You're Super Card by Danielle Pandeline

You're Super Dachshund Card by Danielle Pandeline | Dress up Doxies Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Hot Dog! You're Super!

Today we are sharing this adorable dachshund card by Danielle! She used the funny doxie wearing a hot dog costume from our Dress Up Doxies stamp set. Although we released this set at Halloween all of the images in it could be used for any time of year. The doxies dressed in costumes would make great birthday cards or just everyday cards to make someone smile! That's definitely what this card by Danielle does! She used such bright, cheer colors and a lovely vellum star behind the dog! Then she added some fun paint splatters and the "You're Super" sentiment, also from the Dress Up Doxies stamp set. So cute!

We are glad this card made us smile because we are sad to say that this is Danielle's last post as a Design Team member! Danielle has been on our team for two amazing years, sharing her fun whimsical creations here on the NND blog! She always has such a unique ways of using our stamps and we have really enjoyed seeing all her creations! We will miss her creations on the blog and we will be checking out her blog GirlRacerScrap often to see what she's up to and say hello and we hope you will too!

Happy Birthday Card by Yukari Yoshioka

This is our second post today, to see Inky Paws Challenge 38 Winners, scroll down or click here.

Happy Birthday Card by Yukari Yoshioka | Raccoon Rascals Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Happy Birthday!

Cards by Yukari always make me smile and this one is no exception! She used the cute raccoon hanging from the branch from the Raccoon Rascals stamp set and fussy cut him out to put him in front of that lovely starry sky! She also added googly eyes on him which gives such a fun bit of whimsy to the card! For the sentiment, she use the big word "Happy" from the Simply Seasonal stamp set and added the smaller "birthday" below it. This is such a fun card!

Sadly we have another farewell today. This is Yuki's last post as a Design Team member! We have really enjoyed having her on our team for the last year and were a fan of her work even before that!  Her cards always make us smile! She has such clever combinations of images and uses stunning color combos! We are so sad to see her go but we've enjoyed having her be part of our team! We definitely wish her the very best in her future endeavors and will be checking out her blog Handmade by Yuki often to say hello and we hope you will too!

Merry Christmas Card by December Guest Designer Anika Lerche

Hey stampers, Anni here once again.

I am back with my last card as a guest designer for Newton’s Nook Designs. And with Christmas just a few days away I have another Christmas card for you.

Fox Christmas Card by Anika Lerche | Fox Hollow, Holiday Tweets & Holiday Wishes stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

For this card I combined the sets Fox Hollow and Holiday Wishes.

I started by stamping all the images on white cardstock. For the colouring I used coloured pencils. Coloured pencils are my favorite colour medium. It takes a while longer to colour with them but I love the details I can add with them. And I find it much easier to blend colours than with Copics. After finishing the colouring I went over the black lines with a fine tip marker to make the lines real black again.

I fussy cut all the images – I am one of the weird people that LOVE to fussy cut.

I cut down two stripes of white cardstock and adhered it with dimensional foam tape to the card base. Then I assembled the card. For the sentiment I used Merry Christmas from the set Holiday Tweets, embossed it in white on aqua cardstock!

Hope you like my untraditional Christmas card!

Thanks for stopping by!

- Anni

Here's what I created:

Advent Calendar Extravaganza 2016 with Taheerah Atchia | Big Wishes Kitty Christmas Card by Jennifer Jackson | Ornamental Newton Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook
I had so much fun playing with our Ornamental Newton Stamp Set to create this fun colorful holiday card! That silly kitty is so cute as he's trying to hang onto that GIANT christmas bulb! I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it using zig clean color markers. Then I went over the gold areas with a gold wink of stella marker to add sparkle. I trimmed out the kitty image and the added santa hat with the coordinating Ornamental Newton die set.

Advent Calendar Extravaganza 2016 with Taheerah Atchia | Big Wishes Kitty Christmas Card by Jennifer Jackson | Ornamental Newton Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

For the card, I created a big watercolor background and added the kitty on top, hanging from some gold and white bakers twine. Then to give it some some holiday bling I added some sparkly washi tape up the side and added some dots I had created using Nuvo Crystal and Glitter drops. The "BIG holiday wishes" sentiment is also from the Ornamental Newton Stamp Set.

Happy Christmas Card by Jess Gerstner

Happy Christmas Card by Jess Gerstner | Newton Loves Coffee, Beautiful Blizzard and Simply Seasonal Stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Happy Christmas with Coffee!

Today Jess combined several NND sets to create this adorable Christmas card! She started out embossing some snowflakes from our Beautiful Blizzard stamp set onto some pretty woodgrain paper. She added on that adorable kitty hugging his coffee mug from our Newton Loves Coffee stamp set and finished it off with the "Happy Christmas" sentiment created using words from our Simply Seasonal set. This card is so perfect for Christmas with all the neutral colors and the pop of red and green!

Jess created a video for this card too!

This week we are sharing several goodbyes as we are having a new Design Team starting in January! This post will be the last post for Jess as a Design Team Member! We've really enjoyed all her fun creations and videos over the last couple of years!

Although this is Jess's last post as on the Newton's Nook Design Team she's still going to be hanging out with us in 2017 to help out with our Inky Paws Challenges! In the new year we're going to switch up our challenges a bit so stay tuned for some exciting new changes!

Thanks for the beautiful inspiration today, Jess! You can see more of her projects on her blog, Jess Crafts  - and you can also follow her Jess Crafts youtube channel to see great videos too!
