added a yellow gingham ribbon where the two papers met. That's all! Clean and simmple and so adorable! 

All you'd have to do is change out the sentiment to make a thank you or birthday card. And you could make some using our Dog Silhouettes Die Set and A Dog's Life Paper Pad for your dog loving friends too!

Cat-itude Scrapbook Layout by Samantha Mann

Cat-itude!

Today we sharing another gorgeous scrapbook page by Samantha with a fun kitty theme! For this page layout she used white gesso on the whole background of the page. Over that she stamped the phrases from the Cat-itude Stamp Set in various forms of blue in Distress Oxide inks. Then she simply added water with a paint brush over the phrases and they turned to gorgeous watercolor pools. Once this was dry, she stamped the phrases again to make them crisper.

She also added some texture with white texture paste and the Hardwood Stencil. She also added a cute little tag behind the image of her kitty using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set.

I Like Your Cat-itude Card by Larissa Heskett

Cat-itude!

Today Larissa is sharing a sparkly stenciled card that is filled with cat-itude! She created a gorgeous cat themed background by using our Meow Stencil. To foil a stenciled background you can use Deco Foil Transfer gel over the stencil. Once the gel is completely dry, you just add the foil of your choice and heat set it with a laminator! The ombré of colors used on this card by Larissa are stunning!

 After her foiled background was completed, she added the sentiment "I like your cat-itude" from our Cat-itude Stamp Set, stamped onto a circle that was die cut using our Frames Squared Die Set. She also used the scalloped edge from our Frames & Flags Die Set to create the black frame.

Live Life in the Meow!

Hello! Jen here today with a fun cat themed card! I started out using the big pawprint die cut from our Pawprint Shaker Die Set. This die set is perfect for shaker cards, but it's also great on it's own! I cut the pawprint shape out in two shades of brown so I could make the inside of the shape the darker color. I then stamped the sentiment from our Cat-itude Stamp Set inside the large part of the paw, embossing it in white! I layered the pawprint over a teal square with a stitched edge that was cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set. The fish bone background was created by stamping the little fishbone images from the Cat-itude Stamp Set in a random pattern. I then finished the card off with some washi tape, twine, and a dark brown scalloped edge that was cut out using our Sky Borders Die Set. 

This card was simple to make and would be perfect to send some adorable inspiration to a friend, especially one who loves cats!

I Like Your Cat-itude Card by Larissa Heskett

A Rainbow of Cat Fun!

Today we are sharing a gorgeous rainbow card by Larissa! She created an amazing background for her card using our Meow Stencil along with pastes from Therm O Web. She used a rainbow of colors combing White Pearl Gel with several colors of  Glitz Glitter and then stenciled with it! How stunning! Since the background is the star of this card she kept the rest simple. She cut out a stitched circle using our Frames Squared Die Set and added the sentiment from our Cat-itude Stamp Set inside.

She added the sentiment in the lower corner using our new Cat-itude Stamp Set and embellished it with a little cat heat cut out from the Pawprint Shaker Die Set. 

Ellen created this adorable summer kitty card using our new a combination of new and old products! She created a fun kitty themed background using our Meow Stencil. She layered this over a postage edge panel that was cut out using our Framework Die Set. She added on the kitty in the pool floaty from our Newton's Summer Vacation Stamp Set, layered over a shape cut out with our Frames Squared Die Set. She added in the sentiment from our new Cat-itude Stamp Set to the shape above the kitty! So cute and summery!

Holly created this adorable kitty themed card using the die cut pawprint shape from our new Pawprint Shaker Die Set. She added the sentiment from our new Cat-itude Stamp Set inside the paw and added accents with a white gel pen. She also added the fun cat pattern in the background using our new Meow Stencil with pink ink!
