Fishing card for Father's Day!

Happy Friday! Father's Day is just around the corner and we're sharing some adorable inspiration today by Amanda! She created this adorable scene using our Campfire Tails stamp set! She used the images of Winston in his adorable fishing vest along with the cute raccoon, lantern and flashlight to create and adorable fishing scene! The way she colored them is so awesome and I love the little details filled in with the white gel pen. To set the scene she used the curvy hill from our Land Borders Die Set and the underside of the scalloped border from the Sky Borders Die Set to create layers of water! Then she finished off the card with the custom "World's Best father" sentiment using words from our Simply Relative stamp set! So fun!

February Guest Designer - Ka Slagoski

Meet Ka!

Today I want to give a warm welcome to our guest designer this month - Ka Slogski! She will be posting with our Design Team with our new February release this week. We are so excited to have Ka join us this month! She has wowed us with her creations using Newton's Nook Designs Stamps and we can't wait to see what she does with our new release!

"Hi everyone! My name is Ka and I blog over at Stamping Smiles Designs. I’m so thrilled, honored and happy to join the Newton’s Nook’s Design Team as a guest for the month of February! I also want to give a big THANK YOU to Jen for the opportunity to be her Guest Designer this month!

I enjoy all things paper-crafting, but my real passion is card making. I started scrapbooking in 2007 and a couple months later, I was introduced to card making through a co-worker. It was immediate love! Whimsical, cutesy images are my favorite! I also enjoy organizing my crafting supplies. There is just something about having an organized, clean crafting studio. When I am not creating and organizing, I am spending time with my husband, playing games at Dave & Buster with friends, having family game nights, playing tennis, and watching my favorite comedy TV shows!"

For this card Ka did some created an adorable masculine birthday card using Winston from our Campfire Tails stamp set.

This cad by Ka is one of my favorites - I love the way she layered balloons with the kitty from our Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set! 

And one more cutie:  Ka created this adorable card using the doxie from our Delightful Doxies stamp set. I love the simplicity of this layout with the glossy balloon!

Our first winner is this beautiful Christmas card by Kim! We love how she used the image of the kitty with the gifts from the  Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set and colored the gifts red and green to make a Christmas card! Her coloring of the kitty is so fun too!  

Our second winner is this fun card by Lynn! We love the cute scene she created with Winston from the Garden Whimsy stamp set watering the flower. The layers of grass in front of him add such fun dimension.

Inky Paws #20 Favorites

Since there were so many great cards with this sketch cards, we chose THREE more as our favorite picks! If you see your card below, contact us if you'd like to get a "favorite" badge for your blog!

Nina-Marie turned the sketch sideways and made it into a cute birthday shaker card! So Adorable! She used the Newton's Antics stamp set for the kitty image.

Indy also turned the sketch sideways and created this fun trio of campers using our Sweetheart Tails and Campfire Tails sets. I love the little added "wish you were here" from the Newton's Summer Vacation set too! 

And our third favorite is this card by Tammy! We loved the bright bold colors over the white and the way she added polka dots to the bag that coordinate with the embossed ones on the layer below! Super fun and bright! She used the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set.

Hooked on You Card by Danielle Pandeline

Hooked on You! 

Danielle was pulled out the Campfire Tails set and made this fun card with Winston getting going fishing!  I love how she colored Winston, with tons of cute little freckles!  I also love the fun fish embossing folder  that coordinates so perfectly with this image! Do you like to go camping? This card would be perfect to send to a friend who loves fishing or camping! So adorable! Hi Newton! Card by Jess Moyer

Newton wishing for spring...

This card by Jess Moyer is quite fitting. Right now in cold Wisconsin, the REAL Newton is getting very stir crazy and wanted to have the windows open so he can hear the birds and get fresh air but it's just too cold. I imagine the stamped Newton on this card is feeling the same way - he wants to go outside and see that birdie! 

For this card Jess used the kitty from the Naughty Newton stamp set and the birdie outside is from Campfire Tails  and the clouds and "hi" sentiment are from Hanging Around!

First up is this sweet Je T'aime Card by Yukari using Newton Dreams of Paris stamp set. Love the big silver hearts she added and the gorgeous coloring on that kitty! 

Samantha added hearts to her background and to the thought bubble! So Cute! She used the puppy in the tutu from the Boo Crew Stamp set and the words are from Magical Dreams, Love à la Carte and Flirty Flamingos! 

Our Guest Designer, Tracy Gruber added fun hearts to the background of this card using the zebra heart stamp from the Wild about Zoo stamp set! Adorable! 

Stephanie created this adorable little heart shaped card! I just LOVE the way she colored the fox from the Sweetheart Tails stamp set! The tiny little wooden tag adds the perfect finishing touch too! 

Kimberly added sequin hearts to her cute card using the eiffel tower stamp from our Newton Dreams of Paris stamp set! I love the multicolor embossing too - so pretty! 

Jess created a heart by stamped a ton of little images from Winged Wishes and Sweetheart Tails. She also used words from Simply Sentimental. 

Danielle created this fun card using the Wild about Zoo stamp set! Check out that awesome ombré pink background and heart washi tape too! 

Crafty Math-Chick created this cute heart shaped card! The heart in the middle creates the perfect spot for the flamingo couple from the Flirty Flamingos stamp set. 

Larissa created this cute trio of cards with hearts! Adorable! She used Wild about Zoo and Sweetheart Tails stamp sets. 

Here's one by me - I added some wooden hearts along with the animal print hearts on the yellow background for this card. The animal print hearts and the cute lemur are from the Wild about Zoo stamp set!

We loved this card by Indy too - It's so cool how she used the Rose and leaves from our Love Grows set to create the circle and flag shape from the sketch!  We also love the coloring on that orange kitty  from the Newton's Daydream set and that she cut it out with those intricate flowers! Gold campfire scene with Samantha Mann

Beautiful golden campfire scene! 

Today I'm sharing this gorgeous campfire scene card by Samantha Mann! Isn't it beautiful? It looks like the campfire is casting off a stunning glow through the trees! 

Samantha used Winston the bear from the Winston's Birthday set and gave him a s'more and to toast with fire from our Campfire Tails stamp set! This card is so pretty! What a great birthday card!
