Spring Acetate Card by Farhana Sarker | Floral Roundabout Stamp Set, Circle Frames Die Set and Banner Trio Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

You are Amazing!!

Need a fun idea for a special card? Try acetate! This awesome card idea Farhana will definitely inspire you to think of fun and creative ways to make unique cards! She started out with the round floral image from our Floral Roundabout Stamp Set, embossing it in gold. She colored the image with copic markers and then cut it out using the large stitched circle from our Circle Frames Die Set. For the sentiment she stamped "You are Amazing" onto the rounded edge banner from our Banner Trio Die Set in gold. She ink blended over the sentiment with a pink to yellow blend to match the flowers! So pretty!

Here is a close up so you can the beautiful details and embossing:

For her card, she used a sheet of acetate and cut it to the size for an A2 card base. scoring it on the top to create a clear card base. She adhered the floral circle image to the front and then cut out a white scalloped circle using the Circle Frames Die Set and adhered it behind the floral image on or the inside of the card. She also cut out a second scalloped circle using the Circle Frames Die Set and layered it on the card inside, lining them up so that when the card is closed you don't see the inside shape.

Then when you open it up, you do see the second scalloped circle. This circle makes the perfect place to write a message to the recipient!
