Happy New Year's Eve!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday! We are looking forward to an amazing New Year here at NND Headquarters! We are so grateful for all we have accomplished this year and we couldn't have done it with out you, our amazing fans! Thank you so much for all your interest and support of our company this year and we can't wait to see what 2018 brings! 

Today I wanted to share a fun card that I created to celebrate the new year! I know champagne glasses would be a bit more traditional but I couldn't resist using those cute martinis from our Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set. I colored two of them and trimmed them out with the coordinating Cocktail Mixer Die Set. I also wanted to use the "cheers" die that comes with that die set and I cut it out of some shiny silver paper. I decided to add on the date so I pulled out the Years of Cheers Stamp Set and added the "to 2018" using the numbers in that set. I layered the cheers over a vellum banner and the 2018 was stamped on a black banner. Both banners were cut out using the Frames & Flags Die Set. I created the sparkly background using our Starfield Stencil with some sparkly clear embossing paste. I added a strip of gold sparkly paper up the side to add a bit more bling too! Then the whole thing was mounted onto a black cardstock base!

Watercolor Leaf Wedding Card!

Do you ever make personalized cards for occasions? It really makes them so special for the recipient! That's what Samantha did for this beautiful wedding card! She knew the couple was having purple and orange for their Fall wedding so she created a card especially for them using their wedding colors! How amazing!

For the leaves she used our Beautiful Leaves stamp set, embossing them in white and using orange inks to watercolor them. She also used the coordinating Beautiful Leaves Die Set to trim them out. Then she added the "Mr & "Mrs" from our Years of Cheers stamp set, embossing it in white on vellum! That purple watercolor background is so amazing too! What a stunning card!

Cheers to Fall Card & Video by Jess Gerstner

Cheers to Fall!

Have you ever wanted to customize a sentiment? Today this card by Jess does exactly that! She took the big sentiment from our new our Fall-ing For You stamp set but didn't use ALL of the words on it. Instead, she masked some off and added the "Cheers" form our Years of Cheers stamp set! Doesn't that look so cool? She also added in that cute coffee cup and steam from the Fall-ing For You stamp set and did some awesome watercoloring on the background.

Anniversary Card by Danielle Pandeline

Cheers!!

This anniversary card by Danielle is so fun and colorful! She used the cute little champagne glasses  and the word Anniversary from the Years of Cheers stamp set, embossing them in white. She also embossed the big "Happy" from our Simply Seasonal stamp set. If you haven't checked out the Simply Seasonal stamp set, make sure you do - it's perfect for making custom sentiments all year long! I love the fun layers of distress inks over the embossing. And the metallic gold splatters really give a elegant and fun finishing touch!

Cheers to 40 Years Card by Kimberly Rendino

Cheers to 40 with Tiki Drinks!!

Need a reason to celebrate with tiki drinks? How about a 40th birthday? That's exactly what  Kimberly thought when she created this awesome birthday card! She used the fun tiki faces along with the straws and umbrellas from our Tiki Time stamp set and die cut them out using the coordinating Tiki Time Die Set. Then she added them to a kraft card base with some fun colorful stripes up the side! She also used created the custom sentiment "cheers to 40 years" using our awesome Years of Cheers stamp set! This set is so cool because you can use the numbers to create custom cards for any special birthday or anniversary!

Cheers for the New Year!

Happy New Year!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday and a Happy New Year! We had a great time catching up with our families! I was also able to spend some time working on some of our new spring designs - it's going to be another fun year here at Newton's Nook Designs - I can't wait! 

Today I wanted to share this fun neon cheers card that I created. I simply stamped the "cheers" sentiment from our Years of Cheers stamp set on black card stock three times with Versamark ink and embossed them with neon embossing powders! To give the background a "chalk" look I smeared a bit of white ink from a white inkpad across it lightly using a bit of paper towel. To finish it off I matted it onto some neon green cardstock and added on some neon epoxy dots. For the twine, I used a piece of white twine and pulled it across my neon pink inkpad.  I love that you can die the white twine any color to match your card. (TIP: make sure to use a tissue to do this or you will have very messy fingers like I did!! LOL)

Cheers to 2016! 

Hopefully all of your Holiday cards are in the mail, but if didn't get Christmas cards out to everyone there is still time to create New Years cards to send! Today we are sharing this super fun card by Jess! She used our lovely snowflakes from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set embossed in gold. I love the fun watercolor background she created too. The sentiment "Cheers to 2016" is from the Years of Cheers stamp set! This set is super cool because it has all the numbers individually so you can pick and choose them to customize your year. This is also perfect for anniversary cards too!

Here's a gorgeous card by our guest Designer, Tatiana! I love those gorgeous gold tags and  and the gold embossed words. She used our new Jolly Tags stamp set and Tags Times Two die and the sentiment is from our new Simply Seasonal stamp set.

Here's a sweet little pillow box by Larissa! I love the red sparkle she added on the snowflake tag from the Jolly Tags stamp set! She also used red sparkle on the word merry from the Holiday Wishes stamp set. 

Danielle created this adorable penguin Holiday card! she used our new our new Simply Seasonal stamp set for the big "happy Holidays" and added the sweet penguins from the Wild Child stamp set - so cute!! I love that gold background too!

Here's a beautiful snowflake card by Jess! I love the embossed white on the Kraft paper - it makes the white really pop off! What a fun way to showcase our Beautiful Blizzard stamp set!

I love those sparkly snowflake tags on this card by Samantha. She used our new Jolly Tags stamp set and Tags Times Two die set!

Here is an awesome Happy New Year Card by Kimberly! I love the gold countdown on the side of the card!! She used our Years of Cheers stamp set for the numbers and champagne glasses and added the sentiments from the new Simply Seasonal stamp set.

Nina-Marie created this awesome winter scene using our Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set for the main images. She also used the sentiments from the Newton's Christmas Cuddles stamp set. If you look close you can find some snowflakes from the Fox Hollow stamp set and gifts from the Holiday Wishes stamp set! I love that gold striped background too!

Here's what I created! I used the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set to create gold and white snowflakes over a Kraft background and then added the "Happy Holidays" sentiment from our new Simply Seasonal Stamp set.

Yukari used the color combo to create this sweet flamingo card! She used our brand new Festive Flamingos stamp set! I lvo ethe pink sky! Such a fun Christmas Card! 

Lydia was inspired by the color combo to create this soft, snowy card using the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set! I love the ink colors over the white snowflakes and the pop of teal twine! 

This gorgeous flamingo card is by Samantha! She used our Festive Flamingos stamp set to stamp the Flamingos and the "from our flock to yours" Sentiment and added on the "cheers" sentiment from the Years of Cheers stamp set! Such a fun combo and I LOVE the pink watercolored vellum too! 

Larissa used our Newton Loves Coffee stamp set to create her challenge card! I love the teal and pink coffee mug and the sequins that match the color palette! Such an adorable layout too! 

And here's a card by me (Jen)! I used the Festive Flamingos stamp set to create this sweet pink and mint card. I colored the flamingos with the challenge colors and then found some coordinating papers to put behind them! I love this fun and unique color palette for Christmas!!

Cheers!!

Today I'm sharing this fun wine bottle card by Kimberly. She used our new Message in a Bottle Die Set to cut out some bottle shapes for this unique card! I love how she added shading onto the bottles and that splash of wine coming out on the right is so cool!  Then she added on the "cheers" sentiment from our Years of Cheers stamp set with gold embossing. And the fun little cork cut out of cork material is also a die from the Message in a Bottle Die Set! This is such a fun way to use these dies!

Celebrating 49 Years!!

Here's is a fun personalized anniversary card by Crafty Math-Chick. She used the fun hand-drawn numbers from the Years of Cheers stamp set to make just the right number of years for the recipients! Then she added in the cute champagne glasses, also from the Years of Cheers stamp set! I love how she used just black and white with a touch of silver ribbon - so classy!!
