Create gorgeous snowy cards with this 4x6 Stamp Set! It features one large circle stamp, filled with a variety of beautiful snowflakes! Stamp the image with a colored ink or emboss it for a quick and easy winter greeting! It also includes 5 versatile snow themed sentiments. January Reveals - Day 3 - Deer Friend

Today is the Day 3 of our January Release Reveals! Are you enjoying the new products so far? This sweet fawn card by Juliana would be perfect for Valentine's Day. She used two of the fawns from the new Deer Friend Stamp Set along with the big heart from the Darling Hearts Die Set. She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set to create the stitched edge frames.

This little square card by Jennifer is so charming!  The cute deer, leaves and flowers from the Deer Friend Stamp Set really pop over the layers of white cardstock and vellum!

Larissa created this darling little scene with the two fawns resting in the grass! She used the fawns, flowers and leaves from the Deer Friend Stamp Set and nestled them over grass created with the Land Borders Die Set. She also used the Tumbling Hearts Stencil to create the heard background.

This beautiful hilly scene was created by Samantha! She used the fawn from the Deer Friend Stamp Set and layered him over hills cut out using the Land Borders Die Set. She also used the the little leaves from the new Deer Friend Stamp Set to create a subtle background pattern! 

The two fawns on this card by Naki look so cozy snuggled in together! She layered them over a gorgeous inked background oval and added bits of grass using the Land Borders Die Set. She also added in a couple of flowers from the Deer Friend Stamp Set for a lovely finishing touch!!

This card by Holly is so darling! She created an cozy winter scene for the fawn by stamping trees from our Whispering Pines Stamp Set behind the fawn! She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set to create the scallop edged frame on the xo xo paper and banner for the sentiment.

Ellen created this sweet scene using two of the deer from the Deer Friend Stamp Set in front of a woodsy background setting. The pink edges make coordinate so perfectly with the pretty pink sky and are perfect for a special Valentine!

Tatiana created this cheerful spring card featuring the fawn from the Deer Friend Stamp Set. She created a tag for the fawn using the Fancy Edges Tags Die Set and embellished it with the tiny flowers and leaves from the Deer Friend Stamp Set. She also used the Tumbling Hearts Stencil to make that fun lime green heart background!

This woodland scene by Maria has so much fun dimension! She nestled the two fawns from the new Deer Friend Stamp Set into this adorable scene with layers of grass using the Land Borders Die Set. She also added that cute pink bow on top using the Pines & Holly Die Set.

Snowflakes by January Guest Designer Kevin Bray

Today we have our first post from our January Guest Designer, Kevin Bray! Kevin will be joining us this month and sharing some awesome cards using our products! Scroll down to ready about him and to check out his first project below!

My name is Kevin Bray and I'm from Plummer, MN but currently go to school at MSU-Moorhead for health education. I started card making about a year and a half ago and have gotten seriously addicted! I love clean and simple designs and coloring with different mediums

Hi, everyone! I am so so so excited to be guest designing for the month of January for Newton’s Nook Design! I have loved this company for a long time and was so honored to be asked to be a guest designer for the month. Here is my first project of the month!


I started by creating a gradient affect onto a white panel using 4 shades of blue Copic markers. Then I heat embossing a flurry of snowflakes from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set. Next, I cut the panel on a diagonal and adhered them to my card base using some craft foam. Then I die cut and colored a sweet sentiment to place between the panels.

Happy Christmas Card by Jess Gerstner

Happy Christmas with Coffee!

Today Jess combined several NND sets to create this adorable Christmas card! She started out embossing some snowflakes from our Beautiful Blizzard stamp set onto some pretty woodgrain paper. She added on that adorable kitty hugging his coffee mug from our Newton Loves Coffee stamp set and finished it off with the "Happy Christmas" sentiment created using words from our Simply Seasonal set. This card is so perfect for Christmas with all the neutral colors and the pop of red and green!

Jess created a video for this card too! 

This week we are sharing several goodbyes as we are having a new Design Team starting in January! This post will be the last post for Jess as a Design Team Member! We've really enjoyed all her fun creations and videos over the last couple of years!

Although this is Jess's last post as on the Newton's Nook Design Team she's still going to be hanging out with us in 2017 to help out with our Inky Paws Challenges! In the new year we're going to switch up our challenges a bit so stay tuned for some exciting new changes!

Several of our Design Team Members decided to play along - check out all the awesome cards they created, inspired by this fun, festive color palette ! Read the description below each card to see who made it.

This sweet winter card by Yukari features our bunny, Lily, dressed in a Christmas colored sweater from the Sweater Weather Stamp set! She used the color combo on the sweater, leaving the bunny white and added a bunch of fun mittens in the background too! The "Season of Joy" sentiment is from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set. 

Samantha used the fun color combo on this card featuring Winston driving his car full of gifts from the Winston's Home for Christmas stamp set. She used the red and green on the car, gift and trees and added the teal as a watercolor background on white paper! 

Kimberly created this adorable card by embossing the trees from our Festive Forest stamp set in white over red cardstock! She added in the "Thank you" from our Vegetable Garden stamp set and a just a little pop of teal!

This sweet fireplace scene by Larissa uses red and green on the rug and fireplace swag while keeping a white card base. Then she added some teal in the background to help this lovely scene op off the card! This sweet image is from our Fireside Friends stamp set.  

Jess created a flurry of snowflakes from our Beautiful Blizzard stamp set using the chosen color combo! I love how pretty this looks! She added an extra pop of teal up the sides too! 

This gorgeous wreath shaker card by Naki uses the color combo in the form of sequins inside the shaker! She also used the red and green on the wreath which was made with our Pines & Holly Die Set, and added an extra pop of teal with a teal tag using our new Joyful Tags stamp set! Such a fun card! 

This cute forest scene by Danielle features our cute kitty in a sweater from the Sweater Weather Stamp set! She used the green, red, and teal on the sweater, leaving the kitty white! So cute! 

This card by Stephanie features our adorable doxie from the Holiday Hounds stamp set twisted up in some holiday lights! She kept her color palette focused on the red green and white with just little teal accents!

Here is another lovely snowflake card using the color combo with  Beautiful Blizzard stamp set. Crafty Math-Chick created this one, using white for the base and added the snowflakes in the other colors of the challenge! I love the simplicity of this with the added sequins for a bit of bling! 

Here's one created by me! I used Winston dressed in his sweater from the new Sweater Weather stamp set and colored his sweater using the color combo! The colors really pop off the white card base!

Next is this lovely snowflake card by Jess! She used our big swirly snowflakes from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set and added in a fun custom sentiment using the words from our Simply Seasonal stamp set! To see a video on this card, click here!

New Years Card by Jessica Gerstner

Cheers to 2016! 

Hopefully all of your Holiday cards are in the mail, but if didn't get Christmas cards out to everyone there is still time to create New Years cards to send! Today we are sharing this super fun card by Jess! She used our lovely snowflakes from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set embossed in gold. I love the fun watercolor background she created too. The sentiment "Cheers to 2016" is from the Years of Cheers stamp set! This set is super cool because it has all the numbers individually so you can pick and choose them to customize your year. This is also perfect for anniversary cards too!
