Newton Makes Plans Card Trio by Amanda Wilcox

Three Adorable Kitty Themed Greetings!

Today we are sharing a trio of adorable kitty cards created by Amanda that are sure to make you smile! 

For this fun trio she features several of the mini Newton images from our Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set. This set has so many cute little kitties doing activities that are perfect for creating planner or scrapbook pages but they also work great on cards too! She colored nine different kitties and cut them out using the coordinating Newton Makes Plans Die Set. Then she adhered each of them on top of a small white circle that was cut out using the small circle from our Frames Squared Die Set. 

For the cards, she created three stenciled panels using our Confetti Stencil, Petite Paw Prints Stencil, Music Stencil. She simply inked the stencils up using a color that was slightly darker than her paper color for a fun tone-on-tone look.  She cut each stenciled panel out using our Framework Die Set to give it a postage edge. Then she mounted three kitty circles on each card, over a thin strip of white cardstock. 

For the sentiments, she chose three different sentiments from our Heartfelt Meows Stamp Set, stamping each one in black ink below the trio of kitties! So cute!

Isn't it pretty how she added white gel pen details and sparkle and shine? These little kitties are sure to send a big smiles!

Believe In Your Dreams Card by April Guest Designer Candice Fisher

It’s Springtime and for me that means coming out of hibernation from being buried in snow here in Minnesota!

I think this card using Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set is perfect for all the activities I can now go out and do!

The inspiration for this card comes from my daughter in college and son who is about to graduate high school.  I look at all the different Newtons in this set and see all the dreams that my kids can do!

To begin my card, I trimmed watercolor paper to the size of my card and inked it with spun sugar oxide ink.  I then used the Bokeh Stencil Set to create the circles, first with worn lipstick and then second with abandoned coral. The awesome thing about this stencil set is that they have very faint lines of the circles from the other stencil for easy lining up! Genius! I felt that the eye wasn’t drawn in, so I added a light inking of abandoned coral around the edges. 

I die cut the frame and inked each square along the bottom with cracked pistachio.  I pop dotted the frame at an angle and glued the squares in the center of each and trimmed the bottom with scissors.  For the rectangle I stamped the sentiment from the Once upon a Princess Stamp Set.  Next, I stamped all the mini Newtons, colored with copic markers, and die cut them out with the coordinating dies.  I am in love with mini stamps and I definitely recommend the coordinating dies to make it easier, (I, of course, have to use all of them on one card)!

To finish this fun card, I simply added the die cut you layered along the top.  I tried sequins and other accents, but it seemed to take away from these cuties so I kept it simple.  A hard concept for me to not add sparkle or shine! 

Just an FYI, my daughter is currently either the Newton in the laundry basket sleeping or the one buried in the book, while my son is the one exercising or joining his sister in the laundry basket!

Let your Dreams Take Flight Card by Andrea Shell

Newton Dreams of Success!

Today we have a fun inspirational card by Andrea! She combined several stamp sets for an awesome card idea that will help stretch your creative juices! First, she used the image of the kitty wearing a graduation cap and holding up a diploma from our Newton's Graduation Stamp Set. She colored the kitty with copics, adding fun stripes. She created a sky and grass background for the kitty using distress oxide inks and added little hand drawn tufts of grass. Then she added a fun cloud in the sky containing three kitties from our new Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set. It looks like Newton is dreaming of being a doctor, traveling, and playing music! She added in the "let your dreams take flight sentiment from our Uplifting wishes Stamp Set!

What a fun way combine a few stamp sets together and to make a custom card that fits the recipient just right!

Maria created this gorgeous planner page using the little kitties from the new Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set and the words from the It's A Plan Stamp Set! She also used our Sky Borders Die Set to mask clouds onto the top of the page and our Evergreen Stencil and Sunscape Stencil to add the sun rays and trees! She's even playing with calligraphy and hand-lettered the word "weekend!" So fun!

This adorable shaker card was created by Andrea! She added those cute little kitties from the Newton Makes Plans Set in each square. She added in words and hearts using the It's A Plan Stamp Set and finished it off with a big "celebrate" from our Birthday Essentials Stamp Set

Naki is all ready to plan out her year! She's created lots of stickers using the cute kitties from our new Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set. She cut them out using the coordinating die set and then pulled them through her Xyron sticker maker so they're ready to go as stickers! 

Those cute kitties from the Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set work great on cards too! On her cards today, Zsofia combined those cute kitties with custom sentiments that she created using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. She created one for a birthday and one for an inspirational fitness card! She also used the stitched rectangle die cut from our Frames & Flags Die Set to frame her sentiments!

This kitty card by Samantha is so cute! She created a rainbow of color and words using the words from the new It's A Plan Stamp Set, leaving a white circle one side. Inside the circle she added three cute little kitties doing activities from our Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set. She finished out the card by adding the "It's Your Day" Sentiment from our Birthday Essentials Stamp Set. This would make a great specialized birthday card!

Ellen is getting her January all planned out with our new sets! She used the kitties from the Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set and the words from the It's A Plan Stamp Set to decorate her pages. She also added in the letters for JAN using our  Essential Alphabet Die Set and the postage edged rectangle from our Framework Die Set. What a pretty way to stay organized!

Larissa created this adorable card using the words from the It's A Plan Stamp Set to create a cascading interactive card. You pull on the right to reveal what's behind the panels!
