 Amanda created a super cute card featuring the papa bear and baby bear from our Papa Bear Stamp Set: 

This adorable card would be perfect for Father's Day or just to let someone know you care. She added the necktie and bow to the bears, also from the Papa Bear Stamp Set and layered them onto a vellum tag. She used several of our dies and stencils to create a fun layered card layout with fun patterns. Detailed product list below.

Next, Samantha has created a Holiday card using retiring Ornamental Newton Stamp Set stamp set!

This slimline card layout is so perfect for showcasing the images of Newton hanging from the branches of the christmas tree! She even added a bit of flock to the branches for texture! She also used our retiring Ornaments Stencil with white paste on the white card base to add a fun tone on tone pattern in the background! Detailed product list below.

All week our design team will be sharing inspiration using some of their favorite products from our retiring list and we are starting the week out with projects today by Zsofia and Maria!

 Zsofia created a mermaid birthday card featuring the our retiring Narly Mermaids Stamp Set. 

To create a fun under the sea themed card she added the mermaid, narwhal and fish along with sentiments from the Narly Mermaids Stamp Set. She also created a background of fish to add to the underwater fun using the retiring Tropical Fish Stencil with some glossy texture paste. These two products pair perfectly together, don't you think!?

Make Every Day a Beach Day Card by May Guest Designer Adam Karle

Hello friends, today we have a card that will have us all thinking about the summer to come.  Who doesn’t want to vacation at the beach? “Aloha Newton” has beat us all to the punch. Newton’s Nook has a knack for creating stamps that speak to our inner selves.

This is a standard A2 card and is my favorite type of card: clean and simple. I started with a white layer one and a circle stencil I made myself using a piece of plastic. I ink blended the circle using two shades of blue ink.  Next I used a darker shade of blue ink and white ink to create the wave action in the circle.  I finally stamped the sentiment in black ink directly onto the card layer. (Something I do not usually do.)

I stamped the napping Newton and colored him using Copic markers. I cut out the image using my Scan N Cut and an xacto knife but if you prefer, there is a coordinating die set for this that is available for purchase: Aloha Newton Die Set.

I attached the image at the bottom of the circle using foam tape. Next I added a few clear sequins and attached the card layer to a dark teal card base.

I Just Plane Like You! Circular Easel Card by Amanda Wilcox

I Just Plane Like You!

Today Amanda has created a fun card featuring that cute bear driving an airplane from our Winston Takes Flight Stamp Set. This set has several sentiments that fit inside the banner behind the plane and Amanda has chosen to use "I just PLANE like you!" She colored the cute bear in his plane with copic markers in fun shades of teal and salmon pink. So cute! To cut the images out she used the coordinating Winston Takes Flight Die Set. Behind Winston, she created a sky using our new Petite Clouds Stencil with light blue flock. This adds such a fun fuzzy effect to those clouds!

For the card, she created a circular easel card using our Circle Frames Die Set. She simply cut the large scalloped circle out multiple times, adding folds so that when you open the card up, you can keep it in a standing position.

Here is a side view so you can see how it looks opened up:

The strip along the bottom is popped up using a dimensional so that it holds the card in place! She also added the "you are amazing" sentiment onto this strip using our Floral Roundabout Stamp Set.

Oh Sheep! Interactive Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Oh Sheep!

Need a card to make someone smile? Today we are sharing an adorable card with a surprise moving element by Tatiana that is perfect for sending smiles!

Her card features a trio of adorable sheep from from our Baa Stamp Set. Tatiana colored the sheep using copic markers and a fun dotted coloring technique to give them a fun fuzzy look! She cut the images out using the coordinating Baa Die Set. For the scene, she used our Land Borders Die Set for the hills and grass and our Petite Clouds Stencil to add clouds to the sky with white texture paste. She also added a sunshine in the corner using our Sky Scene Builders Die Set. So adorable! In the center she added two hay bales from our Moo Stamp Set. 

Here is the extra bit of fun - the sheep on the top actually leaps back and forth over the hay bales from left (photo above) to right (photo below)!

How to create this card:

Below we have some instructions from Tatiana on how she created the interactive element for this card:

• I trimmed a piece of clear acetate and punched a whole towards the bottom. I slightly rounded the bottom corners with scissors. 
• Then I adhered a small "spin and slider disk” (I used My Favorite Things brand) to the background. The disk can be easily replaced with a round 3D foam piece. 
• I let the glue dry, inserted the acetate piece through the hole and fixed the mechanism with a small paper circle glued to the disk. The bottom part of the slider element was hid under the hay bales. 
• The sheep was popped toward the top part of the acetate on a foam tape.

Here is another look at the card. What a fun way to add an extra special element to a card by creating a piece that moves! The recipient is sure to have fun sliding the sheep back and forth!

Bold Birthday Dog Card by Samantha Van Arnhem

Bold Blue Dogs for a Birthday Greeting!

Today Samantha has created a birthday card that any dog lover would adore! She took the bold silhouette stamp of a dog from our Furr-ever Friends Stamp Set and stamped the image in rows using several shades of blue ink! What a fun look! To make this into a birthday card she used the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from our Birthday Roundabout Stamp Set and stamped it onto a stitched banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set. This card is so simple, yet stunning! 

You could easily change this card up by just switching the color palette to match the recipients favorite color too! What a great way to create a quick and simple birthday card for any dog lover on your list!

What we love about this card too is that this image is actually from a pet sympathy stamp set, but with a bit of creativity, Samantha shows us how easy it is to stretch your stamps for other occasions.

Flights of Thanks Card by Farhana Sarker

Flights of Thanks!

Today we are sharing a beautiful butterfly themed thank you card by Farhana! She combined two of our products that feature butterflies for a card that is sure to take flight!

For the background she used our two piece Butterflies Stencil Set. She used the stencil with the butterfly silhouettes and added beautiful ink colors in purple, blue and green. The pretty wing patterns were applied using the second stencil with white ink. This stencil also has etching on it so it's easy to line up. What a lovely effect! 

Then, for the image in the center, she used the heart shaped butterfly stamp from our new Heartfelt Butterflies Stamp Set. She embossed this lovely big image on vellum using gold embossing powder! Then she cut the image out using the big scallop edged heart from our Heart Frames Die Set. This image fits perfectly inside the die cut. To finish off this amazing card, she embossed the "flights of thanks" sentiment from the Heartfelt Butterflies Stamp Set in gold onto a purple banner. This banner was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set, which works with all the sentiments on this stamp set! 

What a beautiful way to send a note of appreciation!
