You're EAR-risistable Card by March Guest Designer Mindy Eggen

This is our second post today, to see the prize winner from our Therm O Web Inspiration week, scroll down or click here.

Absolutely thrilled to be back guest designing today for Newton's Nook Designs. Today's card is featuring the adorable Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set stamp set. These are seriously just the sweetest bunnies!

I'm going to start my card by creating the background. I'm using the Diamond Circle stencil and I attach it to my card panel by first securing my panel to the stencil from the back because the stencil is bigger then my paper. Then I'll flip it back over and attach this down to my craft mat. This way nothing moves while I apply the ink. I'll be using Squeezed Lemonade, Abandoned Coral and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide inks going in a diagonal pattern across my paper.

Next, I'm going to apply some of this beautiful Moonstone Glimmer paste. I spread this across my stencil .... carefully. Then I'll scrape off the excess but DO NOT put it back into the container because this excess is now tinted from the ink. Now I'll gently remove my stencil and wash off immediately.

While my background is drying, I'm going to color up one of these little bunnies from the Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set. These are so sweet and simple to color up. I'm using Neenah white 80lb cardstock and coloring in copic markers. Then I'll use the coordinating Bitty Bunnies Die Set to cut my bunny out. I already went ahead and cut out a banner from white cardstock using the Frames & Flags Die Set. Then I'm going to prep my cardstock with an antistatic powder tool. I can now stamp my sentiment from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set with Versafine ink and sprinkle Wow Clear Embossing powder and heat set.

I trimmed my background panel down to 4" x 5 1/4 " and added craft foam to the back. Then attached to my A2 sized cardbase using double sided tape. I'm also going to attach my sentiment banner with double sided tape because it has a nice strong hold and I know it will stay in place on top of that stenciled background. My bunny is attached with foam squares to complete my card.
