Fall Anniversary Card by Jennifer Jackson

Fall Anniversary Card by Jennifer Jackson | Woodland Duos & Simply Sentimental Stamp Sets and Falling Leaves Stencil by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Happy Anniversary Card

Hello! Today I am sharing an adorable Anniversary card that I created with a Fall theme. For this card I started with that cute duo of foxes from our Woodland Duos Stamp Set. I stamped them and colored them with Copic markers and then trimmed them out using the coordinating Darling Hearts Die Set. I decided I wanted to use them with a Fall theme so I created a background of Leaves using the Falling Leaves Stencil and a few shades of ink to create a fun ombré pattern over ivory cardstock.

I needed an area to add the sentiment so I cut a curved hill out of Kraft colored cardstock using our Land Borders Die Set. I then stamped the "Happy Anniversary" sentiment using words from our Simply Sentimental Stamp Set in black. I layered this over the bottom of the leaf background and then layered the sweet foxes over that. I added in a little bit of twine to add a finishing touch and the whole thing was mounted on a rust colored cardstock base.

Custom Envelope Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Custom Envelope Card by Ellen Haxelmans | Lovely Blooms Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Create a custom Envelope Card!

Today we have a fun idea by Ellen on how to make a custom card where the envelope and card are one piece! She was inspired by aerograms (or air letters) that were used during the use during the Second World War. These lightweight self-sealing letter cards were introduced for easy sending through airmail!

To make her card, Ellen used an envelope punch board to create the envelope shape out of yellow cardstock. Then she added some stamping to the front panel using flowers from our Lovely Blooms stamp set.

She added some magnet strips on the inside of the envelope flaps and then created some fun pieces to make a cute scene inside the card. She used the cute puppy from our new Terrific Terriers stamp set along with little clouds from the Winston Takes Flight stamp set and flowers from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set.

Here's what the front of the closed envelope looks like. She used blooms from the Lovely Blooms stamp set on the background and created a custom sentiment using words from both the Simply Relative  and the Lovely Blooms stamp sets.

For the back side of the closed envelope she added a fun wreath using the  Happy Little Thoughts stamp set. Then she stamped the sentiment inside it and the ribbon using the Terrific Terriers stamp set.

Happy Birthday Deer Card by Stephanie Muzzulin

Happy Birthday Deer Card by Stephanie Muzzulin | Simply Sentimental Stamp Set & Splendid Stags Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Masculine Birthday Card

Do you find it hard to make masculine birthday cards? I think this card today by Stephanie would be the perfect guy-friendly birthday greeting! She used the deer head from our Splendid Stags Die Set and die cut out several deer and layered them to get a nice thick embellishment. Then she stamped the "happy birthday" from our Simply Sentimental stamp set underneath! This word stamp set is such an essential set to have because you can use the big words and mix and match them with all the little words to create custom sentiments for all occasions!

I love the way she kept the rest of the card simple, just layering some pattern papers and adding a bit of rustic ribbon and a staple! Such a fun, classy card!

Thanks for the yummy card today, Stephanie! To see more of Stephanie's work you can visit her at her blog, Handmade Creations by Stephanie!

Happy Anniversary Card by Larissa Heskett

Happy Anniversary Deer Card by Larissa Heskett | Splendid Stags Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Such a "DEER" couple

I am in love with this beautiful anniversary card today by Larissa! She created and adorable deer couple using our new Splendid Stags  die set. The stag is included in the die set but to make a doe she just flipped the image over after she cut out a stag and trimmed off the antlers! What an amazing idea to stretch your products! She then added the couple to the card with a pretty layered wreath images stamped from our Happy Little Thoughts stamp set and cut out with the coordinating Happy Little Thoughts Die Set.  To finish it off she used the Happy Anniversary sentiment  from our Simply Sentimental stamp set  nd the "to a special couple" from the Holiday Smooches stamp set.

Birthday Roses Card by Jennifer Jackson

Birthday Roses Card by Jennifer Jackson | Love Grows Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Birthday Roses!

Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing a fun birthday card with roses from our Love Grows stamp set! To create this card I stamped the roses and their leaves with waterproof black ink. Then I colored around them using gelatos. I used a bit of water in a wate rbrush to smooth out the colors. To color inside the flowers I just outlined the edges with a pink gelato and then used a water brush to pull the color where I wanted it.

I added the "happy birthday" sentiment using the Simply Sentimental stamp set. This set makes it so easy to create custom sentiments for your cards! Then to finish off the card I took a white gel pen and added some dots around the edges of the roses. I love how this turned out!

Happy Everything! Rose Card by Jennifer Jackson

Happy Everything! Watercolored Rose Card by Jennifer Jackson | Love Grows and Simply Sentimental Stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Happy Everything!

I had so much fun playing with watercolors and our Love Grows stamp set to create this card! I stamped several of the roses and leaves on a piece of watercolor paper using waterproof black ink. Then I used distress  inks to color the roses  and the teal background and splattered some ink over them to get the fun watercolored droplets! I love how this turned out.

Happy Everything! Watercolored Rose Card by Jennifer Jackson | Love Grows and Simply Sentimental Stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Then I stamped the "happy everything" sentiment using words from the Simply Sentimental stamp set on some Vellum. I added the vellum to the card with a piece of gold dotted washi tape (it's always so hard to figure out how to adhere vellum!). Then I added on some wooden heart embellishments and a piece of gold twine to finish it off and added it to the card base!

I love how this card turned out - it's a nice "general" card to have on hand - I could use it for a birthday, anniversary, or even for a wedding card!

I love the cute tassels in this image for this challenge - so fun! I decided to play along with this fun graduation card:

Kitty Graduation Card by Jennifer Jackson | Newton's Antics & Simply Sentimental stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs

I needed a quick graduation card so I made this clean and simple card. Although I love the colors in this challenge I ended up making the card mostly orange and black (the school colors of the graduate) and I colored the kitty black since their mascot is the panthers! I used the cat image from one of our first - and still favorite sets, Newton's Antics. Then I added the words "congrats on your graduation" under him from the Simply Sentimental stamp set. I added a graduation cap by cutting our a square and added on a tiny homemade tassel from orange and white bakers twine. I attached it through  the center and put a brad over the hole. I used a dimensional sticky dot to raise up the hat. And then, washi tape to add in some more of the orange!
