Llama Birthday Fun Card by Samantha Mann

Llama Birthday Fun!

Need a card for an upcoming Birthday?  This fun card by Samantha is sure to send a birthday smile! 

She started out by creating the beautiful background panel. She first cut out a long scallop edged fram using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She then added layers of hills to the lower half of of the panel using our Hills & Grass Stencil with green distress ink. She added blue ink to the top for a sky and  mounted the panel on a white cardstock base. 

Next she colored stamped two llamas using our Loveable Llamas Stamp Set. She colored them in neutral colors, adding fun pink cheeks and white dots to their bodies for a fun detail. She also stamped and colored the blankets for their backs and a stack of gifts from the same Loveable Llamas Stamp Set. She cut all these images out using the coordinating Loveable Llamas Die Set. She also added a bundle of balloons, stamped from our Cycling Friends Stamp Set and a birthday hat from our Newton's Cupcake Stamp Set.

Last, she added the sentiment, mixing stamped words from our Loveable Llamas Stamp Set with cut out letters using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. What a fun way to make a customized message!

Fall Chrysanthemum Card by Samantha Mann

Gorgeous Chrysanthemums!

Today we are sharing a gorgeous fall floral card by Samantha. This card is a beautiful way to send a happy fall hello!

She started by stamping the image of blooms from our Chrysanthemum Stamp Set several times. She colored the blooms in a pinks purples and oranges and then cut them out using the coordinating Chrysanthemum Die Set.  

For her card base she cut out a long scalloped rectangle using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She added subtle leaves to the background panel using our Falling Leaves Stencil. She layered all the blooms over the background pattern and then added the sentiment in the center. For the sentiment she chose "Fall is in the Air!" from our Heartfelt Fall Stamp Set. She used our Banner Trio Die Set.

Bark for Another Birthday Card by Diane Morales

Bark for Another Birthday!

This card by Diane is perfect for sending a birthday wish to a person who loves dogs! 

To create this cute card she started by stamping and coloring the tall stack of dogs with birthday presents and balloons from our Birthday Barks Stamp Set. She cut the image out using the coordinating Birthday Barks Die Set.

Then, she chose to make a fun slimline card for this tall image. She used the large scallop edged rectangle from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set along with our Birthday Woofs Paper Pad to cut out the fun background of patterned papers. So fun! Next, she used the die with three round windows from the same Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set with white paper to create a shaker window frame, filling the shaker windows with pretty iridescent sequins. She used one of the circles that cuts out from the frame de to add the sentiment "Bark for another Birthday!" to the card center. 

This is such a fun way to use multiple paper designs on one project and would be a great way to use up paper scraps too!

Postage Stamp Inspired Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Butterfly Postage Stamps

Today we are sharing a beautiful cad by Ellen, inspired by postage stamps!

She started by cutting out three of the small postage stamp shaped rectangles using our Framework Die Set. She masked off the outer edges and inked the inside areas using various distress inks and added a different pattern to each one using our Tree Rings Stencil, Trailing Leaves Stencil and Petite Paw Prints Stencil. 

She added a postage watermark onto each stamp using our Hare Mail Stamp Set (retiring). Then, she cut out butterflies to match the colors of ink using the butterfly shape from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She adhered these to each rectangle and added a gemstone the center of each one. 

For her card base she choose a pretty purple floral paper from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad. 

What a beautiful idea and a fun way to send some postage themed happy mail!

Heartfelt Thanks Card by Samantha Mann

Heartfelt Thanks

This year we are hoping to send out more thank you cards, how about you? Today we are sharing some gorgeous inspiration on this thank you card created by Samantha!

To create this beautiful card she started by with big heart filled with roses from our Heartfelt Roses Stamp Set. She embossed the image in white and then used several shades of distress inks to add a gorgeous ink blend over the top. This is a great way to use a large image without doing detailed coloring and it looks amazing! Then she cut out the image using the large scalloped heart die from our Heart Frames Die Set. This image and the rest of the stamps in our Heartfelt category are all designed to fit perfectly inside that die! She also used the thank you sentiment from the Heartfelt Roses Stamp Set, embossing it in white onto a black banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set. 

For her card base she ink blended a gorgegeous green background panel and then added leaves over the top, using our Trailing Leaves Stencil with white texture paste. So gorgeous! 

As a final touch, she cut out three butterflies using the shape die from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She sewed them onto her card with a sewing machine and pushed their wing up to add a fun dimension.

Spook-tacular Halloween Card by Diane Morales

Spook-tacular Halloween Wishes!

Today we are sharing a spooky cute Halloween card by Diane!

For this card she features the cute stack of friends dressed in halloween costumes from our Halloween Pile Stamp Set. She colored the kitty and puppy using neutral colors with pops of orange for Halloween. She cut the image out using the coordinating Halloween Pile Die Set. 

For her card, she created a slimline layout using the tall skinny scallop edged rectangle die from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She then used the spider patterned paper from our Halloween Time Paper Pad, cutting the paper in angled stripes to fit onto the slim card front. 

She added the cute pile of friends onto the card, framing the image with an oval (cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set). She added the sentiment from the Halloween Pile Stamp Set in the upper right corner, stamped onto a small white banner that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. 

The finishing touch is lots of little bats, also from the Halloween Pile Stamp Set. She embossed the bats using glittery embossing powder to give the card a bit of sparkle!

Recycled Gift Box by Ellen Haxelmans

A Special gift for mom!

Today Ellen has created fun and unique gift box as a special gift for mom!

To create this box, she simply carefully took apart a box with printing on it and turned it inside out to use the blank inside as the outside. She then decorated it, using our Trailing Leaves Stencil to add pretty pink leaves all over the front. She then used dies from our  Flower Trio Die Set (retiring), Frames Squared Die Set and Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to create the fun center image on the box. 

Last, she added a tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set and Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She stamped the "to my mom" using our Best Mom Oval Stamp Set to decorate the tag. 

What a fun way to make a special customized box! You don't need a special die set, just use what you have on hand and get creative!

Plant Filled Slimline Card by Maria Russell

Let Your Light Shine!

This amazing card by Maria combines our new Succulent Garden Stamp Set with our Trailing Leaves Stencil for a fabulous plant themed greeting! 

To start out, Maria created a fun slimline card base using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to cut out a fun scalloped border. She framed it with a piece of black cardstock to really make it pop. She also added fun little hand drawn dots and dashes along the edge using a white gel pen.

For her rainbow colored windows she inked up a rainbow background and then used our Trailing Leaves Stencil over the top with black ink. What a beautiful effect!  She cut out three circles from her inked panel using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She also cut out three scalloped edge circles from white paper with our Circle Frames Die Set to frame each colorful circle shape. 

She then added several cute succulent plants to the top and bottom circles. These plants stamped using  our Succulent Garden Stamp Set and cut out using our Succulent Garden Die Set. 

The final detail is the "Let Your Light Shine" Sentiment across the center. To create this she used our Bright Sentiments Hot Foil Plates with bright blue foil on black cardstock. Then she cut the message out using the Banner Duo Die Set. What a perfect finishing touch!

A Little Birdie Told Me...Card by Farhana Sarker

...It's Your Birthday!

Today we're sharing an adorable bird themed Birthday card by Farhana.

This card uses our Birdhouse Line Stencil to create a  bird themed birthday wish! This stencil has three rows of images that you ink up in different colors. You can easily align the rows on the stencil using the etching. For her card Farhana colored the row of birdhouse tops using bright pastel inks. She inked the row with the roofs and birdhouse poles using brown and then added the third row, which includes the birds and the holes in the fronts, in black. What a fun combo! 

She next added the messages from our Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set. She stamped them on each side of the row using black ink. She cut the whole panel out using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to give it a petite scalloped edge. 

Last, she used piece of floral paper from our Springtime Paper Pad, also cutting it with the Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to give it the same scalloped edge and layered it behind the birdhouse panel.

Plant-astic Kitty Card by Zsofia Molnar

Plant-astic Kitties!

Today Zsofia a fun plant themed card featuring our Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set! 

For this card she started by stamping the image of the kitty in the basket from our Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set. She stamped the image twice and colored the leaves and baskets the same but gave the kitties different colors. So cute! She cut the images out using the coordinating Newton's Hanging Basket Die Set. 

For her card she created a slimline card layout. She used the scallop edged die from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set for the bright teal panel. Then she used the die with three windows from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set to cut a yellow-green frame and layered that over the top. She placed a kitty on each side, leaving the center for the sentiment. For the sentiment she chose to use the "you're Plant-astic" from our  Succulent Garden Stamp Set. What a great combination!

Squeak-sons Greetings Holiday Mouse card by Maria Russell

Peace & Joy

Today Maria has created an adorable mouse themed slimline card that is filled with holiday fun!

Maria stamped the adorable trio of mice on this card using our  Naughty or Mice Stamp Set. She colored them using a vibrant holiday color palette filled with teals and reds. The images were cut out using the coordinating Naughty or Mice Die Set.

For her card base, she created a fun slimline layout. She cut a white scallop edged layer using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set for the base and layered the long red frame with three windows from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set over the top. Inside each window she created a little scene by ink blending a sky in a different colors and layering a white snow over the top. The snowy hills were cut out using our Land Borders Die Set and she added starry details to the sky with a white gel pen. 

For a finishing touch she added a glittery red bow to the top, cut out using the bow from our Pines & Holly Die Set. She also added the sentiment "SQUEAK-sons greetings!" embossed in white on to a piece of black card stock and cut out by hand.

Sky High Slimline Birthday Card by Tina Herbeck

Sky High Birthday Wishes!

This week has been filled with birthday inspiration and today we are floating by with another birthday wish created by Tina! 

For her card today, Tina features image of the puppy and kitty floating away with a bouquet of balloons from Sky High Celebrations Stamp Set. She colored the image in fun bright pastels and cut it out using the coordinating Sky High Celebrations Die Set. 

For the background she created a slimline card and cut a scallop edged panel using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She then filled a beautiful sky backdrop using distress inks with our Clouds Stencil to create layers of clouds in a rainbow of bright pastels. Isn't it amazing!? It's the perfect place for the tall image to float away! She also added a birthday greeting to finish the theme. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from our Birthday Oval Stamp Set and the "Get carried away" sentient is from the Sky High Celebrations Stamp Set. These two sentiments pair perfectly together!
