Foiled Greetings for Fall by Amanda Wilcox

Fall Foils

Today we are sharing a gorgeous autumn card by Amanda featuring our 'Fabulous Fall Toner Card Fronts and our Lattice and Autumn Leaves die sets. 

Amanda stared out be creating a beautiful sparkly background using the tiny leaf print from our 'Fabulous Fall Toner Card Fronts. To create this background she applied a foil that has an ombré of colors and also added some distress ink and water splatters for a fun texture. 

Next she cut out the fun lattice panel from brown cardstock using our Lattice Die and adhered it over the foiled background. 

The last step was to create a gorgeous banner with leaves. She cut the banner out using our Banner Trio Die Set and stamped the sentiment from our Heartfelt Fall Stamp Set onto it. She next cut out leaves and acorns using our Autumn Leaves Die Set and added a little bow that was die cut using our Pines & Holly Die Set. 

This card has such a gorgeous combination of die textures! We love the subtle shine that the foil adds to the background too!

Christmas Cactus Card by Samantha Mann

Christmas Cactus!

Have you thought about making holiday cards yet? It's never too early to start and today we are sharing a Christmas card by Samantha featuring our Christmas Cactus Stamp Set and Lattice Die Set to get the inspiration started!

To create this card Samantha stamped the lovely cactus blooms from our Christmas Cactus Stamp Set multiple times. She colored all the blooms in shades of pink using watercolor markers. She added white highlights with a white gel pen to the petals and cut out all the blooms using the coordinating Christmas Cactus Die Set. 

For her card base she stenciled a white piece of cardstock using a light gray ink with our Tree Rings Stencil. Then she took that panel and cut it out using our Lattice Die Set. What a fun way to give the die cut texture! She stenciled another piece of white cardstock using our Petite Snow Stencil with white texture paste to give a subtle texture. She cut the snowy panel to fit her card front and then layered the die cut lattice over the top. She then layered all those cactus blooms along the right side, overlapping them to create a beautiful edge. 

Last she added the sentiment, stamped and embossed in white onto a black banner. The banner was die cut using our Banner Duo Die Set. She also added a few iridescent sequins around the blooms for a little bit of sparkle.

Special Day Card by Samantha Mann

Celebrate a Special Day!

Don't forget to celebrate the special days in the lives of your friends and family. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, graduation or other special occasion, this card by Samantha is sure to let someone know how special they are! 

This card features our Dainty Daisies Stamp Set, Lattice Die and Petite Flowers Stencil.

Samantha stamped the bundle of daisies from the Dainty Daisies Stamp Set several times and colored the blooms in various shades of pink. Then she added white paint splatters over the top for a fun textured look. It's almost like droplets of water on a rainy day! She cut the florals out using the coordinating Dainty Daisies Die Set.

For her card background she used our Petite Flowers Stencil with white texture paste, applying it onto white cardstock to create a beautiful tone on tone textured background. 

Next she cut out the beautiful lattice frame using our Lattice Die and layered this over the textured panel. The daisies were added over the top, layered over each other and adhered with dimensional adhesive. If a  stem or bloom went over the edge of the card she trimmed it with a scissor. 

Last she added the sentiment, embossed in white onto a black banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set.

Here is what we learned from Samantha today:

• Don't be constrained by the size of your card. If images go off the edge you can just trim them to align to the card size.
• Combing layers and textures (like vellum and texture paste) gives your card an extra special touch!

2025 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Today we are playing along with the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop!

If you like coffee you are going to LOVE this blog hop! There are so may fun stops on this hop featuring coffee themed cards you are sure to be inspired! For our stop on the hop today I created a duo of cute coffee cards featuring Newton drinking coffee along with some of our fun die sets:

For my first card I used the kitty from our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set paired with our A Hug in a Mug and Filigree Frame Die Sets.

Isn't Newton so adorable with his arms around that to-go coffee!? I colored the kitty image using copic markers. I figured out my card layout first so I knew what color to make the coffee cup, matching it to the background paper. I also colored the kitty orange to look like Newton!

For the card layout I used our Filigree Oval Frame Die Set, cutting it from white cardstock to create the beautiful swirl filled frame. I layered this over a piece of sage green cardstock. Then I added the sentiment using our A Hug in a Mug Die Set. This set includes the words and a shadow die that is a little larger so you can layer them together. I cut the shadow layer out using a piece of yellow glitter paper from our Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock to add a bit of sparkle to the card. Then I mounted it all onto a dark chocolate colored card base. I love how this turned out! 

For my second card I again used the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set but this time I paired it with our Thanks a Latte, Basic Frames and Lattice Die Sets. 

On this card I used the image of Newton peeking over the table edge at a cup of coffee! So cute! I colored the image with copic markers. For my card layout I used our Lattice Die, cutting it out of pale yellow cardstock. I layered the lattice panel over some coffee bean patterned paper from our Coffee House Stories Paper Pad. 

For the message on this card I used our Thanks a Latte Die Set. This set also includes the word and shadow dies and this time I cut the words out of yellow glitter paper from our Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock. For the shadow I used dark teal paper. I layered the sentiment and the image of Newton onto a yellow banner that was cut out using our Basic Frames Die Set. 

I had so much fun creating these coffee cards. It's so easy to pair the stamped images with our fun dies!

A Cheerful Daisy Card & Video by Jennifer Jackson

Cheerful Daises!

Hello! Jen here today and back to share details on another card I created. This card was created using only die sets! I used our Lattice Die, Filigree Oval Frame Die Set and Daisies Die Set. 

Our Lattice Die is perfectly sized to layer onto an A2 card base. I cut it out from dark teal paper and layered it over a light teal panel. 

I cut out the trio of daises using our Daisies Die Set and I used our Filigree Oval Frame Die Set to cut out the vellum oval along with the word "hello".  The yellow banner is from our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Be-LEAF in You!

Today Samantha pairs our Lattice Die Set and Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set to create an adorable card that is perfect for sending encouragement!

First she colored that naughty kitty getting into trouble from our Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set. She adds pink cheeks and stripes to the kitty for fun detail and trims it out using the Newton's Hanging Basket Die Set. 

For her card background she first stenciled a green panel using our Petite Flowers Stencil. She creates a tone on tone look, using green ink over a light green paper. This ties in with the plant theme so perfectly! 

Over the top she layers a fun panel that was created using our Lattice Die Set. Before cutting it out she inked the panel with shades of brown distress ink and brown and white splatters to add more fun detail!

This card is perfect for sending encouragement. Plus, that naughty kitty is sure to make someone smile!
