August Reveal - Day 3 - Newton Dreams of New York

Newton visits the Big Apple! This fun 4 x 6 stamp set features our favorite kitty enjoying the big city. It will be so fun to color the kitty in the Statue of Liberty costume or the "I Love NY" t-shirt! Use the images of the Chrysler Building and Empire State building along with the Brooklyn Bridge to make fun city scenes. The cute image of the kitty hugging the "Big Apple" can also be used for Fall and back-to-school greetings!

Samantha created this NYC card! Doesn't Newton look so cute in his statue of liberty costume? She cut out all those tiny stars with the coordinating die too! So cool! 

This night scene by Naki really captures the glitz and glitter of the New York skyline! The monochromatic grays with all the silver and gold accents really set the mood!  

Kimberly created this awesome Big Apple Shaker card! The way she stamped the buildings on the acetate with the blue behind it inside the shaker and is just black and white on the outside really draws your eye in!

This card by Lydia features another gorgeous night scene! I love how she inked the top part of the card to create a beautiful skyline! 

Yukari created an awesome black and white graphic background by stamping a bunch of the images randomly. The kitty in the NY T-shirt really pops off the center of the card! 

Crafty Math-Chick created this adorable cider packet holder using the kitty with the "Big Apple." What a fun way to stretch your stamps and get more uses out of them! 

Stephanie created this fun city scene! Those fun graphic washi tapes really give it a modern city feel! 

Another great use for the kitty and "Big Apple" image! Larissa created this adorable teacher card!  She added the #1 flag using stamps from the Touchdown Tails stamp set! 

The background on this card by Danielle is so cool! I reminds me of an amazing fireworks display over the city! So fun!

Stephanie created this awesome duo of cards using the leaves. Isn't it cool how she colored them in fall ombre colors?

Yukari used a ton of the leaf images to create a beautiful background. I love the yummy fall colors she used! 

Kimberly used the die cut leaves to create a mask and went over it with color bursts before removing the leaves! What a beautiful effect! 

Naki created this lovely fall card using the new leaves and die set. I love the soft tone-on-tone colors she used with the inks and cardstock!

Isn't it fun how Lydia created blue and green leaves? I love this idea - it shows how you could use this set year round! Do you spy a new sentiment? That "happy little hello" is a sneak peek from a set we're revealing later this week! 

Samantha  created this adorable scrapbook page using leaves! I love how she created a big collage of black and white die cut leaves to accentuate her photo! The added watercolor makes it all pop! So pretty! 

Larissa created this beautiful autumn card! I love the way she combined the sentiments to create "Autumn Blessings." The Subtle layering and die cutting on the leaves is so pretty too! 

The leaves on this card by Danielle look like they're gently falling from the sky! I love the soft pretty fall colors she used! 

This card by Jess is so fun and colorful! I love how she created a background with washi tape! The cut out leaf shape for the sentiment is such a fun finishing touch!

Today is our first reveal day for our August Release! Naki created this adorable layout using 4 raccoons and a bird with a thought bubble! What a great way to use a bunch of the images in this set to create a scene!

Samantha did some creative coloring on her raccoon! I love the purple on the tail! So cute! 

Yukari created this adorable scene with the three raccoons on the tree! I love the dark sky and grass that she added! 

This raccoon looks like he's up to trouble! I love the way Kimberly colored him with big eyes! This would make a great masculine card too!

A Day of Sunshine Card with August Guest Designer Mindy Baxter

Hi there it's Mindy from MyCreativeScoop.com, again.

Today I have a fun everyday card to share with you. But I'm actually using Newton's Curious Christmas Stamp Set. Isn't that awesome! This stamp set is so versatile if you just think a little bit outside the box! I took the Newton looking at the moon and Santa Sleigh Stamp and just colored Newton and cut him out. Pretty clever, right!? You can actually use this stamp set for so many occasions.

I used my Cool Grey Copic Markers to color this little darling Newton and I used my Copics also to create the the Rainbow on the other side of the window. I made the window from rectangle die cuts and just glued the the little strips for the inside of the window. The sentiment is actually from Newton's Mini Stamp Set, Newton's Daydream.
