Ice Cream Card by Jennifer Jackson

Ice Cream Card by Jennifer Jackson | Summer Scoops Stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

What's the scoop?

Today I'm sharing an adorable summer card using our Summer Scoops stamp set! To me the images in this stamp set just beg to be watercolored with yummy summer colors! I stamped the images onto watercolor paper with waterproof black ink and then watercolored them using zig clean color markers! I just LOVE working with these - the colors are so fun and bright! And the ice cream images are so fun to use. I created a row of three cones and made each one a different flavor!

I used a kraft colored card base and some blue checkered patterned paper I found because it reminded me of a tablecloth you'd see in an ice cream shop or diner! Of course I had to add a doily too and some fun pink ribbon! This card was SO FUN to make! I finished it off with the "What's the scoop?" sentiment, which is also from the Summer Scoops stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed this card today.
Anyone want to go get ice cream now? LOL!
