Guest Designer Kelly Santi used the fun lamp image! I love all the fun patterned papers she used too!

Next - our design team is rockin' the house with this set!

Here's a fun card by Tessa! I love how she used the frame stamp to create a background  - plus those angled banners are so fun! 

Larissa created a fun vellum pocket card! Love how she has those lightbulbs dangling from string! 

A beautiful watercolor card by Samantha - Isn't that background of nails and hearts so pretty?  I didn't know you could make nails look pretty but she did! 

 I really love the contrast of the bright watercolor background with the embossed white on black on this card by Valerie! Gorgeous!

Love this little cork-board card Taheerah! It's so sweet and simple - great to encourage a friend! 

This card by Danielle has would brighten anyone's day with all the fun watercolored lights! 

 Christine created this fun card with all the bright tape dispensers- love how she did this!

 Crafty Math-Chick created a fun tag for this little lightbulb gift! How cute is that?

May Release Sneak Peeks!

Another quick post today to give you sneak peeks of the two new sets for May. 

We will be releasing TWO new adorable sets this month!  Full reveals will be Wednesday & Thursday (one full reveal each day) with some really cute cards made by our Design Team and Guest Designers! These sets will be for sale in the online shop on Friday, May 16th! Make sure you pop through all the blogs and leave comments both days for a chance to win!

We really had fun a blast checking out all the great entries for our latest  Inky Paws Challenge at here at the Newton's Nook Designs blog! This months theme was a color Challenge!

Inky Paws Favorites

Since there were so many beautiful cards, we chose three more as our favorite picks! If you see your card below, contact us if you'd like to get a "favorite" badge for your blog!

This box card by Peggy using Love Grows is super fun!  It has so many fun layers! Check out her blog, That's a lot of Scrap, for lots more photos of her project!  

We thought this kitty card by Cindy was a really fun way to use all the colors in the palette!  She used the kitty from Newton's Antics and the "hello" from Winged Wishes!   

We also really loved this card by Marina!  It's so fun how she used the fall leaves from Wagon of Wishes but made it look springy by using the pastel color palette! What a good way to get more use out of your stamps!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello & Happy Mothers Day! 

I just wanted to pop in with a quick hello and share a couple Mothers Day cards I made using our Love Grows set!  The first card is nearly a "one layer" card. I masked out the center with an oval and then stamped the roses and sponged all around it.  Then I used the blank center to add my sentiment as the focal point. This card is simple and sweet but turned out very pretty, I think!

For this next card I also used the Love Grows set. For this one I created a subtle background by stamping brown roses on kraft colored card stock. Then I stamped a couple on subtle printed papers and paper pierced them out. I also stamped the leaves on green and fussy cut them out too. I added sentiment embossed on vellum and a piece of woodgrain paper finishes it off. I didn't even use twine or ribbon on this one - imagine that!

Don't you just love this fun little tag by Crafty Math-Chick? She used the fun chili pepper and "hottie" sentiment from our Love à la Carte stamp set! Wouldn't this be perfect to sneak onto the table and surprise your sweetie? I love all the little hot red "bling" she added around the edge and the heart shaped eyelet! So fun!
