Floral Card for a Happy Couple by Ellen Haxelmans

For the Happy Couple!

Today we are sharing a beautiful wedding card by Ellen! This card wold be perfect for sending to a happy couple or a wedding or an anniversary! 

To create this card, Ellen combined several stamp sets. The gorgeous bloom on the bottom of the card is from our Peony Blooms Stamp Set. She colored the blooms, leaves and bud images and cut them out using the coordinating Peony Blooms Die Set. For the floral background, she used the big image of flowers from our Blooming Botanicals Stamp Set. 

The custom sentiment was created by combining stamped words from our Wedding Frills Stamp Set with the die cut "happy" from our Walking Woofs Die Set! What a clever way to combine elements together. This card also uses our Frames & Flags Die Set for the stitched rectangle and scalloped panels.

Tips on creating this card

Below we have some tips from Ellen on how to create a card like this:

1. (left photo) I stamped the Blooming Botanicals Stamp Set on a rectangle cut out using the Frames & Flags Die Set with embossing ink. Afterwards I embossed it with Clear Matt Dull Wow Embossing Powder. 
2. (center photo) Later I stamped and cut one of the sentiments from the Wedding Frills Stamp Set apart. I used gold embossing powder the words. I also did cut out the happy word with the word die from the Walking Woofs Die Set.
3. (right photo) The flowers from the Peony Blooms Stamp Set are colored with Zig Markers (No. 230 Pale Rose, No. 021 Light Carmine, No. 220 Tea Rose, No. 070 Orange, No. 050 Yellow, No. 044 Deep Green, No. 041 Light Green, No. 045 Pale Green).

Just a Little Note Baby Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Just a little note for Baby!

Today we are sharing an adorable baby themed card created by Ellen! She created this sweet card with a pocket that holds a pull-out tag on the front for an extra fun and special message! She used the tag from our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set (see instructions on the assembly below).  She also decorated the tag pocket using using the cute image of the mouse from our Garden Mice Stamp Set. She colored the image (see color combo below) and cut it out using the coordinating Garden Mice Die Set to layer it onto her card. She also added on two cute little mushrooms in matching colors, stamped from our Hedgehog Hollow Stamp Set and cut out with the coordinating Hedgehog Hollow Die Set. 

Tips on creating this card!
Below we have some tips from Ellen on how to create this card with the fun tag pocket and details on her color combo! 

1.  (Above left photo) First I die cut out a card base using the Frames & Flags Die Set. I also glued a pocket on my card. You can easily make your own pocket, using a square with 3 extra flaps. These flaps can be used to stick the pocket on your card.
2. (Above center photo) I die cut out the tag using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set and stamped a few words on top of the tag from the Loveable Laundry Stamp Set with embossing power. After that it was time to give the tag color with distress inks.
3. (Above right photo) Then I sprinkled water and white and red ink on top. To ensure that the words remain legible, I placed a piece of paper on the text. To finish the message I die cut the word "happy" from the Walking Woofs Die Set out of glitter paper.
   
   

4. I colored the mice illustration using Zig markers. Marker Swatch (shown in photo above)

5. As last step I placed the images on my card and some extra glitter hearts and rhinestones.

Walking Woofs Card by Maria Russell

Dog Walking Card!

Need a little sunshine today? You are in luck because today we are sharing this super sunny and happy card by Maria! She created this happy scene using the fun image of the lady walking dogs from our new Walking Woofs Stamp Set. She colored the image with copics using fun bright blue and pink for the girls outfit and the dog collars. She cut the image out using the coordinating Walking Woofs Die Set. 

She layered this image over a fun background that was created using the sun and hills from our Sunscape Stencil.  She added the sentiment, also from the Walking Woofs Stamp Set, layered over the sunny sky. She masked the word "happy" from the stamped sentiment and instead used the  bonus "happy" word die that is included with the coordinating Walking Woofs Die Set! What fun!  A few added sequins add a bit of sparkle for a lovely finishing touch!

May Reveals - Day 4 - Walking Woofs

Samantha created a gorgeous tall card featuring new Walking Woofs Stamp Set. She stamped and colored the image of the dog walker using vibrant watercolors. For her scene she added grass using our Land Borders Die Set, clouds using our Sky Borders Die Set and added a sunny sky in the middle using our Sunscape Stencil.

Zsofia created a gorgeous card featuring the dog walker from our Walking Woofs Stamp Set. She colored the image of the dog walker using soft pastels and neutrals to give it a feminine feel. Then she used our Frames & Flags Die Set to add the scalloped edge. She finished it off with some fun floral paper along the bottom! 

Larissa created this happy scene for the fun dog walker from our new Walking Woofs Stamp Set. She colored the image in lovely pastels and neutrals. To create the cheerful scene she added grass using our Land Borders Die Set, a fence using our Fence Die Set and created a cloudy sky using our Sky Borders Die Set.  She also added in a bird on the fence from our Newton's Birdhouse Stamp Set and a Butterfly in the sky from our  Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set. 

Maria created this fun and happy card using the dog walker from our new Walking Woofs Stamp Set. She colored the image in fun colors, giving the dog walker a lovely blue and pink outfit. She created a background scene for the image using our Land Borders Die Set  and Sky Borders Die Set  to make masks for grass and clouds. She also added the die cut "happy" using the coordinating Walking Woofs die set. 

This happy card by Holly will definitely make you smile! She colored the image of the dog walker from our new Walking Woofs Stamp Set, adding a fun bright pink poodle to the mix. Then she created a fun scene for the crowd using our Cloudy Sky Stencil with embossing paste to add texture too! What a lovely day for a walk!

The coloring on this card by Naki is so sweet and pretty! She used the image of the dog walker from our new Walking Woofs Stamp Set and used soft colors to watercolor the image. She added fun bright colored leashes for the dogs and used the coordinating die set to add a die cut of the word "happy." 

The dog walker is walking the dogs down a city street on this card by Andrea! She used the image from our new Walking Woofs Stamp Set and colored it in copics with gorgeous colors.  Then she created a city scene for the background. She also used our Frames Squared Die Set to cut out the round edged square. 

Ellen used a lovely soft color palette to create a gorgeous feminine card featuring the new Walking Woofs Stamp Set. She colored the image of the dog walker and dogs in soft pastels and neutrals. Then she created a scene for the image using our Land Borders Die Set for the grass. She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set for the scalloped edge on the pink panel. 

This card by Tatiana is so beautiful and bright perfect for a happy spring hello! she used the image of the dog walker from the Walking Woofs Stamp Set and colored her outfit in fun bright colors. Then she added a layer of lime green grass using our Land Borders Die Set. She also added a die cut "happy" using the using the coordinating Walking Woofs die set. 

Amanda created this incredible card featuring the dog walker from our new Walking Woofs Stamp Set. She added lovely pops of lime green and pink to the image and layered it over a fun starry background that was created using our new Cascading Stars Stencil. She also added in a border of grass using our Land Borders Die Set.
