 Amanda created a super cute card featuring the papa bear and baby bear from our Papa Bear Stamp Set: 

This adorable card would be perfect for Father's Day or just to let someone know you care. She added the necktie and bow to the bears, also from the Papa Bear Stamp Set and layered them onto a vellum tag. She used several of our dies and stencils to create a fun layered card layout with fun patterns. Detailed product list below.

Next, Samantha has created a Holiday card using retiring Ornamental Newton Stamp Set stamp set!

This slimline card layout is so perfect for showcasing the images of Newton hanging from the branches of the christmas tree! She even added a bit of flock to the branches for texture! She also used our retiring Ornaments Stencil with white paste on the white card base to add a fun tone on tone pattern in the background! Detailed product list below.

Sweet Noel Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Sweet Santa Deer!

This winter scene by Tatiana is so sweet and perfect for the holidays! She started out by coloring the duo of cute deer from our Deer Friend Stamp Set with copics. Her coloring is so lovely with the extra little dots for texture! She cut the deer out using the coordinating Deer Friend Die Set. The stamp set these deer are from is a Spring themed set so she gave the deer a holiday feel by coloring their noses red and adding hats onto their heads using the little Santa hat from the Ornamental Newton Stamp Set. How clever!

For her card she created a wintery scene by started with a blue inked background  and embossing the word noel in white from our Sentiments of the Season Stamp Set. Then she added snow around the sentiment with our Petite Snow Stencil and white embossing paste.  To complete the scene she added a die cut birch tree on each side and a red cardinal using our new Forest Scene Builder Die Set. She also added snowy hills for the deer to sit on using our Land Borders Die Set. Lastly, she tucked some little bits of greenery into the snow drifts using the little leafy plants from the Deer Friend Stamp Set.

Newton's Nook Designs & Xyron Inspiration Week - Day 4 with Tatiana and Jennifer

First up is we have this adorable Christmas card by Tatiana:

Tatiana created this adorable holiday card using our Ornamental Newton Stamp Set! She fussy cut out the image of the kitty and created a fun spinner card where he dangles in the center of the circle. She also used the pine branches and pinecone from the Pines & Holly Die Set. She put her project together using the Teresa Collins Mega Runner by Xyron!

Next we have a cute Toucan Card by Jennifer:

This cute Toucan card by Jennifer uses our Toucan Party Stamp Set! She colored that Toucan in fun tropical colors along with the branch and some flowers from the set. She trimmed it all out using the Toucan Party Die Set and added it to her card with some fun ombré green paper! She put her project together using the Mega Runner by Xyron!

Here's what I created:

I had so much fun playing with our Ornamental Newton Stamp Set to create this fun colorful holiday card! That silly kitty is so cute as he's trying to hang onto that GIANT christmas bulb! I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it using zig clean color markers. Then I went over the gold areas with a gold wink of stella marker to add sparkle. I trimmed out the kitty image and the added santa hat with the coordinating Ornamental Newton die set.

For the card, I created a big watercolor background and added the kitty on top, hanging from some gold and white bakers twine. Then to give it some some holiday bling I added some sparkly washi tape up the side and added some dots I had created using Nuvo Crystal and Glitter drops. The "BIG holiday wishes" sentiment is also from the Ornamental Newton Stamp Set.

Hello there!  I’m Lynn Put and I’m excited about having the opportunity to be a guest designer for Newton’s Nook 4th annual “Deck the Halls with Inky Paws”!

A little info about myself: I live in southeast Michigan with my husband and three children. I started out 21 years ago as a scrapbooker after my oldest son was born and a few short years later was introduced to the world of stamping and card making. I’ve been addicted ever since. I would say my style of card making is a cross between clean & simple and clean & layered. Along with my love of card making, I also enjoy reading, gardening and spending time with family & friends. I’m looking forward to sharing what I create using some of the fun Newton’s Nook Designs!

This beautiful card by Lynn features that cute image of the kitty hanging onto a giant christmas bulb from our NEW Ornamental Newton stamp set! Isn't this image so adorable? Lynn did such an awesome job coloring the kitty and ornament in lovely vibrant colors! She added some fun ornament paper behind the image that coordinates so well with the image! She finished it off with the "Big Holiday Wishes" sentiment, also from the Ornamental Newton stamp set, and some silver bling! What a fun and colorful Holiday card!

Caring Hearts Card Drive 2016

Today we are posting about the Caring Hearts Card Drive! This card drive is organized by Vera Yates & Jennifer McGuire with the goal to collect holiday cards for the elderly that lives in nursing home. During this time many of the elderly who lives in nursing homes would really feel the loneliness or missing their family. Wouldn't it be so awesome if we can bring a smile to their face & brighten their holiday season simply by sharing our love of card making? A simple gesture to let them know that they are not forgotten.

Since this blog hop is all about holiday cards I wanted to share a fun Holiday card today using our Ornamental Newton stamp set. I used the image of the cute kitty, hugging a giant holiday ornament! This image is so fun to color - you can make the kitty and ornament any combination of colors to go with your card. For this card I used Zig Clean Color Markers and did a quick watercolor with bright tones of lime green, pink and yellow with orange for the kitty (our real life Newton is an orange kitty). Then I cut the image out using the coordinating Ornamental Newton Die Set and added a bit of lime green twine around the ornament top.

To create the card, I used a white cardstock base, added a panel of green and a strip of striped pink paper to go with the color of the ears on the kitty! Then I added a lime green doily and a strip of dark pink washi tape. I added the kitty on top with some dimensional adhesive. For the sentiment, I stamped the "Big Holiday Wishes, also from the our Ornamental Newton stamp set and cut it out with a circle die to add it to the card.

This clean and simple card by Samantha using the Festive Forest set is so pretty! I love how she used multiple shades of green on the tree stamp! 

Yukari created this sweet ornament card using gogeous shades of blue! I love how the kitty looks like he's hanging in a frame!

Lydia created this lovely forest of trees using just the Festive Forest Die Set! This set works great with or without the stamps too!

Jess created this adorable kitty card using traditional red and green! She used the "Deck the Paws" sentiment repeatedly across the banner and then added bits of gold glitter ot the ornament!

Danielle created a whole forest of trees in shades of green using Festive Forest Stamps and coordinating dies. The gold star on the center tree is so pretty! 

Larissa created this lovely card using the kitty from the Ornamental Newton set. Doesn't he look so cute in his added Santa Hat? She also added a whole line of candy canes too! So adorable! 

Kimberly stamped several of the fun patterned trees from the Festive Forest set and used them to create a star! What  fun idea. The ombré inks look gorgeous on these trees too! 

Naki created this sweet kitty card using the Ornamental Newton stamp set and coordinating die set. She also added in some fun white branches using our Pines & Holly die set (revealed here on Tuesday).

Crafty Math-Chick created this awesome scene with two kittings haning out over the fireplace! They look just like Newton and Hobbes!! She also added in some fun white branches using our Pines & Holly die set (revealed here on Tuesday) and the fire from our Campfire Tails Stamp set!
