Little Lilies Card by Samantha Mann

Just Because

Do you ever send a card to someone just because you are thinking of them? Samantha has created a beautiful floral card today featuring our Little Lilies Stamp Set and our Trailing Leaves Stencil, perfect for sending thoughtful wishes for anytime. 

To create this gorgeous card she started by stamping and coloring the stem of lilies from our Trailing Leaves Stencil multiple times. The lily image is great because it's so easy to color with just the white and green. Samatha did add a bit of shading to the white areas with light gray and added accents with a white gel pen. She then cut out the florals using the coordinating Little Lilies Die Set.

For her card base she started with a white panel that was the same height as her card and just a little narrower than the width of the card. She cut out three purple glitter rectangles using our  Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock with our Frames & Tags Die Set. She adhered the glitter rectangles to the white panel and then used our Trailing Leaves Stencil to add leaves over the top with white texture paste! Wow! So pretty! She arranged the lilies over the fun background panel, layering them along the left side.

The final touch was the sentiment "just because" which she embossed in black onto a black banner that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set.

We love the textures of the glitter and the stencil paste layered together! We hope you will give this fun technique a try!

You're Some-bunny Special Card by Zsofia Molnar

Some-bunny Special!

Today we are are sharing a darling bunny scene created by Zsofia. This sweet scene combines the bunnies from two of our adorable stamp sets. The bunny holding the daffodil is from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set and the bunny stretching to sniff the flower is from our Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set. Don't they go so perfectly together? Zsofia colored the bunnies with soft gray and cut them them out using the coordinating Hop Into Spring Die Set and Bitty Bunnies Die Set. To make the scene even cuter, she colored the lily of the valley from our Little Lilies Stamp Set in lovely shades of blue and green, cutting it out out using the coordinating Little Lilies Die Set. These images were all added to her card over a soft blue background. A layer of grass was added along the bottom using our Land Borders Die Set. She added some flowers on the grass and butterflies into the sky using the little images from the Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set. The sentiment "You're some-bunny special" completes the scene. To finish the card, she added a fun strip of floral patterned paper along the bottom too.

These sweet bunnies surrounded by flowers are perfect for sending some Spring cheer to a friend or loved one!

Thinking of You Card by July Guest Designer Ildi Imrefalvi

Thinking of You

I really love stamp sets that remind me of my childhood storybooks and Garden Mice is definitely that type. It combines the cutest critters with floral elements which makes it a perfect scene building set.   

To start my card I Copic colored a bunch of images from this hilarious set and added elements from other two: Peony Blooms and Little Lilies. I usually colour and fussy cut more than I need, I found this very helpful while assembling the cards. 

For the background I trimmed a piece of watercolor paper to approx 5x5 inch and sprayed it with Oxide sprays. Watercolor cardstock has an uneven surface and special texture which I thought to be fun for my garden scene.

After white heat embossing the sentiment onto the middle of the background I started to build and arch shaped scene from the colored elements. I used foam dots of various thickness to make the dimensions more interesting. 

I planned to have splatter of white acrylic paint on all over the background, but I totally forgot about it, so I decided to put small dots with my gel pen here and there as a finishing touch.

Enjoy the Little Things Card by Zsofia Molnar

Enjoy the Little Things - like Coffee!!  

Today we have an adorable coffee themed card by Zsofia to share! She created this amazing Spring scene with coffee for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop! She combined images from  three fun stamp sets for this scene. She used the bunny from our Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set, the lily from our Little Lilies Stamp Set and the little coffee mug from ourNewton Loves Coffee Stamp Set.  She colored all the images with fun spring colors and cut them out using the coordinating Bitty Bunnies Die Set,  Little Lilies Die Set, and Newton Loves Coffee Die Set. Then for the background she stenciled a sunny sky onto her card using our Sunscape Stencil. She also added a fun edge of grass using our Land Borders Die Set.

Owl-ways and Forever Card by Larissa Heskett

Owl-ways & Forever!

Today Larissa has created an adorable owl card that is perfect for Spring! She started out with the cute owl couple from our Love Owl-ways Stamp Set. She colored the sweet birds with Copic markers, added lots of little dots for texture and white gel pen accents too. She trimmed out the image using the coordinating Love Owl-ways Die Set. Then she created a gorgeous wreath for them to sit in using a bunch of different floral stamps. She created the circle using three lily stems from our Little Lillies Stamp Set, and added lots of extra little blooms and leaves from our Lovely Blooms Stamp Set and Toucan Party Stamp Set. She colored all these lovely flowers and cut them out with their coordinating die sets. Then she assembled them into a wreath shape. She also added in a branch for the owls to perch on using our Winter Birds Stamp Set and coordinating Winter Birds Die Set.

In the background of the card you can also see some lovely blue hearts. She added these in using our Tumbling Hearts Stencil.

Floral Wreath Card by Larissa Heskett

Lily Wreath

Happy Friday! Today we are sharing a gorgeous floral wreath card by Larissa! She created this beautiful card by stamping and coloring the lily of the valley image from our Little Lilies Stamp Set three times and cutting it out with the coordinating Little Lilies Die Set. She arranged the three die cuts in a circle and layered over them in some of the little blooms from the Little Lilies Stamp Set along with some blooms and leaves from the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set. Doesn't it look so beautiful!? What a perfect combination of flowers! For her card base she used our Bubbly Stencil to create a soft background of bubbles with distress inks and added some black splatters and Nuvo drops too! She finished off the card with the "Lovely, Amazing, You" sentiment from our Happy Little Thoughts Stamp Set.

Spring Kitty and Flowers Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Just Because it's Spring!

Today Tatiana took a stamp set that was meant for fall and used a little creativity to make a fun Spring card! She started out with the image of the kitty and barrel from our Autumn Newton Stamp Set. The barrel holds pumpkins but she covered them with layers of flowers using tons of tiny flowers from our Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set and Holding Happiness Stamp Set and leaves from our Deer Friend Stamp Set. She used the coordinating dies to cut them out and layered them over the image, leaving the kitty peeking over the top! She also added a little butterfly on the kitty tail from the Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set.

To create the rest of the scene she used our Cloudy Sky Stencil with white embossing paste to create the lovey clouds and then inked over them with blue ink. She used the grass from our Land Borders Die Set too. She created some dimension by popping up the scene from the background on a stitched rectangle that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. And last, she added on the "just because" sentiment from the Little Lilies Stamp set! Wow!

Of course I had to play along -- here's the card I created. Since we just release a cute little floral set called Little Lilies this month I wanted to use it for this challenge!  This little stamp set features an image of the lily of the valley flower. I stamped and colored it using watercolor markers. This image of lily in the valley is super simple to color. I just used green for the leaves and a tiny bit of grey to add highlights to the flowers. Then I trimmed out the image using the coordinating Little Lilies Die Set.

For the card I die cut out the scallop edged panel from some striped yellow paper using our Frames & Flags Die Set. I also cut out the white stitched rectangle using the same die set. On the rectangle I added some blue watercolor splotches. Then I layered and lily over the panel and added the "thinking of you" sentiment next to it! So simple and pretty.

I decided to add on a kraft colored twine ribbon and a small piece of green washi to give this card some extra finishing touches! Then I mounted the whole thing on a light blue cardstock base which matches the blue watercolor.

Naki created a sweet trio of lilies in a row using the new Lovely Lilies Stamp set. She cut them out with the coordinating die set and layered them over a fun soft yellow background. She also added in a hill that was die cut using our Land Borders Die Set.

Maria created this delightful Spring card! She used the big sentiment from the April Showers Stamp Set in the center and stamped all the little images from the set around the edges to create a colorful spring border! So awesome! 

Ellen created this charming spring shaker card featuring the lilies from our new Little Lilies Stamp Set. She added in some layers of grass and clouds to her shaker using our Land Borders Die Set and Sky Borders Die Set. She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set to create the fun scalloped edge panel. 

This colorful spring card was created by Holly! It's so fun how she accented used the big sentiment from the April Showers Stamp Set surrounded by little sparkly butterflies. She stamped it onto the stitched rectangle cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She set off the sentiment with an awesome rainbow striped background! 

This adorable little circle card was created by Samantha! She inked the circle in shades of pink and purple to match the blooms on the flower image from the new Little Lilies Stamp Set! So delicate and pretty! 

The fun card by Juliana is perfect for Spring! She used the sentiment from our AApril Showers Stamp Set, embossed in white on a blue tag that was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. She also added on three cute stitched umbrellas using our new Umbrella Pals Die Set (revealed here yesterday)! The colors are so bright and cheerful too!

Amanda created this whimsical scene! She used the lily from our new Little Lilies Stamp Set and couldn't resist adding a little cat to her card with a flower blossom on his head! The cat is from the Newton's Costume Party Stamp Set. She created the amazing background by stenciling with our new Floral Lace Stencil over some green polka dot paper. She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set for the scallop edged yellow panel and banner. 

This incredible Spring shaker card was created by Tatiana. She used the sentiment from our new April Showers Stamp Set and stamped it onto acetate using Staz-On ink for the front of the shaker window. She cut out the frame using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She also added on a bunch of pretty butterflies from the April Showers Stamp Set, fluttering around the frame! So fun!

This lily card by Jennifer is so sweet and simple! She used the lily from the new Little Lilies Stamp Set and added it onto her card with a watercolored circle. She adde the "just because" sentiment inside the circle with a few sequins. What a perfect card to send to a friend just for fun!

Larissa created this awesome Spring card using our new April Showers Stamp Set. She masked off most of the big sentiment and used just the first part of it embossed in a circle. Then she used all the little flowers from this set along with flowers from the Bunny Hop Stamp Set, Raccoon Rascals Stamp Set and Sweetheart Tails Stamp Set.
