You're Super!

Today Ellen has created a fun superhero dog card that is sure to make the recipient feel appreciated!

The super card features the pup from our Dress Up Doxies wearing a superhero cape and mask! Although stamp set has a halloween theme the images in it work great for other types of cards too, like this fun superhero themed teacher card!  She colored the image of the cute pup using copic markers (find full supply list on Ellens blog) and used the coordinating Dress Up Doxies Die Set to cut it out. 

She created a fun city scene by adding some tall buildings from our Newton Dreams of New York Stamp Set (retiring). The sky is filled with fun glittery stars that were added on using our Cascading Stars Stencil. She also addded a hill from black cardstock using our Land Borders Die Set. The whole scene is inside a circle that was created with our Circle Frames Die Set.

She also added a bit of personalization to the inside of the card to make it teacher themed. She added an award ribbon from our Terrific Terriers Stamp Set and a sentiment from our Classy Teachers Stamp Set

Tatiana takes to the skies with this adorable card using our retiring Winston Takes Flight Stamp Set.

This adorable card features Winston flying across the sky in his adorable airplane. She added the "hello" to the banner behind the airplane and additional clouds in the sky, also from theWinston Takes Flight Stamp Set. She set the sky scene by creating lines of mountains and clouds using our edge stencils too! Detailed product list below.

Next, Tina has created duo of doggie cards using retiring Terrific Terriers Stamp Set!

Each of these sweet cards features one of the terriers from the retiring Terrific Terriers Stamp Set. For the card on the left she colored the pup in shades of brown and added a heart background and heart die cut to make a love themed card. For the card on the right, she colored the pup in shades of gray and then created a birthday card by adding a birthday hat and patterned paper with balloons! Adorable Puppy Cards by Andrea Shell

Puppy Love!

Do you love puppies? Today we are sharing TWO adorable puppy cards by Andrea today! Both of these creations feature our some of our new dog themed products along with adorable images from two of our favorite dog stamp sets! 

For the first card she created a fun little scene using the two pups sharing a bone from our Puppy Pals Stamp Set. She colored them using fun bright colors and added in sky and grass too. Then she created a layer of red using distress inks and cut a big pawprint out of it to frame the scene! The pawprint is from our Pawprint Shaker Die Set. Then she added the cute little sentiment from our Say Woof Stamp Set in the corner, adding it into a circle and making it look like a dog tag!

For her second card she featured that adorable pup from our Terrific Terriers Stamp Set. She colored that cute pup with copics, adding strokes to a fun hair texture! She cut the image out using the Terrific Terriers Die Set. She layered it over the big pawprint that was cut out of the previous card using our Pawprint Shaker Die Set. For the background she created a fun dog themed panel of pattern using our Woof Stencil with red ink and gave it a fun decorative edge using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She also added the cute sentiment from our Say Woof Stamp Set in the corner, embossing it with white on a black circle.

Monochromatic Cards by Ellen Haxelmans

Create your own Backgrounds for Cards!

Today we are sharing a fun idea by Ellen to create gorgeous monochromatic cards! She used two stamp sets to create gorgeous monochromatic backgrounds that are so lovey you don't need to do anything else but add some twine and a sentiment!

For her first card she used the lovely leaves from the Shades of Autumn Stamp Set, stamping them randomly around the card front in shades of red and orange over a light yellow background. She rounded the corners and layered it over a white cardstock base and then added the die cut thanks sentiment from another company paired with the "truly Grateful" sentiment from the Shades of Autumn Stamp Set on a yellow banner. So pretty!

For her second card she card she used the silhouette of the Labrador dog from the the Furr-ever Friends Stamp Set along with the tiny heart and paw print to create a dog patterned background on white cardstock. The blue ombré ink looks so lovely with that dog image! She layered this image over a black cardstock base and added the "pawsome" sentiment from the Terrific Terriers Stamp Set, embossed in white on black cardstock. The blue and white bakers twine and sequins give a fun finishing touch!

Aren't these cards so awesome? There are so many possible combinations you could make using this same fun technique with any of our bold stamps!

September Reveals - Day 4 - Newton’s Costume Party

Today is our FINAL reveal day for September and we saved our new Newton set for last! Amanda created a whole crew of kitties, dressed and ready to trick or treat! How adorable is that!? She also added some black grass along the bottom using our Land Borders Die Set.

Tatiana dressed the kitty in a little lion costume, using masking to create a one layered image! She also added some clouds using our Sky Borders Die Set and some stars in the sky using the Starfield Stencil.

These cute kitties are all dressed and ready for trick-or-treating on this cute card by Juliana! She also added in some grass using our Land Borders Die Set and dark purple clouds using our Sky Borders Die Set.

Newton is so adorable in his bee costume on this card by Jennifer! It's super cool how she coordinated the black and yellow papers with the bee theme too! 

This card by Samantha is so cute! Those kitties all peeking out of the circle with their costumes on look ready to celebrate Halloween! She also added some fun starry texture to her card using the Starfield Stencil.

Ellen created this adorable Halloween Scene! She dressed Newton as a ghost and then added a pumpkin hat to the dog from our Fetching Friendship Stamp set. She added in some die cut bones from the Fetching Friendship Stamp Set, some trees from the Fox Hollow Stamp Set and hills and grass using our Land Borders Die Set. She also added a starry sky using the  Starfield Stencil.

Holly created this adorable card, dressing Newton as a unicorn and adding in the sentiment from our Believe in Unicorns Stamp Set! What a fun idea! This shows how you could use the costumed kitties for other occasions besides Halloween!

Although these costumes were designed to fit Newton, they can be added onto many of our other characters too! On this card, Larissa added the ghost onto the Terrier from the Terrific Terriers Stamp Set! How Adorable! 

Can't decide which costume you like best? That's what happened to Naki so she created magnets of all the outfits so you can dress Newton up on your fridge each day in a different outfit! So fun!

Maria created a spooky Halloween scene using two kitties wearing their halloween hats and one more in the background, dressed as a spooky ghost! She also added in pumpkins from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin Stamp Set. Such a fun spooky scene!

Custom Envelope Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Create a custom Envelope Card!

Today we have a fun idea by Ellen on how to make a custom card where the envelope and card are one piece! She was inspired by aerograms (or air letters) that were used during the use during the Second World War. These lightweight self-sealing letter cards were introduced for easy sending through airmail!

To make her card, Ellen used an envelope punch board to create the envelope shape out of yellow cardstock. Then she added some stamping to the front panel using flowers from our Lovely Blooms stamp set.

She added some magnet strips on the inside of the envelope flaps and then created some fun pieces to make a cute scene inside the card. She used the cute puppy from our new Terrific Terriers stamp set along with little clouds from the Winston Takes Flight stamp set and flowers from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set. 

Here's what the front of the closed envelope looks like. She used blooms from the Lovely Blooms stamp set on the background and created a custom sentiment using words from both the Simply Relative  and the Lovely Blooms stamp sets.

For the back side of the closed envelope she added a fun wreath using the  Happy Little Thoughts stamp set. Then she stamped the sentiment inside it and the ribbon using the Terrific Terriers stamp set. 

Don't you just love all the fun details she added to this project! It would be so special to receive a card like this!

Small Paws, Big Hearts!

If you love dogs you will love this sweet card by Maria! She created this adorable card using our NEW Terrific Terriers stamp set and coordinating Terrific Terriers Die Set. She colored them in shades of brown and added cute pink cheeks! Then she created that fun background using the tiny heart and paw print images from the set. She finished it off with the "small paws, big hearts" sentiment from the Terrific Terriers stamp set in a little heart shape! So cute!
