Newton's Nook Designs - January Guest Designer, Tricia Barber

Hey there! My name is Tricia and I am very excited to be guest designing this month for Newton’s Nook!  I live in Georgia and have been crafty all of my life.  I love doing all kinds of crafty things and got hooked on stamping about 10 years ago.  Copic coloring is my go to but I love experimenting with new things.  I look forward to sharing my creations with you this month!

Hey there!  It's Tricia here with you today sharing my first Newton's Nook guest post!  I am super excited to share some projects with you this month.   I adore snowmen and have a small little collection that I like to keep out all winter after putting away all the Christmas decorations.  It seemed fitting to use the Snowman Roundabout Stamp Set for my first project!

This stamp set is just so adorable and I love all the tiny snowman images clustered together.  I stamped the image onto Neenah 110 lb cardstock and colored with my Copic markers.  I added some shading around the images and left the background white.   I added some Distress Stickles to the snow to add some sparkle.

For my card panel, I die cut a circle out of the center of an aqua card panel.  I stenciled the panel with the that had been stenciled with the Gingham Stencil and some aqua ink.

I just love the sentiment "Stay Frosty" from the Snowman Roundabout Stamp Set and white heat embossed it onto a small strip of black cardstock and added to the panel with some foam tape.   I finished it out with some crystal jewels for a little more sparkle!
Thank you for joining me today!
