Happy Meow-oween!!

Today we are sharing a fun MEOW-oween card by Larissa!

This card features our cute Newton peeking out from a witch's boot from our Witchy Newton Stamp Set. She colored the image in fun halloween theme colors and then cut it out using the Witchy Newton Stamp Set.

For her card she used a black and white polka dotted paper from our Black & White Basics Paper Pad. Then she layered two ovals that were cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set. She added a little bit of purple ink onto the white oval to match her colored image.  She layered the colored image of the kitty and boot on top. 

Last, she added the sentiment "Happy Meow-oween!" from the Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set. The banner that the sentiment is on was cut out using the Banner Trio Die Set. She also added purple ink to the edges. 

This cute Halloween cared would be perfect for sending to a cat loving friend!

Ghostly Greetings Card by Donna Idlet

Ghostly Greetings!

Don't be scared! This ghostly Halloween card by Donna is too cute to be spook! 

This card features the cute dog and cat ghosts from our Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set. Donna stamped and embossed the images onto vellum to give them a fun transparency. What a perfect way to add a ghostly effect to the card.  The images were cut out using the coordinating Ghostly Good Times Die Set. 

Behind the ghosts is a spooky scene from one of the pages in our Halloween Time Paper Pad. She cut the paper to fit just inside the zig zag frame from our Frames & Tags Die Set. The finishing touch is the sentiment "Ghostly Greetings" from our Spooky Sentiments Hot Foil Plates. She added hot foil to the sentiment and then cut it out using our Banner Duo Die Set.

Peek-a-BOO Scrapbook Layout by Samantha Mann

Peek-a-boo! 

Have you ever tried to incorporate stencils and stamps into your scrapbook layouts? Today we are sharing a beautiful scrapbook page by Samantha that does just that! 

This page by Samantha features a photo of her adorable kitty peeking out through some blankets and it inspired her to create a peek-a-BOO theme featuring ghosts! What a fun play on words! She started by laying out the page and deciding where everything would go. Then she took the white background piece and added some blue ink smears to match the paper and white ghosts flying across the page using texture paste with our Ghosts Stencil. She also stamped the "boo-yah!" sentiment from the Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set right above the kitty photo. 

When she added her photo to the page she framed it with several black and white papers from our Black & White Basics Paper Pad along with some tissue for texture. She added the sentiment across the center using chipboard letter stickers and a cute chipboard kitty. She also added some additional words, stickers and embellishments onto her layout using pieces from her scrapbook product stash. 

Too add to the theme she stamped the cute kitty ghost from our Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set onto a piece of grey polka dotted paper from our Black & White Basics Paper Pad and cut it out using the coordinating Ghostly Good Times Die Set. So cute how it ties in the the sentiment!

Stay Spooky Card by Amanda Wilcox

Stay Spooky! 

Today we're getting in the Halloween mood with this cute and spooky card by Amanda featuring some of our favorite Halloween products!

This creative card features our Jack-O'-Lantern Stencil Set and Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set. She started out by creating a that fun background using the Jack-O'-Lantern Stencil Set onto light orange paper.  This stencil set has three layers (one for the pumpkins, one for the scary faces and one for the stems). She stenciled each layer with a different color using the etching on each stencil to align them perfectly. She then cut out the completed background using the zig zag edged die from our Frames & Tags Die Set. She also cut a black frame using the same die set to layer on top. 

Next she stamped the adorable ghost dog and cat from our Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set onto vellum and embossed them in white. The transparency of the vellum really gives them the perfect ghostly look! They were die cut out using the coordinating Ghostly Good Times Die Set. 

Last she adds the "Stay Spooky" sentiment from the Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set. She die cut the tag from our Frames & Tags Die Set and stamped the message in orange onto it. A bit of orange twine and a pumpkin embellishment finish it off perfectly. 

We love the combination of cute and spooky on this card!

Boo-yah! Card by Farhana Sarker

Boo-yah!

Today we are sharing a fun and simple Halloween-themed card by Farhana.

For this card, she features the adorably spooky images from the Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set, which were die cut from vellum using the Ghostly Good Times Die Set. Farhana also used a sticker machine to add the vellum to the card to avoid any visible glue marks through the vellum.

For her card she made a simple inked sky, masking off the part of the bottom of the card with a circle that was die cut using the Circle Frames Die Set and using six different distress ink colors to blend the sky. She also flicked some gold splatters on the sky to add to the night sky.

The stars and sentiment from the Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set were stamped in and around the moon to finish off the card.

What a perfectly cute and pretty halloween card!

Ghostly Good Times Shaker Card by Larissa Heskett

Ghostly Shaker Card!

Today we are shaking up halloween fun with a ghostly shaker card by Larissa! 

For this fun card she started out by cutting out the background scene using a piece of paper from our Halloween Time Paper Pad. She stamped the kitty image from the Ghostly Good Time Stamp Set to put behind the window. Using some foam tape and acetate she made the kitty into a shaker window, adding str and bat sequins inside. She then used our Ghostly Good Time Die Set to make a kitty ghost shaped window in the background panel. 

She framed the whole scene with a postage edged rectangle that was cut out using our Framework Die Set.

Happy Howl-oween Card by Guest Designer Brennan Keane

Today we a special guest post to share. We are featuring more inspiring work from the talented young Brennan Keane!  

 

I'm back, back, back again! Hi everyone, my name is Brennan and I am a 15 year old teenage boy who’s obsessed with creating cards with florals! However, I’m here to shock y’all today, because I made a Halloween card!

To start off, I masked a small strip of my card front and blended in some Crown Me ink from Simon Hurley and added a distressed effect with a Distress Ink pad in the color Black Soot. I also added a little water to get the splatter. I then used the new Spooky Line Stencil with some Solar Paste in the color Slippery When Wet to create the eerie Halloween sky!

I used the adorable Ghostly Good Times stamp set and stamped out both the dog and cat ghosts. Now it’s time to color! For the cat, I used Copics in the colors, from darkest to lightest, BG13, BG23, and BG11. For the dog, I used the colors, also from darkest to lightest, Y19, Y18, and Y15.

To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment “ Happy Howl-oween”!
Lastly, I added a black matte and glued everything onto my card base. I hope you all enjoy this spookdorable (I created a new word!) Halloween card!

Ghostly Dog and Cat Halloween Cards by Zsofia Molnar

Ghostly Halloween Cards!

Today we are sharing a duo of fun ghost cards by Zsofia that would be perfect to send to dog and cat lovers. 

To create these two fun cards, Zsofia stamps the cat, dog and little ghost from our Ghostly Good Times Stamp Set. She adds just a hint of blue to the edges of the images to give them a ghostly highlights. She also stamps the moon image twice, coloring it with light yellow highlights. She cut the images out with the coordinating Ghostly Good Times Die Set. 

For her cards, she started with simple white card bases and then inked fun blue halos in the centers using distress ink. She added some water splatters and a little bit of white paint splatter to give the sky some fun  texture. Then she added stars to the sky and the dog and cat themed halloween sentiments to finish out the cards.

These cards are simple, yet so fun and spooky! What a perfect way to send a Halloween hello to a friend, especially one who likes dogs or cats!
