A Coffee and a Thanks Card!

Today we are sharing a caffeinated filled thank you card by Donna!

This card features:
Thanks a Latte Die Set
Fractured Card Layout Die
Coffee Shop Paper Pack
Coffee Delights Stamp Set
Coffee Delights Die Set

Hello Crafty Friends!
It’s Donna here, today I am sharing a fun coffee-themed thank you card featuring the big Thanks a Latte Die Set.  There’s nothing better than sending a little handmade appreciation! Today I’m sharing a fun coffee-themed thank you card featuring the Thanks a Latte Die Set as the focal point. I love how the bold die-cut sentiment stands out against the warm orange tone background.

The patterned paper is from the Coffee Shop Paper Pack, and I used the Fractured Card Layout Die to create a modern, geometric design that adds lots of visual interest. To finish the card, I stamped, colored, and die cut the adorable little coffee cup from the Coffee Delights Stamp Set, adding the perfect finishing touch beneath the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by, please come back again for more inspiration!

For our stop on the hop I created two fun cards using our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set along with some of my favorite dies and coffee themed papers!

My first card uses:

Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set

Newton Loves Coffee Die Set

Coffee Shop Paper Pack

Card Layout 6 Die

Corner Flip Die Set

I started by coloring Newton peeking over the counter at his cup of coffee from the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set. I used alcohol markers to color the image, matching the colors with the paper from our Coffee Shop Paper Pack.

Next, I cut out the dark brown frame and white center piece using the  Card Layout 6 Die to create the frame for the background.

Then I used our Corner Flip Die Set to cut out 4 rectangles using the paper with the coffee mugs from the  Coffee Shop Paper Pack. This die has two pieces and each piece includes a score line angled in one of the corners. I cut out both pieces twice, turning the direction on the second cut so the angles all faced into the center. Then I folded along the score lines and adhered the flaps down. This is such a FUN way to use BOTH sides of your patterned papers!

To finish the card I stamped the sentiment into the white center piece and added Newton along the center of the card. So cute!!

My second card uses:

Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set

Newton Loves Coffee Die Set

Coffee House Stories Paper Pack

Card Layout 7 Die

Circle Frames Die Set

I started again by coloring an image of Newton from the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set. This time I chose the image of him hugging the giant takeout coffee. This time I used purple to coordinate with our Coffee House Stories Paper Pack.

For this card I used our Card Layout 7 Die for the background. I cut it out first from Kraft colored paper for the frame edge. Then I used the same die three more times with different papers from the Coffee House Stories Paper Pack to create the three inside pieces.

I adhered everything together over a purple card base. Last, I added Newton to the card along with the sentiment "I need some coffee right MEOW!"

Thanks a Latte Card by Amanda Wilcox

Send a LATTE Thanks!

Today we are sharing a fun coffee themed thank you card by Amanda featuring some of our fun new coffee themed products!

To create this card Amanda starts out by creating the coffee themed thank you message using our new Thanks a Latte Die Set. This die set includes the sentiment along with a shadow die that fits perfectly behind the letters. Layering them together it allows you to create a sentiment that really pops off your card! Amanda cut out her message using white for the letters and navy blue for the shadow.

For her card she started with a white card base. Along the top of her card she inked an area of blue, sizing it to fit behind the sentiment. She also added some blue colored splatters and layered her sentiment over the inked area.

Then she added some coffee themed patterned papers from Coffee Shop Paper Pad along the bottom half of her card.  The finishing touch is a bit of burlap twine across the top!

This fun card was created using only dies and paper! What a quick and easy way to create a fun thank you card for a friend who loves coffee!

We hope you enjoyed this project by Amanda. You can see more over her beautiful work over on her blog, Twiddler's Nook!
