Missing You Kitty Card by Amanda Wilcox

Sending Love from the Beach!

Are you missing someone this summer? This card by Amanda is purr-fect for letting them know they are in your thoughts!

To create this loving beach card she started out with the sweet kitty holding a seashell from our Newton's Seashell Stamp Set. She colored the kitty in soft orange and aded subtle stripes. She also added speckled details to the seashell for a bit of fun texture. The image was cut out using our Newton's Seashell Die Set. Here's a close up image so you can see the amazing coloring:

Next she created a gorgeous seashell background using our Seashells Stencil with gold texture paste over a lightly inked coral colored gradient. Isn't it beautiful!? 

For a finishing touch she added the two sentiments "Missing you" and "you are loved" from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set, stamping each onto a banner. The larger white banner is from our Banner Trio Die Set and the smaller black banner is from our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. What a perfect pairing. 

A couple of strips of metallic washi tape up the side pair perfectly with the gold seashells.

Butterfly Mug Card by Amanda Wilcox

Decorate a Custom Mug!

Today Amanda shares how she combined two stamp sets to create a gorgeous butterfly mug! She started out with the image of the kitty in a mug from our Newton's Mug Stamp Set. This image has a big blank mug, designed to stamp sentiments on the front, but it also works great to stamp a custom image on it too! Amanda masked off the edges of the mug and then used the pretty butterfly from our Monarchs Stamp Set to decorate the front! So gorgeous! She colored the mug and kitty and cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Mug Die Set. 

For her card, she used dies from our Framework Die Set and Frames & Flags Die Set to create a frame. Behind the frame she used our Mugs Stencil with pale yellow ink to create a background that coordinates perfectly with the mug theme! 

For the sentiment she stamped "kit tea cat" from the Newton's Mug Stamp Set onto a circle that was cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set. Then she cut out a banner using our Banner Trio Die Set and stamped "you are loved" onto it using our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set.

Get Well Soon Floral Card by Maria Russell

Get Well Soon Floral Card 

Today we have a gorgeous floral card by Maria to share! This beautiful get well card features the floral blooms from our Lovely Blooms Stamp Set. Maria embossed the images in white onto kraft colored cardstock and added color with distress oxide inks. Isn't the effect so pretty? She cut the flowers out using the coordinating Lovely Blooms Die Set and clustered the colored images onto the corners of her card. She also added a tonal pattern of flowers onto the background by stamping them with a light brown ink. Some splatters of white and iridescent embellishments add a special finishing touch! 

For the sentiment she embossed "get well soon" from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set onto a black banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set.

Missing You Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Missing You...

Today Ellen has created a gorgeous fall card using a spring floral stamp! The wonderful thing about our Easter Lily Stamp Set, is that you can use it way beyond spring, just by changing the colors of the blooms. For this card Ellen colored the flowers in autumn shades of yellow and orange. She used the coordinating Easter Lily Die Set to cut the image out to layer onto her card.



For the card base she created a fun background pattern by using our Tree Rings Stencil and Banner Trio Die Set (see details below). She layered this over a scallop edged panel that was cut out with our Frames & Flags Die Set. The finishing touch is the sentiment "missing you" from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set, added onto a lime green banner, also cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set. 

Tips on creating this card

Below we have some tips from Ellen on how this card was created:

1. (left photo) First I die cut out 5 banners using the Banner Trio Die Set and placed them evenly on purple tape. Next I blended brown distress ink on top. After that I placed the Tree Rings Stencil over the banners and blended the same colors through the stencil.
2. (center photo) It's easy to stretch flower stamps by using season themed colors. I colored the lily from the Easter Lily Stamp Set with Zig markers. Orange lilies are perfect for a fall card!
3. (right photo) As last step the text from the Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set was white heat embossed on a banner from Banner Trio Die Set.

Heartfelt Puppy Cards!

Today Andrea has created a sweet duo of cards that are perfect for sending caring thoughts. She started out by coloring two adorable puppies from our Puppy Playtime Stamp Set in black and white tones. The images were cut out using the coordinating Puppy Playtime Die Set. Then she made two cards with the pups using the same color palette and layout but changed the theme with different stencils and sentiments! Such a great idea!

For the first card she created a cloud background along the top half of her card using our Cloudy Sky Stencil with distress inks. She added the sentiment "Missing You" from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set, embossing it in white on a strip of black cardstock. She also added a scalloped border from striped paper using our Sky Borders Die Set below This is a lovely way to divide the card! Some black splatters and sequins add a fun finishing touch.

For the second card she used the same layout, creating a raindrop background along the top half of her card using our Raindrops Stencil. This time she chose the sentiment "I'm Sorry" which is also from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set.

Both of these cards are so darling and perfect for sharing caring thoughts! They would be great to have on hand when you need a card that expresses just the right thing!

Sending Prayers Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Sending Prayers

Today Tatiana created a gorgeous leaf filled card that is perfect for sending caring thoughts! She started out by creating colorful backgrounds using watercolor paints. Then she cut out leaves from the backgrounds by using our Autumn Leaves Die Set. She added the leaves over a simple white background, sprinkled with watercolor splatters and a few sequins. She then added the sentiment from our Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set, embossed in white over a black paper strip.  A bit of twine gives this simple card the perfect finishing touch! So simple, yet stunning!

Amanda created a gorgeous fall shaker card today! She used two circle shapes from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the shaker frame. Inside the shaker the round image from our new Fall Roundabout Stamp Set fits perfectly! She added clusters of leaves on each side using die cuts from our Autumn Leaves Die Set. The "Give Thanks" sentiment was added onto a banner from our Banner Trio Die Set and the pattern in the background was added using the new Houndstooth Stencil. Such a perfect pairing of elements!

Andrea created this delightful fall card featuring our new Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set. She layered the image over three banners that were cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set and a scalloped circle that was cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set. The background pattern created with our new Houndstooth Stencil adds the perfect bit of fall charm. 

This stunning square fall card was created by Ellen. She features the circle image of leaves from our new Fall Roundabout Stamp Set over the stenciled woodgrain circle from the Tree Rings Stencil. The image in the die cut scalloped circle from the Circle Frames Die Set fits perfectly! She also used our Banner Trio Die Set to hold the sentiment and our Frames Squared Die Set to cut out the rounded square.

Tatiana shows how watercoloring the image makes a simple and sweet fall card! She used the image of the kitty with his milk jug filled with sunflowers and pumpkins from the new Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set with gorgeous watercolors. She added some leaves blowing in the breeze and the sentiment "Smile" from the new Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set. The stitched rectangle background was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Zsofia shows a fun way to use the large circle from the new Fall Roundabout Stamp Set on a square themed card! She stamped and colored the big circle image of leaves from the set twice and cut it out using the interior window cuts from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set. What a great way to expand the ways you can use this set. She uses the the Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to add the scalloped edge for the slimline card layout too. 

Samantha created this incredible fall card featuring the kitty from our new Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set. She colored the image in gorgeous colors, adding a pop of teal to the milk jug. She also added in additional sunflowers behind the jug using our Sunflower Days Stamp Set. The card background filled with a gorgeous leaf pattern created with our Falling Leaves Stencil. 

Amy created this exquisite card featuring the leaf image from our new Fall Roundabout Stamp Set. Isn't the soft fall color palette she used so beautiful and unexpected? She also used our Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the image and the scalloped circle frame around it and our Banner Trio Die Set to hold the "Welcome Autumn" sentiment. 

The pop of teal mixed with fall colors on this card by Larissa is so cheerful! She used our the image of the kitty peeking around the fall sunflowers and milk jug from the new Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set over a fun teal inked sky. She also added some grass to the scene using our Land Borders Die Set and framed the scene with a scalloped teal frame using our Frames & Flags Die Set. The sentiments on the card and envelope are added using our new Heartfelt Essentials Stamp Set. She also used the new Houndstooth Stencil to add some pattern to the envelope flap!

Maria created this spectacular fall greeting. She used the big circle of leaves from our new Fall Roundabout Stamp Set, stamping it in opposite corners and coloring it with a lovely fall color palette. She added die cut leaves to the center using our Autumn Leaves Die Set. the finishing touch is the sentiment, "Happy Fall" stamped onto a banner from our Banner Trio Die Set. So beautiful!
